The location of Hotel Monica is fantastic if you want to explore the city. We walked everywhere from the hotel daily. Our room was basic but met all our requirements and the aircon excellent to keep the mosquitoes at bay. The breakfast was very generous including yoghurts, a choice of cereal, fresh fruit, croissants, ham, cheese, orange juice, bread, honey/jam/marmalade coffee, tea and we enjoyed this on the beautiful courtyard terrace. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We stayed in room 27 and our ensuite had nowhere to hang our wet towels overnight. This was disappointing as we had to either hang over shower or leave folded on stool or bidet which meant they didn't dry for the morning.

Location, easy check in all time, there is a 24 h open recepcion 50 m near to the hotel

No elevators, uncomfartable bed

Hotel Monica is simple and with limited facilities but what it does have it does well. - The room was spacious and the bed comfortable - It was spotless and cleaned daily -Breakfast was really good -The lady who prepared breakfast was friendly and welcoming

Like most others check in was a little confusing. Coffee in the room or available downstairs would have been good.

I love the location. It is walking distance to the duomo, ponte Vecchio, central market and many more attractions. We did all of our sightseeing by foot. I love the breakfast in the morning. They had cornettos, bread, ham, cheese, fruits, yogurt, orange juice and a full coffee machine and normal brew americano as well. The room was nice, they had a space where they portrayed part of the ancient structure. You can see the wall in part of the toilet area. We visited during winter and the temperature was super nice in the room. Heaters work very good and we had nice views.

Stairs in the entrance without lift so be mindful of your luggage.

The hotel is located in a typical Florentine building. Located near the center of Florence. Renovated bathroom and large comfortable beds, air conditioners are maintained and working at max. Very clean. Standard breakfast, plentiful, fresh and tasty. It is a real pleasure to enjoy a coffee with a croissant in the morning on the terrace. The staff is friendly, check-in takes place at the reception in the neighboring hotel, which is by no means complicated. We received accurate and timely directions, which we appreciate!

A perfect location that is close to the trainstation you plan to take an early morning train. Close to to everthing. More or less 10/15 minuts away from the main center.The staff is very helpful.Good information about where you will get the Keys, thats was lockede 50 meters away at the Hotell Marios.

Take a few minuts before some hot water will Come in the morning.

We really liked the location, price-value relation, the staff but we definitely loved having our breakfast outside it was just amazing. We did found a Trattoria named “Enzo e Piero” that was just awesome (we went to diner every single day).

Nothing really, we loved this place

Trainstation and city center nearby. No need for trams or bus. Even the hotel has just simple and old school furnishings the breakfast is good, the personal is nice. For smokers there is a terrace. The price is OK. I really recommend it for persons who want to watch Florence's artworks and culture, while using the hotel just for sleep and breakfast.

Terrace is closed a bit early for persons who want to smoke after midnight. There could be lights on the terrace fore who want to read at night outside.

Very clean and nice hotel. Location is 5 minutes walk from the train station. Thanks a lot to the Stuff member who was on the reception during my stay for all his instructions and help with my luggage and especially thanks a lot for waiting me during my check-out, as I were 15 minutes late!

Professional, nice and helpful staff (fluent also in English, which unfortunately isn’t a standard in Florence), great location, clean and tidy rooms, satisfactory breakfast, v.good espresso.

“Smelly” neighborhood (for instance: kebab bar 24/7 in the closest vicinity makes it necessary to keep the window closed almost all day, fortunately air conditioning in rooms is very efficient + you’ll rarely spend a whole day in the hotel, won’t you?).
