Room was a great size with the bed on an upper level, nowhere unfortunately to sit if more than 1 person other than the bed was only 1 chair. Very clean room & bathroom within a great location to walk to all attractions. Breakfast was simple but fine, the coffee machine a little unreliable but was quickly rectified by the gentleman on service. The young man on Reception was very pleasant when we checked in. Good value for money for all round.

Quite a bit of noise coming from work happening in the garden courtyard area, not a problem for us as up early, but may not please everyone if wanting a long lie. Gent on breakfast could smile/chat a little more, as it wasn't the most welcoming for guests over Breakfast!

The location is perfect only 5 minutes walk from the railway station. and Room was very nice and clean I really like the view from the window which provides a beautiful picture Tuscany dwelling system and their tile roof design.

Breakfast was very low quality and the men's staff was looking at everything on every second which makes many peoples uncomfortable. I would agree with all the previous reviewers who mentioned this incident. Last day we decided to have breakfast outside at Shake café to avoid seeing the beautiful face of the staff in the very early morning.

I liked the staff most of all. Very very friendly and helpful. In regards to cleanliness, it was super clean I think it was the most clean I have seen in hotels.

The hotel is a little bit outdated decoration wise, and I think water could be included.

We loved staying here! Location was perfect. Very close to train station. The walk was 3 blocks. If you do any tours, a lot of them meet nearby. Room Was very comfortable. Clean every day with fresh towels. Staff very accommodating. Pretty outdoor to sit during breakfast. Wide variety for breakfast and fresh. The only reason I didn’t give a 10 is because there were 2 night where very loud guests were sitting outside talking very late at 1 am. My suggestion would be to place a sign which asks guests to be considerate and not loud past 10 pm. We would definitely stay again. We also liked that the hotel was away from the crowds and very good restaurants nearby.

Room was sometimes warm, but staff made it cooler after asking.

Hotel is near to many authentic but affordable Italian restaurants. Groceries nearby to some "snacks" shopping. 6. Simple but adequate breakfast banquet. 7. Air-conditioned. 8. Room is cleaned everyday.

1. WiFi is not working well. 2. Television is only with Italian Channels. 3. No glasses or plastics cups in the bathroom. Bring your own toiletries because their soaps are very small. 4. Thin walls. I can hear the neighbors chattering. 5. Mosquitoes visit - sometimes.

The staff was very accommodating. They got ice for me in the evenings when I requested it, ordered a cab for us for early morning pickup, and were always available when needed. Our room faced the back garden with a view of Fiesole which was wonderful. It was very quiet not being on the street. The included breakfast had so many options.

I liked the proximity to the train station when I arrived with my suitcases, but when walking the city I sometimes felt like it was far to get back. But really Florence isn’t that big so maybe just me being tired.

A wonderful location, quieter end of via Faenza, 24 hour Reception, and friendly staff. The 3rd floor terrace in particular, is such a hidden gem where you can hear the bells of the Medici and Lorenzo chapels pealing away in the distance. I loved every moment of my one month stay here, it’s the place to be while you are in Florence. There is plenty of choice for food, entertainment, ATM machines and markets, this was my special little corner in Florence.

It was perfect, the manager even let me check out a bit later so I could rest before my return journey home. All the staff were sweet and kind.

Location was great, a short walk to the Central Market. Longer walk to the galleries, churches and river, but still not too far. Close to railway station, so very handy for day trips on the wonderful Italian Railways. Nice area to sit outside by breakfast room. Huge choice at breakfast (some a bit weird - lots of sweets!). Had a massage which was just fabulous (for an extra payment, but well worth it)! Staff were very helpful with printing out tickets and getting taxis on rainy days.

The weather (nobody's fault)!

Great location and walking distance to all main attractions, train station and the bus tours. Breakfast was nice and enough, even though says it start at 7am we were walked in and had some food before 7am. Surrounded area felt safe to walk at night. House keeping wasn't very good. Requested for cleaning but didn't do anything. Front desk individuals are very nice and helpful. Coffee is available before breakfast. Nice and clean hotel worth the money for the stay. Highly recommend this place because of the location and prefer to stay here if we come back.

House keeping

Great location we stayed here for 6 nights in March for my partners 30Th birthday she loved it staff put a bottle of wine in room on arrival for a small charge lots of option's for breakfast buffet eggs , pizza , cereal yoghurts etc , coffee machine great. Good Size room large bed which was great as I'm 6ft2 sometimes find beds small room spotless regularly cleaned changed daily bedding u got Netflix etc in the room nice touch great power shower location 2 minutes from central bus n train station so u can get every where then you walk outside loads of bars and restraunts your right in the heart of this fantastic city so it may be a bit loud and rowdy for some , compared to some places nearby really expensive so we had a fair price staff were great always someone at the reception mostly family run and occasional language barrier issue but we're very helpful no issue's checking in early or late happy to help. We were so busy exploring so didn't get chance to use the spa sadly the theraphy etc are the standard price you'd expect. You can help yourself to coffee n drinks n biscuit in the day nice touch. Fridge with drinks and alcohol n snacks by reception all at a fair price if you wanted to quickly buy something going straight to your room thought there are bars next store and shops few doors away.Very quaint stylish hotel my favourite hotel out of several I've been to In Italy.
