The hotel was 5mn walk from the railway station / tram station and 10mn by foot to the Duomo. We had a 4 beds room, a king size and 2 single for 3 people. The room was very cleaned. Bed comfy. The room was nice and warm, very quiet. As stated by previous reviews, the bathroom is small but got what we needed, good hairdryer. Balcony . Breakfast had a good range of food, lovely fresh fruits, mini muffins / doughnuts which are nice for a little treat. The hotel stall were very helpful. We came to Florence last August for 5 days so stayed a little bit further afield, however for a short stay (2.5 days), the hotel is the ideal location, good price and most of it very cleaned and comfortable.

Clean and comfortable for us. Location to the train station was excellent as we were also meeting our tour group then hence this choice. Bit of a walk to the touristy spots but we enjoy walking and sightseeing so it didn't bother us at all.

You can hear the neighbours bathroom.

I wanted to stay near the station so in that respect it was ideal .If I was staying longer I would want a place nearer to the centre.

I wanted a cheap one night stay and was pleased with the cost of the room ,although the room was extra small. Booking .coms address was not in Italian the address I had was Via Cennini 4.There is no such place I got a kind lad on his phone to translate .It is turn left out of station .Cross over find BURGER KING and it is just around that corner .The address is via Bernardo .

The Hotel has a little run down feel to it, despite the cleaners best efforts. The room is very basic, minimal furniture and can be a little loud if facing the road

Location is great, super close to the train station and metro. 10 min walk from the duomo and major part of the city.

The only downside is that you have to leave the key at the desk every time you leave the room. I do understand tho. Also you can listen to the noise of other rooms / outside but if you are a heavy sleeper it won’t bother you :)

Close to the pick up point for tours, and within walking distance of most attractions. Pillows were nice and full. Bed was comfortable. There was a little bench in the bathroom to put toiletries or clean clothes. Good floor space for doing exercise.

The shower curtain was gross. Because of the air flow, it blows into your body while you’re showering, so you know that’s happening to everyone else too. That’s gross.

Excellent location, walking distance to all the attractions. Parking available, great bonus for Europe and so close to the old town. We received assistance to quickly obtain a waiver of ZTL upon arrival. Greatly appreciated. And you can leave without entering the ZTL as you leave the town. Breakfast was excellent. Our family loved it. Highly recommended. Also necessary to compliment the staff, everybody was always nice and helpful. I would certaily recommend the hotel.

Not much to complain about. Maybe some more electric plugs in the room. Nothing serious.

The hotel was opposite the main railway station so well located. An easy walk to Galleria del Accademia, and slightly further for the cathedral and bridge. Bedroom was spacious with firm beds. Water very hot.

Room heating unnecessarily had to be requested at reception. Buffet breakfast was basic continental style with coffee only available on the days we could find the barista. Similarly, staff not interested in clearing the tables.

We loved our time at this hotel. The room had a lot of character and the staff could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was lovely and the location was fantastic. About 3 mins walk from the train station and it was near all of the main attractions in Florence. The beds were very comfortable and it was really clean.

I would have liked colder air con in the room but it was August in Florence so probably not the hotel’s fault!

Great location. Hotel within 5 min-walking distance from the station and 10 mins to Duomo. Supermercato very close to the hotel. Clean and quiet rooms at the back. Breakfast was satisfactory in every way. The hotel met our expectations

Two annoying experiences: The taxi driver at the station whom we asked whether the hotel was within walking distance from the station SAID it was 10 mins by taxi and took us to the historical Palazzo Vecchio straight from the station with our suitcases, in stead of OUR Hotel and of course charged us....Very vexing....Secondly, there was no computer available to check our mail for a printout, where our pre-booked tickets for Uffizzi had been sent, and the staff on duty that morning weren't very helpful; the young lady wasnt very techno-savvy and the skillful young man at the computer didn't help with the technical difficulties to reach the website on our phones so we lost a lot of time in the morning, Later, he apologized and paid our taxi fee to the UFFIZZI.
