The hotel room was very well equipped, the water and tea making facilities were a welcome addition, shower was powerful and hot, the bed was very comfortable and a good size as I was sharing with my daughter. The lady on reception was very helpful and professional. The spa was a lovely way to nurse our sore muscles from walking. We would definitely stay again. Beautiful fireplace and very clean.

We were disappointed after booking 2 days in advance and choosing a time for the spa to have it to ourselves for my autistic daughter to feel comfortable, unbeknownst to us it was booked for another couple too so we had to miss out as my daughter couldn't cope

great location right next to piazza navona. you can walk the whole city by food, since everything is close by. room was really spacious and comfortable. good value for money!

you have to pay extra to enter the spa, which was not clear when we made the booking. we thought the price to enter the spa was too expensive

Staff attitude towards guests. We had just arrived in Rome and were tired and had checked in and gone to our room to sleep. And the check/in girl and her male colleague woke us up 5 times and demanded we came back downstairs to settle an outstanding payment (her mistake at check-in) or they would call the police!! This in our (my wife’s and my) view is totally unacceptable behaviour…..

Absolutely incredible location. Great spot in the heart of Rome, yet tucked in in the quiet spot. Still close by one of the most beautiful squares - piazza Navona, near delicious spots for a morning coffee & cornetto or a lunch or dinner! Highly recommended! Ps. The spa facilities are very cute ! After an active day, before dinner a session at sauna is very good option ! It adds to the overall experience! GREAT FOR A ROMANTIC GATEWAY!

What we didn’t like is the smell of the damp in the room on the ground floor. We understand that it’s closer to the ground and street, almost like in the basement- still with a cute window, so plenty of light ! But the smell was something that bothered me a bit - and maybe potentially could be done something about it.

I booked this hotel for my boyfriends 30th birthday so asked if they could do something special and they definitely did! Paid a bit extra to get some prosecco and chocolates with rose petals when we checked in. I would highly recommend pre booking the spa as it only fits about 4 people at one time, but it's definitely worth it. We thoroughly enjoyed coming back after walking around all day and relaxing in the pool and sauna. We stayed in a double room and there was plenty of space for us and our stuff- didnt note any noise from reception like others noted. Great location, short walk from most areas. Also worth noting they recommended a few restuarants and we went to 2 of them and they were very tasty! Good water pressure in the shower.

Only thing I would say is we didnt need the full 1hr30min- a 45min slot was plenty of time, and would allow for more people to book it throughout the day. Room could do with another mirror.

This is just a gorgeous small hotel in an amazing area. We had a wonderful room that was very large, with plenty of great wardrobe and storage area, a small fridge, basic tea coffee, and a massive bathroom. We did not book this hotel for the spa nor did we use it. It is a small pool in the basement but really, for us wasn't the highlight of this wonderful little hotel ! The little recommendation page ( incl local laundry) provided at check-in was great.

We would love to have had the offer of two keys on check-in, as one is needed to run the power in the room, so one person cannot leave without the other being left without power. A small plate, bowl, and basic cutlery would have been great for small snacks but not essential.

Understandable we’re in the middle of Rome. We had a rental car, and getting to the physical location was difficult.

I would stay there again. It is spotless and clean, has friendly staff, and has an excellent location on the side street, which means no sound of passing cars. It is close to the main locations, with a good shower and a quiet air conditioner. Very cosy interior. It's probably the cleanest hotel I have stayed, and it's not easy to clean old buildings with natural materials. Overall very present stay and I would recommend this hotel

It's ok for me, but the building is old, and the stairs are steep. I think there is an elevator. I never used it. Soundproofing is consistent with the age of the building. You will hear customers moving above or next to your room in other rooms or corridors. I think it comes with the territory of building age, and I was ok with it. It has the loudest kettle I ever used. It will wake others in the room if you try to make coffee and boil water
