Room has the best bed I have ever sleep on. Location is perfect, you can go to the most important places in Rome on foot. Room was well maintained, cleaned everyday. We had fresh, hot croissants EVERYDAY for free, free water and in the fridge there were cans of beer, cola/fanta and prossecco. It is on 4th floor, you can go by lift and we had the most romantic view of the street on the balcony. Everything was perfect!

There are no minuses.

The location is perfect, the best you can get really. The room was pretty, spacious and clean, the beds were comfy. No noise from the street or other rooms. We enjoyed the breakfast, especially the excellent coffee. Staff was extremely helpful! Thank you for that! I have been in Rome many times and this is was my favourite accommodation so far.

Location is fantastic, and staff very helpful and quick to reply to any inquires. Even though we didn’t stay at the Minerva Relais, I would still recommend.

when my booking was confirmed, I received several messages from the hotel inquiring when we would be checking in. As we were coming from the Amalfi coast, I wasn’t quite sure exactly what time we would arrive. When I replied after two I received very straightforward directions on how to find a hotel and access my room is checking close at 1 PM. It was a bit like the Amazing Race, OK I like a good adventure. The disappointing part was you’re not staying in the hotel you’re staying in someone’s flat that’s been renovated. Ground floor has a small flight of steps to go up which are not accessible by lift. In short, had I known, I would’ve been prepared.

What an amazing find! cute, cosy, quirky hotel in a fabulous location. Valentina on reception was delightful, friendly, super informative about visiting the city and surrounding areas and truly couldn’t do enough for us whenever asked. Thank you! Room 403 was very clean, comfortable bed, practical shower room with toiletries and lovely Juliette balcony. Crossiants were hung on your door every morning, nice touch. Coffee/tea facilities provided in room along with free water and replenished every day! Wonderful stay :))

When other guests didn’t close the internal doors to the lift meant having to climb up stairs in the evening, not the end of the world but if you were arriving with suitcases would have been a problem. The internal walls connecting the bedrooms are very thin so could hear other people’s conversation, coughing and alarms going off as early as 5am! Admittedly more guest issues than the hotel as they do ask politely to close all doors to the lifts but guess fellow guests do not read signs!

The property was in an excellent location, not far from any major landmark. There were a ton of restaurants in the vicinity as well, a police station, pharmacy, ATM, etc. Highly recommend to anyone that wants to book a stay and tour Rome on foot. The receptionist was extremely helpful, he provided us with a map and highlighted some of the best places to have breakfast, lunch and dinner. As for the room, it was extremely spacious. The bed was beyond comfortable, sheets and towels were replaced every day. The bathroom was quite big, the shower was spacious as well. A hair dryer and robes were provided as well in addition to other amenities such as shower gel, shower caps, etc. Since our stay was during valentine’s day, they even brought us some complementary heart shaped cookies which was super sweet. Overall, it was a lovely stay at Minerva Relais, I would definitely book this room again should I ever plan another visit to Rome.

Initially, as you enter the property it throws you a bit off. It is a building full of apartments. The room we booked was within one of the many apartments of the building. Additionally, the elevator was quite small and at times frustrating to use. We booked our stay with breakfast included, however, when we got to the apartment we were told at the reception that the kitchen was under maintenance and therefore we could not have the breakfast. Thankfully, they gave us a full refund for the breakfast without any arguments - the receptionists were extremely nice and helpful.

The hotel was different from my expectations, however it was great compared to most typical European hotels. It made provisions for self check in which was simple. The location is fantastic. Walking distance from many historic sights. There are some nice boutique shops around as well. Food locations are not lacking. The breakfast was not as expected since I am picky eater. There is variety of options, hot and cold. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel and will use when I return to Rome.

The room could have done with a bit more light for me. Otherwise I did not have anything that I did not like. It's a good place to stay when visiting.

Excellent location- close to Pantheon and walkable to Trevi. The triple room was extremely comfortable. The double rooms were also good though one had a very small bathroom, and honestly did not feel worthy of a double room. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Easy to get taxis to and from the property. Kids were thrilled to see some snacks in the room upon checkin.

Would suggest adding several more hooks in the bathrooms to hang towels and clothes.

Minerva Relais was located in a good spot, 4 minutes walk away from the Pantheon and 6 minutes walk away from the Trevi Fountain. The hotel rooms were nice, valentina was fantastic and very helpful. I liked the fact that they would hang a bag of croissants on your room door every morning which was nice.

There's nothing that I didn't like, everything was great.

Great location! Within walking distance to all the major tourist attractions, including Vatican City (but that may depend on personal preference to take the 30+ min walk). The rooms were spacious and comfortable. There was daily room service and bottles of water provided.

The door lock to open our room door was often stuck and often needed several goes to get it to open. It was not a big issue for us, but would be worth fixing for the ease of future visitors.
