Typical Main Street building with huge old front doors, secure apartment and 2 step entry to the B&B. Lovely lady, helpful and kind, patient with our poor Italian and very well spoken English. Friendly, welcoming, clean and modern reception. Also had CCTV. A few flights of stairs up, fine for us but good to be clear for other visitors.

The rooms were clean to use but not over all deep cleaned in that there is mould around, areas worn and general up keep is basic. Of note, Our room had a window to the courtyard but no opening window as such but the air con was sufficient- even in the hot early August temperatures.

Location was amazing, not far to the colosseum and a terrific grocery store called Elite. There is a small refrigerator in the room and it was perfect for keeping water, yogurt and fruit cold. The staff was friendly, helpful and responsive when our a/c needed attention. There is a laundromat a couple doors down and the other direction a train stop at the intersection, so you could easily get around by train.

The property is typical of most older properties in Italy, it has some mold. We have lived in Italy so I understand it is normal - it may be off-putting to people unfamiliar, so I thought I’d mention it. I’m glad we stayed here. It felt- for a couple of days- like we were locals. That makes me happy 🙂

We really enjoyed staying at Re Monti! David and his colleague were very friendly and helpful, the location is very good, the room was nice, spacious and clean. The breakfast was ok. Thanks for the hospitality.

It was a bit noisy with street noise at night and the old plumbing (shower and toilet flush) could be updated easily (an external tank for the toilet and a vertical support rod for the shower head to adjust the height). The pillows were very flat.

Excellent value for money. Very close to main train station, colosseum and many other attractions. Walkable to most of the attractions. Located near to metro and bus stop for travel within Rome. Comfortable room with all basic amenities. Friendly and accommodating hosts. Simple breakfast.

The WC makes noise when water is refilled (not bad per se but not usual either). Would still recommend a stay here..

Amazingly central location - we literally walked everywhere we wanted to go, including the Collosseum, Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon... The staff are really friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond to assist us in liaising with the airline who had left our luggage behind in Paris.

Some mould in the bathroom wasn't too great.

Location is really good, we walked everywhere. We didn’t hear noice from the street. There were sweets from bakery (croissants with apricot, pudding, cream), good, tasty coffee, joghurt, eggs that you can boil, toast bread Nutella and jelly, still and sparkling water also was there for free. There was a fridge in the room but one day we didn’t have hot water.

Low water pressure in the shower, one day cold water only.

Depends what you are looking for… if it’s sightseeing and wondering on the streets, it’s the best place especially if you don’t plan on staying in the room too much, close to the main objectives.

Some people will find the room / bathroom small but it’s more common then one would think.

Nice location. Few hundred mts from colosseum. Hotel located centrally & walkable from roma terminal but metro still available(1 stop from roma terminal). Host was very good. He guided with all the information to reach the hotel safely & helped with the details to explore the city & nearest best restaurants etc. Happy with the breakfast & the room. We kept our luggage at the hotel after the checkout which allows us to roam around the city before catch our next train.

There is nothing that we didn't like.

Everything was perfect - beds were comfortable, the room and whole location was very clean, our hostess was extremely helpful and nice,the coffee and breakfast were delicious. The location is amazing - 2 min walk from subway and 8 min walk from colloseum.

comfortable bed, very good power shower. hosts kept in contact over WhatsApp with info about how to check in and they helped with all our questions

no view from the window but that didn’t matter as we were out early every morning and site seeing in Rome all day
