Great breakfast beautiful room next to the Duomo parking arrangements a breeze. Don’t hesitate to book it.

Martina was probably the best part about the place. She was willing to go above and beyond to answer any questions, or book anything that you needed. Her service was like having a very talented concierge at a 5-star hotel. Also, the collective breakfast table and nice selection of food was very nice.

All of the rooms are great, but our room was maybe just a tad small for two people staying for four days. We would stay at Maeco again, but we would ask for one of the other rooms.

Perfectly situated in the heart of Ortigia, and steps away from Piazza del Duomo, the location offers unparalleled convenience. The room is modern, spacious and boasts impeccable decoration, reflecting attention to detail, and a remarkable level of cleanliness. The modern bathroom maintains the same high standards of cleanliness. What truly sets this place apart is the exceptional hospitality of Martina and her team. Their warmth and friendliness made us feel like cherished guests in their home. They graciously assisted us with all our needs and went above and beyond by providing insightful recommendations for local attractions and dining establishments. Our stay here was a harmonious blend of comfort, and genuine hospitality.

Perfect place to stay in Syracuse Martina and Alessia and all staff were so helpful and welcoming. Alessia is our hero. She helped us with our lost luggages. The room was very nice and clean with all the extras you need. B&B is in a perfect location to explore Ortigia and Syracuse. We definitely would recommend this B&B to everyone going to Syracuse.

Nothing, everything was perfect!

A beautiful B&B in the central historic area of Ortigia close to all the main sights. Martina & Julia were wonderful hosts and so hospitable. Even before we met them, they messaged us really helpful information re: parking & arrival to the area.On arrival we had a lovely welcome & were given a tourist/ sightseeing map & were given info on things to do/ see.Our double room with ensuite bathroom was gorgeous & a good size- very boutique style. Our room had a balcony overlooking the pretty street, but it wasn't noisy. The whole property was immaculately clean.Breakfast is served in a lovely dining room & the food variety on offer was superb and included ; local pastries, cakes, breads, cheese, fruit , yoghurt, cereals, eggs, tea, coffee/ capuccino etc.There was just such attention to detail with everything from the table settings to the interior decor & the complimentary chocolates/ liquers were a nice touch too.We would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat and 100% recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Syracuse/ Ortigia.Many thanks! 😊

We absolutely loved this place! Probably the best we've had in 10 days of our Sicily tour!! The location is right in the center of Isola Ortigia, in a historical building, yet new, modern, 5-star facility, owned and run by Martina and her colleague Nastassia. So beautiful, so clean, so fresh, full of light, amazing and rich fresh breakfast.. The parking valet was arranged in advance and worked very well. Will definitely plan to return to Maeco B&B! Thank you Martina, thank you Nastassia :)

Nothing at all!

-Amazing location right next to the piazza. I don’t know how, but the room was so well isolated that you couldn’t hear anything from outside -Nastassia was an amazing hostess who took the time to give us all the information of Ortigia, what we could do, where should we go, amazing restaurants to go eat -Room was gorgeous and clean -Breakfast was amazing, you had yogurt, fruits, pastries and you can ask for eggs as you like them We will definitely be going back on our next trip to Ortigia. I highly recommend you won’t regret it !!!

Our room was rather large with a big bathroom. The large window could be covered for the nights to screen the morning light. Breakfasts were excellent even if the limit of two cappuccinos per person is a bit strange. Mine were small so I asked for another one... 2euros. We joked about it. The location is absolutely great. But if you arrive by car, a meeting with a man who parks your car in a remote location must be arranged. He takes the car away and brings it back when you need it. It cost 25 euros per day.

There are good restaurants nearby.

Wonderful location. Kind and helpful hosts. Perfect breakfast. Very clean and well appointed. Great restaurant recommendations. We are glad they arranged the transfer service when we left. It rained quite a bit when we were there. It was very nice to be in the historic center and be able to stop back during the rain.

The hotel could not have been in a better location. It is a beautiful hotel, very clean, staff is great and the breakfast was delicious. Another small bonus is that cold water was provided at all times. This was great in the hot Italian weather.

None of these items would AT ALL prevent us from staying in this hotel again but could be helpful to know. 1. You have to reserve your time for breakfast (i.e. 8:30 or 9:30). Not a huge deal but we would have preferred to not be on a schedule. To their credit. They let us come at an in between time our first day (9:00) and said we didn't need to the second day because they weren't busy. 2. There is a resident in another part of the building who lets their dog poop in the courtyard. (over and over again). The hotel staff, unfortunately for them, was very quick to clean it up and definitely annoyed by it but it did leave the courtyard smelling like dog poop most of the time.
