Crowded and no table was laid for our family group of 11 - waiters were good and friendly

The mosquitoes were really bad and I asked for the room to be sprayed after a really bad night - we were all badly bitten and the rooms were not sprayed - also the beds were not comfortable

Location was perfect for us--between San Marco and the Rialto. Breakfast buffet was outstanding. Service throughout the hotel--including the front desk, breakfast room, and cleaning staff--were warm and very helpful. I loved having a view of the canal from my room (though there were noisy service boats coming through early in the morning).

Lodging in Venice is expensive! We spent much more than we usually do. The room looked bigger in the pictures (I guess they always do!). We were on the 3rd floor, where the ceilings are not as high as on the lower floors.

Location ideal midway between San Marks Square and Rialto bridge. Room was good size and reasonably appointed. Breakfast selection and quality was very good and replenished quickly, when required. Tables cleared promptly and dining room and reception staff very helpful and obliging. Storage of luggage after check out was available and secure. Lift available to upper floors. Well appointed bathroom with large shower. Fresh flowers filled the reception area with pleasant aroma of lilies.

Rooms located on the same side as hotel reception entrance (101, 102), were susceptible to street noise quite late pre-midnight. Television had limited English channels and not as listed. On occasions toilet flush would continue to run, noisy and wasted water (reported and attempts made to resolve). The dining room round table layout made seating for 4 people at a table a little cramped.

The room was very spacious. Clean beyond my expectations. Considering it is a 5 floor hotel (I think) it was unbelievably quiet. We went to bed early each night and didn't hear a thing. And breakfast! I avoid gluten and dairy so my expectations are pretty low. I was astounded at the choices I had. Eggs, fresh fruit, gluten free bread. It was amazing! The shower worked very well. The desk staff were very helpful in organizing a trip to Murano and in providing directions and recommendations for dinner.

Nothing really - they don't provide face cloths but I think that is normal in Europe.

the location was fantastic and the breakfast was delicious with lots of choice even hot food. the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially April and Kamil.

Amazing hotel! Cute venetian style, very clean, amazing sufficient breakfast , very polite and helpful staff. Special thank you from my husband for making eggs the way he wanted for breakfast 😅 I’m always picky about plumbing and bathrooms in general and in our room everything was perfect. No leaking, perfectly working water mixer, strong pressure in the shower. Housekeeping did an amazing job. The small table outside with canal view was my favorite. Would stay in this hotel again. No smell or noise from outside, very warm, cozy and soundproof rooms.

This is a good hotel very well located in San Marco district at midi-distance between Rialto bridge and Piazza San Marco. There are plenty of restaurants and shops in the vicinity. The rooms overlooking the canals around the hotel are very nice and elegantly decorated. However, they are of unequal sizes. Ask for the larger rooms if they are available. The staff is generally friendly and helpful.

The large beds are actually not large beds but twin beds close to each other. However, they put a quite thick topper on them and the false large beds are quite comfortable. The air conditioning and heating system does not work well and the temperature in the rooms is a bit low. Do not hesitate to ask to increase it. The breakfast is correct. The cakes are defrosted but the croissants are excellent. There is a lack of products at the beginning of the service and some products, such as fruits, are not renewed, which is not acceptable given the price of the room which is very high. This very high price is common in Venice.

The room was big and beutiful. the location is great, very close to san marko and Rialto (for transportation in and out of the island) The breakfast was very good, had a variety of different foods.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Hotel Bella Venezia! It is a beautiful hotel in a fantastically central location - very close to the Palazzo Ducale. We booked a room with a canal view and it was perfect - we loved looking out the window at the Gondolas going by below. The room itself was beautifully clean, very comfortable and spacious. The staff were wonderful and friendly, and perfectly happy to go the extra mile. It was a special trip for my husband's 'big 0' birthday, so I'd asked for them to arrange a wee surprise bottle in our room, which they did and didn't even charge us for. It wasn't the cheapest option in Venice but I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

The only one thing I can fault is the shower as it was a bit erratic - sometimes it had a good flow, but then reduced down to a trickle before coming good again. However, we were on the 3rd floor and I imagine pumping water round buildings in Venice is a bit tricky! We found it funny and, as long as you are prepared to wait a few seconds, you will get a nice hot shower.
