This place is a little gem just a 2 minute walk from Accademia bridge (best view of Venice!) but off the beaten track. It's a 5 minute walk from the shops and less than 15 minutes to San Marco Square. Kitchen is shared and although bathrooms are separate from your apartment, they are private. It truly lived up to its "quiet haven" expectations. We were a family of 5 and the large accommodation was perfect, with enough room for us to spread out comfortably. It was so nice to escape the busy summer Venetian streets and relax in the tranquil garden. It felt like coming home! There is no 24hour reception so arrival needs to be communicated but Christina is very welcoming and explained lots to us that made our stay in Venice even more fun, like how to get to the Lido, (worth a visit!). The closest plazza, Campo Santo Stefano, is lovely and quiet and offered up some lovely restaurants. If your budget allows try the Florentine steak at the Guna restaurant! We would without hesitation stay in Venezia Naturalmente again.

No air conditioning

The location was excellent and easy to get in and out and walk to all the attractions. The room was lovely with high ceilings and spacious and beautifully decorated. The outside area was spacious and private and the lounge area was comfortable. The kitchen had a huge fridge for guests and all amenities needed to cook and prepare food. The owners were very nice people and wrote very good instructions for getting to the villa.

The bathroom was shared which is all good but the toilet is in the bathroom and so with several guests this can mean quite a wait in the evening to use the toilet. The bedroom was quite hot but because of the huge windows cooled down by the morning. There were two fans supplied to cool the room but they were quite noisy, though fine with ear plugs.

Christina at Venezia Naturalmente has a huge heart and a wonderful garden. Set in a fabulous location... the lovely garden backs on to a waterway. On the second night I stayed there was a vibrant music night in the garden with fantastic ambience. I was welcomed like one of the family but also had the space to do my own thing. For a solo female traveller I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay... I had a great time exploring Venice and came back to a lovely homely vibe at the end of the day.

The location of the property is perfect, it’s a little hard to find for me in the beginning, just follow google maps, and stick to the street number, you will be fine. It’s close to Accademia bridge, so you can hop on and off the public transportation on the river quite easily. You can also walk to most of the attractions in a short time. restaurants, bars, and shops are just around the corner. The owner of property, Christina is a very nice lady, she’s very helpful! Overall, I highly recommend this property to budget travellers!

Amazing location (5 minutes by foot to Academia bridge). The hostel itself is great! The vibe is good and you feel welcome since the first minute. There is a nice garden, a kitchen to cook, many bathrooms (and well cleaned)... The room was big and the lockers were also huge and with a key. The host was super friendly, I could leave my luggage there early and start visiting the city by 9.30am. Also, it was easy to get a boat from there to Tronchetto bus station. I only stayed there one night, but I would definitely recommend it for long stays. The price is more than fair.

the place is really very nice and cozy, has a great location to explore the city without staying in the most touristy crowded parts. My most favorite part was the garden which is really a nice, quiet place to relax!

The only thing which I did not like was the bed with a very uncomfortable, soft mattress and at times making squeaky sounds when i moved, but a better mattress would solved this. Unfortunately, the rooms have no air conditioning, only 2 big fans which needed to be turned on all the time including during the night. but considering that it was extremely hot and very humid, it was ok.

Facility was easily located using Google maps once dropped off by the water taxi. We were delayed in arrival and they stayed to make sure we were met in person and taken care of. The location is very central to many sites and a close walk to water shuttle access points.

I absolutely loved my stay at Venezia Naturalmente - I was a tad nervous about hostelling at the age of 62 as a solo female traveller but I felt so relaxed - no bunk beds, huge locker wardrobes, and a really friendly owner. Very close to Academia Bridge and within walking distance of all the main sites - plus the vaporetta stop was a short strol from the hostel. I really enjoyed having my breakfast in the garden - such a peaceful haven - with a lovely hammock swing in which to relax. 45 years ago my parents would not let me go hostelling alone in Italy - this was my very overdue rebellion and the start of a 5 week solo tour of north and central Italy. A totally relaxing start to my holiday. Thank you x

I thought I would be uncomfortable sharing a room and bathroom but had no problems whatsoever and met some really lovely fellow travellers from France and Spain. There was absolutely nothing that I didn't like.

Great value for money, a whole wardrobe to store even your suitcase, towel included, great location, shared kitchen and a lovely terrace.

No air conditioner. Couple of fans for 4 people within the room. I needed an extra night in this hostal because of a train time change and they did never reply to me neither through the website nor through Booking, so I had to book another way more expensive night elsewhere. Please, for future times, improve your communication and reply back even if it's to tell the guest all rooms are sold out.

It’s a old historic building so it’s cold but comfy. There’s decent showers in the bathroom and a kitchen where you can store your own food, cook and eat or use the yard to have a morning coffee. The dorm rooms and beds are fine for the price. You get your own cabinet where you can store your stuff and valuables. Also the hostess and her daughter are friendly so all and all it’s good value for money.

It was a bit weird that the dorm door wasn’t locked all the time but the building and our own cabinets were so I guess that was okay. It was also still cold in April so remember your wool socks!
