Love the wide hallways and easy access to room. Love the patio and pool area, the view of the mountains is beautiful. The size of the room was great. Easy parking and entry to building.

Carpet in the room was not clean and really worn. Areas in the bathroom had not been thoroughly cleaned. Water was very hard and drying to skin. TV picture was dark and hard to see at times. Facility just needs some updates- the basics are good.

i loved the view and the outside dining overlooking the pool. The rooms were very spacious with a big closet. water pressure was great. Love the couch area it also had. desk area had a nice office chair.

the Toilet was small and too low. Carpet do not like carpet and stains. lately the hotels i've been staying have faux wooden floors. Also couch could be faux leather or real. But at least you can wipe it down couch had a small stain.

I WAS VERY PLEASNTLY SURPISED BY OUR STAY HERE. WE STAYED AS A HALF WAY MARK ON OUR JOURNEY NORTH FORM FLORIDA. VERY CLEAN, 5 STARS! STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. ROOM WAS EXCELLENT, BED WAS VERY COMPFORTABLE. I WILL STAY HERE AGAIN. EXCELLEN PLACE TO STAY WITH A DOG, LOTS OF AREAS TO EXCERSIES THEM ON A ROAD TRIP. POOL LOOKED VERY NICE. BREAKFAST WAS PROBABLY THE ONLY DOWN SIDE, ONLY A 3, IT WAS A HOT BREAKFAST, BUT THERE WASNT ANYTHING OUT WHEN WE ARRIVED TO THE LOBBY THAT WAS WARM. THEY COULD HAVE MONITORED THAT BETTER.

BREAFST COULD HAVE BEEN MONITORED BETTER. THERE WERE NO EGGS OR WARM FOOD LEFT AT 8.00AM? SEEMS STRANGE.

Breakfast was awesome. Location was nice however away from main roanoke city. Salem itself isn't a very big city but people are very friendly.

Extended checkout should be available with payment, Hotel lobby should also have a restroom. Easier garbage disposal.

What I liked about it was the location, I had a drs appointment at LewisGale. The staff was all so very friendly and welcoming.

There is only one thing that I didn't care too much for, and that was the beds. They could be a little more softer, but overall, I will be staying there again.

The coffee on the breakfast bar was excellent. The staff at the front desk was very helpful. The mountain view from our window was breathtaking. The heater/air conditioner kept our room cozy, although it did make a periodic clicking noise that was startling. There was plenty of parking. It was easy to get to the hotel from the interstate. There are tons of things to do nearby. There are lots of restaurants of every variety. There were tons of coffee/tea portions in the room ( 4 coffee, 3 tea).for our all-day-long coffee Jones. Despite the fact that there was a semi-professional hockey team in the hotel, the sleeping space was surprisingly quiet all night long.

At the breakfast bar, we had the bran muffins. they were dry and hard to swallow. There was no fresh fruit, no granola bars. No bacon or sausage.....sigh. The powdered creamer in the room was yucky. A much better choice would be shelf-stable liquid creamers. No refrigeration and long shelf life. 100% better-tasting coffee.

Desk admin Chris (3pm-11am) was very friendly when I called ahead to see if the pool was open (bc let’s be honest, the pool is important!) and he was quite cordial, knowledgeable and helpful (and seemed to be glad to be there and able to help out - and just did the thing for the brief interaction or was THE WAY it should be done. Not extraordinary or anything (bc that would probably be weird) but just the way things should be handled (opinion coming from somebody with a customer srvc background). And was equally efficient and cordial when dealing with him at the desk. Nice layout and amenities. And nice balcony overlooking the pool and grounds. Peaceful as well.

it was perfect location for where I needed to be on this work trip. room was super clean and well taken care of

hum breakfast could be better. I mean who runs out of milk and just doesn’t go to store and get some. I get Covid but I been to a lot hotels lately and even over the last year and most have been back full swing with breakfast. hello most staff aren’t even wear a mask so I no excuse tonight have full breakfast.

room needed some talc. only one towel hook in the bathroom that was broken. couch had crumbs or powder on it. hair and dust behind bathroom door. dust , a lot , on the bedside lampshade. carpet was pretty beet up. sorry, but it was quite noticeable.

The breakfast could have a bit more options.
