it was close to everything.

we had to flush the toilet 4 or 5 time every time we used the bathroom.

Great location, at proximity of hotspots, beach, restaurants, convention center, etc. It was so nice benefiting from the resort facility granting free chairs and towels at the beach. Free bike ride was splendid.

Room needs much more light. I couldn't frankly work at night. some more maintenance here and there could be needed as well.

Spacious and quiet room with private bathroom with shower, multiple towels, hair-dryer and free accessories. Balcony with pool view. Good wifi connection throughout the day. Possibility of leaving luggage at counter after check-in.

I would have preferred tiles to carpet in the room for cleanliness reasons. The lighting was not ideally placed to work at the desk in the room.

The lobby and pool area/bar

The construction that was going on at the property. Too much noise happening first thing in the morning waking you up out your sleep. Credit card was charged 2 more times after check in to where my back restricted and then blocked my card from use. I had to find my bank and get a whole new card while on vacation. Hotel staff couldn’t tell you the reason why my card kept being charged different amounts and why so many times after I already paid for my stay.

good location in the quit end of South Beach but with beach, restaurants shopping and main attraction within walking distance. great hotel with good facilities and some of the best employees I experienced this summer in US. got an few hours free early check-in with complementary water/water bottles and cookies and on the day of leaving you can stay until you have to go and store your luggage with the concierge while using the pool/restroom.

not much to the price vs value - notice that weekends are way busier than weekdays = busy staff, pool area etc.

the room for the first night was bad, there was a concrete wall in front of the windows and no daylight was in the room???

Clean hotel… Lovely pool area and gym. Bar service at pool was good. DJ and other activities on during the day like Henna tattoos and salsa dancing. chairs on beach free of charge was great.. make sure to pay additional money for umbrella as very hot

Check in was stressful as our card wasn’t working (travelling abroad our card company was unreliable which I get is our own fault) but receptionist could have been more empathetic and helpful…

The Gates hotel has incredible facilities, loved the pool area, overlooking charming palm trees. The staff was extremely helpful at reception. They answered all my questions and had great tips for restaurants. I have to say my favourite activities were yoga and salsa dancing 💃🏼 classes on the weekend! Thank you for my wonderful stay.

Some of the rooms look into a wall or on the top of the roof. I’m a person who likes nice views so they were able to switch me to another room. Thank you! Also I was looking for the breakfast buffet they used to have.

Everything. I loved everything from the time we walked in until the time of check out. The receptionist AKIBRA she was personal she remembered my name and that made me comfortable with being there. I didn’t have any issues with getting housekeeping when scheduled. Room service was great. The. view was amazing. The room was cleaned and comfortable. The food was good and the drinks was great. I would definitely book again. Any time I visit out of town I don’t like to stay in hotels long and ready to go home after 2days but I did not want to leave. Might make Miami my new home after this great visit.

Only thing I wasn’t aware of which was at a majority all hotel restaurants was the 18% service charge on top food tax drink tax and gratuity. But that didn’t ruin our stay at all.

It was great Hilton experience as usual. Very friendly accommodative stuff. Nice restaurant "Ola", quiet location was perfect. Room is simple and has everything we need.

If next time stay there better to book a room with balcony. Feel sad we stayed here just for one night. But overall experience was great! Thank you
