Walking distance from Kyoto station. Spacious room and bathroom (for Japan), even though there was no view from the window. Close to several bus routes. (Get a bus route map at the tourist office in the station. Buses are easy to use.)

The lack of a reception desk: the automated system worked well, and in fact there was someone there to help me, but you have to wait to receive the required codes. I strongly prefer hotels with reception desks and wish that booking.com would make it very clear when one is booking a hotel without one.

Location was OK - about a 10 minute walk from Kyoto Station, so long as you came out of the same exit every time…which never happened! Quiet neighbourhood with some decent restaurants a short walk away - downtown is a good 30 minute walk away. Room was spacious enough for two people.

The beds were definitely on the hard side! Also, I’m not sure why you would have an internal smoking room on the ground floor near the entrance when outdoors is 10 steps away. Residual smoke stank out the ground floor and was quite offensive.

It was close to Kyoto station and nestled within residential houses so was in a quiet location. There was no key for the door (a keypad number) which was brilliant - one less thing to keep track of! It was clean and there were spare toiletries in the hotel entrance available to take if needed.

The room was small as most hotels seem to be; we also had had three to a room: it would be better with two of course, and there was no wardrobe. With three large suitcases this proved a bit tricky although they could be stored under the bed so we managed- a minor problem in the scale of things.

Nice and clean room really good bathroom. There is a room in the ground floor with laundry facilities, microwave and water dispenser. The rooms are locked with passcode. Close to the Kyoto station, Umeji Kyotonishi JR station and bus stops.

No cleaning service so the trash keeps getting stacked inside the room. Also you need to get the fresh towels from the first floor. Which is usually not available except morning.

Spacious comfortable room. Quiet location. Spotlessly clean like all the accommodations we stayed in in Japan. A budget option and it certainly met my expectations.

It’s a reasonably long walk from the station with luggage or in the rain ( Take the 205 bus from the north end of the street). The neighbourhood is quiet but there’s not a lot around in terms of eating options. It’s an automated check in/check out system which helps to explains the budget price but it’s an impersonal place.

The location is close to Kyoto station and it was in a quiet area. The self service was interesting and made it easy to check in and out. It was nice that there was a laundry room to use. Electric plugs in the room are well situated near the bed.

Rooms are a bit small, but it's not unusual for the area, I would say it was a bit more roomy than like an APA hotel. Not really a complaint, just something to note since it would be difficult if you have a lot of luggage or need space.

It looks very new and the place is very modern looking. Facilities are good for the price we paid. The Kyoto Accomodation Tax took us by surprise though, I think there wasn't any warning about that. The staff were very attentive whenever they were at the front desk.

The storage for the luggage is a bit too public in the front desk, but I guess it is their perogative on how they allow customers to store their baggage outside of check in and check out time

It was good for a short stay. It's close enough to the station to be convenient, but not so close as to be noisy. It's in a bit more of a residential area. There's a convenience store and a bus stop nearby, too. The bathroom had a good layout and used space well. It didn't feel cramped like a lot of smaller hotel bathrooms can. The bath and shower were comfortable, even for a tall person like myself.

I was on the first floor, and my window looked out to a cement wall. Haha. It didn't matter much to me personally, given my short stay, but I guess it's something other guests might want to be aware of. I also found the keypad check-in to be a little troublesome because I couldn't load the email with my code. Luckily, there happened to be a staff member there who saw me outside the door, and he was very helpful.

Nice place, cozy, clean and good value for your money. Rooms are small but enough for us to move around and unpacked our stuff. staff are accommodating and helpful during our check in.

The location was a bit far but it was a good exercise though, we went to wrong hotel at first because we thought that it was the exact location based on the map, but we were eventually redirected by the staff.

First of all, the staffs were very kind. Even though I was late for the check in, they let me know how to get into the room and other matters I need to know. The laundromat in the hotel and the smoking room were clean and convenient. The room was spacious enough for one person.
