Location. You can walk to the station . The best way to find the hotel is to take the same street like the tower hotel. Will take only 5 to reach the hotel.

I get one room that was very dirty , I was in the reception and the visit the room and was agree with me. They change my room.

3-star hotel with facilities and service comparable to 5-star hotels in other countries. I love that they have their own onsen and that all their hotels are strategically located in accessible places. Their complimentary toiletries and room supplies are also of good quality. They also have a self check-out option so you can just drop your keycards if you don't have additional charges to settle. Great value for money!

Not complaining but just wanted to share some feedback. Our room was a bit dusty so my husband had to take meds everyday because he gets allergy attacks. I don't have allegies but I also sneeze once in a while when I'm inside the room. I feel like the room might not have been occupied for a while? Even the glasses have a bit of dust and lint on them. Our overall stay was great though :)

The rooms are just like all the other APA hotels, really nice bed, a super clean bathroom and the hotel staff are always happy to help, the location was perfect to explore Kyoto, it's a 2-3 minute walk to Kyoto station, the Kyoto tower is just across from the station as well, lots of night life around the area. Just be careful with the Hotel name, there are at least 4 Apa hotels around and this one is behind another APA hotel, which is you are not careful you can easily get to the wrong one (at least that's what happened to use on check-in day)

Impeccable standards, rooms are spotless, I’ve read review of people complaining about the size of the room, I really don’t know what it is they’re expecting, ok they’re not gigantic but who needs that? Plenty of space for a solo traveler or couple. Makes perfect sense that this is one of, if not the leading hotel chain in Japan. Would stay again in a heartbeat, you can have confidence in this hotel.

Not much really, maybe an earlier check in time but I’m being picky, it’s a really good solid hotel.

The location is great which is located beside Isetan JR Kyoto Station. Bed is comfy and facilities are well prepared. This hotel has reasonable price. There is a specialty coffee Kurasu in front of the hotel. I recommended to try!

I don't like the soundproof of the room. It is very noisy if your neighborhoods make noise on the wall and the hotel maid will started to clean the area and room from 9 AM which is very noisy outside the room and you can hear it on the bed. The hotel name is very similar to another the APA hotel which is closed to the JR Kyoto Station than this APA Hotel Kyoto-eki Horikawa-Dori. You need to carefully noticed the name of the hotel.

Location was outstanding - close to train/bus and to shopping, restaurants, etc. Reasonable price. We pd for a couple of b'fasts - excellent buffet! Onsen with a view of the sky - a nice little bonus!

Room was well designed but VERY small. I had to climb over my husband to go to toilet etc. However, we were in Kyoto to go sightseeing, not for lounging in the hotel, so this was OK.

Loved Everything. For the price, it was a great stay at a hotel like environment. Staff were extremely friendly. Everything you needed was available in the room. Small but luxurious room. They even had free guest access to onsen like public baths including an open air one. Could not fault anything. Close to Kyoto Station and a convenience store next door. It was the best stay of my 3 week trip across all of my 7 different accommodations

It was a solo business travel style stay so no wardrobe or dedicated space for luggage. I just had my big suitcase in the tiny hallway. Honestly, that isn't even worth noting as a negative as I've had rooms with futons and close to no service for a similar price. Felt like a king at APA

One of the better APA Hotels I have stayed. I liked that the train station and bus stations were literally right around the corner. They also had an array of dishes for breakfast which is also great. Staff was friendly and quite accommodating; the actually speak English which is always a plus for non-Japanese speaker. Aeon Mall is also a few meters away from the hotel. I will definitely stay again!

Great location walking distance to Kyoto train station and major bus stops. Room is compact (albeit small but complete). Comfortable bed and pillows are the best. Friendly staff. Spa until 1am, perfect for late-arriving guests coming from the airport. Good buffet breakfast.

Not much space if you prefer to eat inside the room, especially late night where only 7-11 is open nearby. The English name on Booking.com can nowhere be found in google maps (it's a different name) therefore it's a struggle to find the first time.

It'a an APA hotel, you kind of know what to expect. Everything worked and the prices are reasonable. The location was very good for both the bus/train station, so it was easy to get to all the places you wanted to go. There was also a communal bath, which my Japanese wife wife made daily use of while we were there.

The room is small, but this is what you expect in an APA hotel. No real complaints for the price.
