This hotel was a very pleasant surprise. We booked it the day before our stay and we wish we had booked more nights here. The room was very spacious, super comfy beds and lots of storage. Our baby could play on the floor safely. The shower had a very good water pressure. Our breakfast buffet was great, as was the service. They looked after our luggage before check-in and once we checked out too. There's a direct entrance to the hotel from the train station through the department store.

The hotel is located right next to the train station, but finding the entrance through the department store was a bit confusing. Perhaps more signage would be good. But once you find it the first time, you're fine!

Loves friendly staff in all areas of the hotel. Reception staff always keen to fill your needs. Room was plentiful in size, was great that I could watch Netflix in the evenings on the TV. Location is perfect and attached to the station and bus station, handy for the day trip to snow monkeys. We ate in restaurant a few times which was good. They have a fabulous house white wine so definitely try that! Overall I have stayed in lots of hotels in Japan and this was a lovely experience.

the location was the key attraction. the hotel is linked to Midori where food and transport is easily accessible. It was very important as it meant that my 80+ year old mother is able to walk to the train station warm as we were in Nagano during winter. Food at Midori was great as always, there are really nice eating places close by as well. Next is the ease of transportation - most of the buses are routed here, so getting around Nagano is very easy. The room is a really good size and everything was clean

i really do not have anything that i disliked at this hotel. In fact, the next time we return to Nagano, it will be here that i would wish to stay

Spacious room, very clean. Pretty much soundproof. Huge beds and a nice sofa bed for the kid. Nice view towards the train trucks My kid enjoyed it watching the trains. The room was really well serviced. Plenty of towels and other toiletries (tooth brushes, razors, cotton pads, hair brushes, shampoo, body shampoo and conditioner). Bring body lotion. Slippers and pyjamas were also available. A small fridge( not cold enough though) with 3 bottles of water in. Kettle (green tea bags). Glasses and mugs provided. Overall a practical room with everything that you might need. The breakfast ok-ish. Not much to choose from unless you enjoy the japonese bfast. Omlette and sausages everytime and sometimes some baked potatoes with bacon or baked pasta with some sauce. Not much bread (western style). There was smth but it was sweet bread and some baguette slices. There were croissants too. Great location next to the train station with direct access to other shopping areas. If you are coming from Hakuba to Nagano and book accomodation here the bus will leave you directly and the hotel entrance. They could accomodate an extra night for us without switching the room or paying more. Quick checkin/out. Friendly staff. Always helpfull.

You need to make a booking if you want to use the laundry room. There is no microwave in the room or anywhere else in the hotel. If you like buying food from family mart/lawson make sure to have it heated there.

The location was fantastic, next to Nagano station. The staff spoke different languages and were extremely helpful. Our train time had to be changed and we arrived very early in Nagano so we were very pleased to be able to leave our luggage. The rooms were comfortable and warm which we very much appreciated. The best part was that although the breakfast buffet was not as big as other hotels we have stayed at in Japan, the quality of the Items were high and varied - we enjoyed the two breakfasts we had at this hotel - it was delicious!

We arrived at Nagao Station shortly after 1 pm and walked to the hotel in two minutes. The location was super convenient. We planned to check in the luggage first, walk around the area a bit and come back to get our room at 3 pm. To our surprise, the front desk kindly assigned us a room on the spot. We appreciated that greatly. The room was great and so was the breakfast.

We loved the location being attached to the railway station as this made our daily outings very easy and simplified arrival and departure when we had our large suitcases. We extended our stay by 1 extra night prior to arriving, the staff were quick to respond to this enquiry and made arrangements quickly once we had confirmed this is what we wanted. As we arrived early our bags needed storing during the day. This was arranged in a prompt manner. The room size was slightly larger than some others in Nagano, which made it more comfortable for our family of 3.

Absolutely FANTASTIC Hotel! Very friendly staff, great facilities, great breakfast, accessible parking, very advanced electronics all over, located in the heart of the city and conestted to (Shinkansen) Nagano train Station, walkable distance to everything you need, Zenko-ji Talpme is just 30 min walking distance. The hotel was a great focal point for our ski trip - 45 min. by car to Hakuba and 45 min. to Shiga Kogen. Make reservations! Be on time! Great reliable experience!

Many things to say here :) : French and English speakers (probably more European language coverages) at the reception desk, water dispenser to avoid excessive use of plastic bottles (clever and eco-friendly), free samples of cream, face lotions (of quality) and other body products, direct connexion with the Nagano station, no need to get out of the station. The staff at the front desk is great and particularly Yuta (chief front desk clerk) who did an amazing job : I had an issue with the next hotel booking due to a credit card change in between the moment of the booking reservation and the use of the booking. Yuta was of great help to handle the situation, I strongly doubt to have been successful if I had to manage the issue myself! He spent almost one hour to call the other hotel, and manage the communication (only in Japanese) with the different contact persons (other hotel manager, booking platform,…), thanks to him a solution was found and everything went back in order! Thank you again Yuta! Very efficient and nice support ! An attitude that I have never see elsewhere ! Great example to follow (especially for western hotels …).

I arrived in Nagano late at night, and this hotel is conveniently right at the exit—a relief after a long journey. My initial impression of the hotel was quite positive; it's spacious, modern, with restaurants at the entrance. The staff was very friendly, and the check-in process was quick. The room was incredibly spacious and equipped with all the essentials, including a hairdryer, toothbrushes, and even disposable razors! Another thing my family enjoyed was the view from our room overlooking the train station; my husband found it relaxing to watch the trains arrive. There's a convenience store just across the street and a Don Quijote that we visited when everything else was closed for the night. All in all, it was a very good experience
