I liked sleeping on the pod with views of the Sumida river! The terrace has privileged views too. It is also impressive how comfortable the pod is. Futon and pilows were super cozy. The common area is isolated from the sleeping area, which is good too, you can talk to people on the phone at night. If you are on one of the upper pods, there is a lot of space to store your luggage next to your pod, which is always good. The bathrooms were clean, and the shampoo, gel, and conditioner were high quality and smelled great. The rest of the guests were quiet and polite, the room was always very silent. I will surely recommend it to my friends and come here again whenever I return to Tokyo.

My pod neighbor snored very strongly! Hahahahah but it is a hostel and this is normal. Luckily they provide free earplugs. If you can't stand snoring people, better not to stay in a hostel XD

I loved this hostel! The pods were really private and had plenty of room with shelves so I could unpack my luggage. It was super clean and the staff were all so friendly. It was really nice to have the bar downstairs to meet other travellers. The view from the roof is amazing too! Great value for money and the perfect location.

This hostel is right in the middle of Asakusa and it is right next to Asakusa metro station. It is so convenient to start and end my days travelling around Tokyo right at the foot of this station. Staff are friendly and it has all the facilities you'd want out of a hostel like this

Beds were the least comfy ones I had on my trip, and for what a paid in mid November the hostel was a little pricey. There also really wasn't much of a social scene here. At most I could strike up a conversation with the occasional person in the downstairs lounge A lounge which was 5ft high. A lot of things in the hostel are quite small and 6ft tall me bashed my head a few times whilst staying here :(

I love the location of the hostel. Close to the Asakusa Station. It’s also close to known Sensƍji Temple and the very good Asakusa Gyukatsu place. Oh, and I love how the hostel’s beside the river. It looked so beautiful and peaceful at night when you’re just chillin at the rooftop! It was so relaxing and healing. It was my last two days in Tokyo and I was able to reminisce about everything that happened on this trip while looking at the beautiful city lights, the river, the bridge
I also love how hospitable, friendly, and very approachable are the owners of this hostel, Erika and Hiro. Erika welcomed me with a warm smile and very welcoming atmosphere when I got to the hostel. It felt so homey. I enjoyed our good talks with the owners while I was drinking at the bar. I love their shower head too! Like the water’s just so soft and felt so good when it touches your body lol and their living room, it’s a struggle to get in especially if you’re tall tall but it was so comfy and aesthetic! It’s very unique! And it was smart of them to maximize the place and make it a living room. Love their good air conditioning both at the bar area and living room. Approachable and helpful staff too! I was able to meet a few travellers too! I guess the perks of staying in a hostel, meeting different people!

Nothing, I love everything in this hostel.

The view on the roof is very good!! And the location of hotel is very convenience. It’s near Asakusa station A2b exit and near Asakusa temple. We can walk to have the wonderful view of night Asakusa temple.

The bed is too soft that I can’t get used to it. And there’s only stairs to go in your own room. If you have a big luggage it might be a little inconvenient.

The staff are exceptional. On my arrival I was surprised and dismayed to see stairs without an elevator, but the staff offered to carry my suitcase up (and back down on checkout) straight away with no hesitation. On my day of checkout, I stored my luggage with the hostel until 8:30pm, and staff were also helpful in showing directions and answering questions. The location was great too - it was very easy to get from the hostel to the Asakusa and Ginza lines, and also easy to travel to the other parts of Tokyo I wanted to visit. In terms of your ‘bedroom’ it was always going to be a basic setup at a hostel, but I liked the way they split the ‘pods’ into these different areas - it felt a little more private than a room with 14 bunk beds in it. The curtain was great for privacy and the personal light was handy.

It's very convenient due to it's close proximity to Asakusa station. There is a lawson near, where you can get some snacks otw back to the hostel. The bathroom is always kept clean. Don't be too worried about the safety of your personal belongings because there is a large enough safety deposit box inside your pod which you can fit your wallet, a macbook 13 inch. Not a DSLR for sure. There is space to put ur bag inside the pod too. But the luggage has to be put outside. Just lock it and it will be fine. Kei san has been really friendly and accommodating . Really appreciated his time to chat with me!

Amazing location in Asakusa, only a couple minutes' walks to public transport and very easy walk to other key Asakusa landmarks. The staff were outstanding, and the breakfast is surprisingly good (500yen for a toasted sandwich, coffee, and yoghurt). Free wifi and a curated list of recommended places to eat nearby. The rooftop lounge has a glorious view and we spent hours chatting up here having lunch or dinner. Hostel staff are happy to store your luggage for a small charge as well.

Slight smell of mold or mildew in the top-floor bathroom; to be expected as this is where the laundry is.

For the price it's unbeatable. Super close to the city and stations, staffs were happy. Soaps were Pola branded and were very pleasent. Views were awesome, although the Skytree was a bit far fetched.

But, some residents were rude. It's not the hostel's fault but it someone made a modern art on bathroom. And some nicknacks here and there: The diffuser in bathrooms,, they stink. I suggest changing them. The Dryer(Washer was fine) is weak. We let it in for 2hrs(and yes, we DID empty the bins every 30 mins) and it was still partially damp. I suggest replacing or at least replace the heater cores.

Location is excellent as its near Asakusa Shrine and the subway is a 5 min walk which is pretty near. the Dorm is nice as im 170cm and broad the bed is quite comfortable if you need more than 1 pillow better use a neck pillow which i did as an extra pillow. Convenient store is nearby so dont need to worry about snacks or breakfast. They also give out recommendations on where to go to eat which was very useful. If you are taller than me then the living space may be too short for ya. I am from Malaysia so this standard is amazing IMO and manage to talk to other travelers here.

nothing much maybe would be nice to have 2 pillows? other than that its all good for me
