Clean, quiet neighborhood, accommodating staff, coffee and lobby area on 12th floor, super fast elevators (except around check out times when everyone’s trying to use it), comfortable bed, thoughtful supplies and toiletries available for you to take by the front desk.

After reading the mixed reviews on location convenience, I now understand why. It is really close to a subway station (Onarimon starion) but we only used that like once. The main transportation hub to a lot of places and more connecting transit lines is Shimbashi station, which is about 15min walk. Not a difficult walk, but gets tiring after a several full days of activities and walking. The bathroom of economy twin room is pretty tiny, knees almost touch the wall you’re facing when using the toilet, shower was easier to use when you’re sideways. Overall just takes a little adjusting but manageable.

Excellent location. Although the room is very compact/small, we found that the spaces were well used. We had excellent coffee provided in the top floor during the entire day. This was also a great area to eat your food, with a microwave also available there. Room was equiped with bathroom amenities, but you could also get some extra ones in the lobby when needed. Good value for money!

This was the only hotel in our trip to Japan that the toilet and bathroom were together. The bathroom was very cramped. If you are traveling with a lot of luggage, you will find it a bit challenging to store them in the room. The room was for two people, but there was only one chair and a single desk. Even though there are a few drawbacks, I recommend staying here.

Lovely and comfortable hotel. And after staying in other hotels in and around Tokyo as well, we appreciate the size of the room, the cleanliness and the kindness of the staff even more. Nicely located close to a 7-11 and only 10 minute walk to station. For a sure thing, happy to come back here next time in Tokyo.

Was a little disappointed with the view (blocked by construction sheet). The noise from the construction however was not disturbing since we were out and about during the day anyhow.

Our room is very clean; functional with a work table/chair/lamp; and with a spectacular view of the Tokyo Tower, especially at night. What makes this hotel one of the best in Tokyo are the Hotel staff who greet us everyday with a smile; speak English; and help you "live like a local" (which is the hotel's tagline). Another plus point is the hotel's lounge at the 12th floor which offers free Costa coffee (7:00am-17:00pm) and tea (until 24:00). The coffee by the way is superb! Guests can stay in the lounge while sipping coffee and appreciating the view of Tokyo Tower via their panoramic glass window. There is also coin laundry and water dispenser in a separate area in the lounge which are so helpful for travellers like us.

Small room but expected. Electric kettle always a plus On floor 12, there is a washing machine and water dispenser, as well as coffee and tea. Quiet room, good shower, great pressure and different shower head set-ups. The bed was comfy, there is a small desk but not really a comfortable chair to sit on. Wi-fi worked pretty well It’s close be to lots of restaurants and small markets, also close to a subway station .

Only minus for me was the pillows. They were a little hard for me.

This was my second stay at the LOF Hotel Shimbashi. This time I stayed in an Economy Double Room and it was great. Stylishly decorated, private bathroom, large comfy bed, tv, fridge, basically everything I needed for a comfortable, quiet stay. The top floor lounge also offered coffee, tea and a great view of Tokyo Tower. The location of the hotel is a bit of a walk from Shimbashi Station but that's actually good, as you're close enough to all the restaurants and bars in Shimbashi but you're staying in a quieter neighbourhood. The staff were welcoming, friendly and accommodating. I felt like I was coming home each night. I'm already planning my next trip to Tokyo, and will definitely be staying at the LOF Hotel Shimbashi again.

Room was very clean, nicely fitted and spacious (for Japanese standards). Staff was very helpful and spoke very good English. They allowed me to keep my luggage before and after of my stay, so that I could get some extra freedom to walk around without carrying a bag.

The location is about 7 minutes away from the Shinbashi Station, which was perfectly fine for me but might be tricky for families with kids. It was a bit noisy from the main street a few blocks away, which again - was fine for me as I usually sleep with ear plugs on. Some might also be bothered by the construction area next to the hotel (as of December 2023).

They have a common room where you can get free coffee and tea to go along with your own meal. This is an excellent service considering that hotel rooms are very small in Tokyo. We asked for a late check-out as our flight was only at 6pm and they accommodated us with just JPY1000 payment for checking out at 1pm. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful and hotel was convenient located to several different metro lines, including the new Toramon Hills station area.

Room was very dark. More lighting would be helpful.

Excellent experience and value for money! We spent 8 nights at this hotel. Beforehand, I was a little hesitant about the room sizes, but they were more than fine. In our standard room, we had enough room for 4 pieces of luggage (2 large, 2 smaller ones). The beds are comfortable and suitable for taller people. The room has all the amenities and functionalities you need, and everything is provided. There are also some complementary additional amenities available near the reception. We had a corner room with a stunning view of Tokyo Tower! The room was cleaned thoroughly every second day. The staff are more than helpful! The lounge room on the 12th floor was also amazing! There is a coffee machine, microwave, and a big tea selection. The location is also absolutely perfect! Shimbashi is a cool neighborhood, with a 10-minute walk to the metro station. Although there were 2 active construction sites right next to the hotel, it was quiet and peaceful. All in all, I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

This hotel has a very very friendly staffs. Also they all can communicate in English. Also the staffs are very helpful. They also help me sending luggages to other cities using takyubin. This hotel has many amenities, we can take bath salt as many as we want. On the top floor it has many kind of teas and coffees. There are 2 train stations nearby. Also just a short walk to see Tokyo tower. There are several convenience stores nearby. Also there is Coco Ichibanya Curry near the hotel.

Only one elevator, but that's not a problem since the elevator is fast. Also the room is too small if you stay with a family with a lot of luggages.
