Rooms are quite small for a couple. Better suited for single use. Construction of high rise building next door which did not cause any disturbance or hinderance during our stay (Dec2023) However as construction progresses, unsure of impact.

It was close to a underground metro station. Check in was automated with a machine. The room was clean and cozy. When you enter the room the TV displays a cozy screen and sounds that are relaxing

The middle of the building does not protect against rain, so if you visit the second floor where the laundry and snacks are be careful not to get wet or step on the wet carpet floor

I have been staying at this hotel for a couple of days, every year since 2012. This is a great hotel. The staff is very kind and helpfull. The hotel is clean and secured: if you do not have a key card, you cannot access the floors. The room is a regular Japanese size double room, with everything needed: amenities, kettle, cups... There is a socket with a small plateform just above the bed: that is so convenient

There is no USB socket, only regular sockets.

The Sotetsu Fresa Inn Hamamatsucho-Daimon hotel is a business hotel with basic amenities. If you're looking for a luxurious experience, this is not the hotel for you. But if you want a good and comfortable place to use as a base for exploring Tokyo, this is the perfect hotel because: 1- It's located on a very quiet street; you can hardly hear any noise except for an occasional siren (there's a hospital nearby), but the noise is so low that it won't disturb you. 2- The hotel staff is amazing, very kind and super helpful! 3- The breakfast was delicious with both Japanese and some Western food options. The only drawback is that it could be a bit repetitive, but I still highly recommend it. 4- The room was clean, the hot bathtub was relaxing, and the bed was super comfortable. 5- Incredibly convenient location, approximately an 8-minute walk from JR Hamamatsucho Station and the Monorail (very easy to get here from Haneda Airport). Daimon and Onarimon Stations are also very close. This means you can go to pretty much everywhere in Tokyo from this location. Exploring the area around is also very satisfying, with numerous restaurants, coffees, convenience stores as well as the Tokyo Tower which is about just 13min walk. In summary, an excellent hotel for those who want to wake up early, enjoy a good and tasty breakfast, explore Tokyo, and return late in the evening. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

Location is great, only few minutes from underground station with good connections. Reception staff were friendly and efficient. Room was compact but comfy. Plenty of free and good quality amenities. Bed is not soft which I personally prefer. They offer daily cleaning, if you want.

The breakfast. I didn’t pre book with my reservation; I had a look in the day before and decided to try. The breakfast is served until 9:30am; we arrived around 8:30am and the buffet was empty; no milk, juice, yogurt, bread and sausage. We asked the waiter for some items and they replaced it; however in small quantities. For example: we asked for more bread; they placed 2 slices from different types, so my partner and I got one slice each; my slice was chocolate bread which didn’t taste good with eggs. 😓 There is a note that from April 2024 the breakfast price will rise to ¥1.500 per person, I am certainly that you can get a better experience somewhere else nearby with the same price.

Good value for money. Though the room may be a bit too small and there's barely any places for large baggage, that's common for the price. Hotel located within the walking distance of several convenience store, some train lines (one major), and Tokyo Tower.

Check-in is available at 3PM, though it is possible to simply wait at the lounge or leave the baggage and cruise around if arrived early. Breakfast may not offer much variety for the price, though it's a buffet style. Hotel has the policy of cleaning every 4th day from the last cleaning, even though "no clearing" is requested. Hotel doesn't accept cash; credit card or other non-cash option required to settle the amount.

The hotel is in a really good location for going to Skytree or Shibuya. Also not far from Shinkansen stations. Hamamatsucho JR station is just 10 min walk away. Tokyo tower is also 10 min walk away. A lot of convinis and places to eat just a short walk away. The staff was really helpful and friendly. Breakfast is totally recommended! Very clean room and all the things you might possibly need can be found. Would totally stay again

The rooms, very clean and optimized, are small in size, but in line with hotels of this category. On the second floor is the laundry area with washing machines and dryers and with a vending machine for drinks and various hotel amenities are available in the lobby. There is no restaurant, but the buffet breakfast is varied and plentiful and mainly offers Asian dishes with some European hints. The common areas are small, but useful for short breaks. The staff is prepared, kind, helpful and speaks English. The hotel also offers a luggage storage service for several days. WI-FI works great. All check-in and check-out operations can also be carried out automatically through special terminals.

The staff were friendly and helpful, our stay there was for 4 days and the cleaning staff made sure the room was nice and tidy when we returned from our outings. Large rooms, a very short walk to multiple train lines and a short walk to the lit up streets of Shinjukus main night life. Also for those who are planning a long stay, there is a laundry mat right around the corner which is great.

I don't really have any dislikes, however I will mention that obviously as a smoking permitted hotel, the room that we stayed in had a very strong smell of ciggeretts which is to be expected if you are going to stay here, however I can't really pin this to a negative as it's clearly advertised as q smoking hotel so you have to expect it. The Fridge in our room has a few stains inside, but other than that the rest of the room was spotless.
