All of the staff of both the hotel and restaurant were very friendly, polite and courteous. The restaurant is one of the best we have used and the food was of a consistently high standard. The breakfast was self service but had an excellent choice.

There were no lifts to the area of the hotel where our rooms were, they did offer to assist with our luggage if required. The main issue was with the inconsistant housekeeping and servicing of the room, they even managed one one day not to do any cleaning/servicing at all!

Just got back from a weekend at the savoy and I am extremely satisfied with my stay. I stayed over alone with my 5 year old daughter and we both loved it. Staff were very friendly to both of us and were always happy to help. Our room was very clean which is key to me. Also have to mention breakfast was 10/10 there was a wide variety to choose from and everything was always being topped up and the staff at breakfast were also very friendly. All in all we loved our trip and will definitely be returning! :)

If I was to be picky I would say the only thing I didn’t like was people smoking at the entrance of the hotel

the breakfast was exceptional everything was perfectly cooked and regularly refreshed. We had a three course evening meal and was very impressed with the quality and variety. We stayed in the master suite which was absolutely superb, huge bathroom with shower and a bath with jacuzzi. When we arrived the staff advised us the bath was ok to use however the jacuzzi jets were not working, during our stay on the afternoon of new years eve were given a complementary bottle of champagne as a form of apology.

Two small gripes, the hotel had a new years eve ball and to accommodate the ball the breakfast was temporarily located in the restaurant area, when we arrived for breakfast that day there were no clear tables. We cleared two tables ourselves and had to chase up the staff several times to get cutlery and utensils along with Tea and coffee. Although this was rather poorly managed it appeared to be because the breakfast was under staffed and they did respond and were very apologetic. The second minor gripe related to checking out on New years day, we was not advised that checkout was at midday rather than 10.30, consequently we hurried to be ready in the morning when we could have been a little more relaxed. Neither of these issues impacted our stay.

The hotel was very nicely decorated and modern. The restaurant and bar had a good ambience. There was a video display information board and lots of brochures of places to visit. The breakfast was lovely and there was a good choice even had a coffee and walnut cake. The staff were friendly and provided good service and were welcoming. We had a meal in the restaurant were the meals were of good quality but expensive and small portions. The rooms were well equipped and had good facilities. We had a good view of the front of the hotel where we could watch the firemen do their training. With regards to Jersey it is a nice place and is clean and tidy and people are friendly but unfortunately it is not geared for tourists but just rich people. There were no decent shops, the pubs close at 11 p.m and there are no late night takeaways. We went to Elizabeth Castle, The War Tunnels and the Maritime Museum which are worth going. I would not recommend the bus tour that they advertise at Liberation square as the driver was more interested in going round rich people's houses instead of us visiting the scenic views of Jersey and did not stop at St Aubins and only stay at Gorey for 15 minutes but stayed half an hour at a rocky area near the sea which was difficult to walk round. We only stopped 45 minutes for lunch when it was supposed to be longer. Be careful of taxis as they can go the long way round

There could have been different music apart from Jazz music. There should be a bigger area for guests who are going back home. You should be able to have a drink as the bar was not open just to get a hot or cold drink while waiting two hours before you went to the airport.

The evening meal and breakfast were very good. The entrance hall and lounge and bar facilities etc. looked lovely and very comfortably laid out. In the bedroom, there was a fridge and tea making facilities which included some biscuits and also bottles of water were provided which was good. The location was just a short walk 15 minute walk into the town.

The bedroom walls were very thin and I could hear conversation and coughing from the man in the room next to mine. I have to admit that I'm a 'snorer' and I felt very conscious that he would be able to hear this and be disturbed.

Breakfast was lovely - a very good selection of cooked and continental food. Good variety of fresh fruit too. Tea/Coffee/juices. No queueing, even in peak periods. Staff very efficient and courteous. Room was spacious, well equipped and very clean. Spruced up daily. Dinner - was perfect. Good menu selection, cleverly cooked and beautifully presented, every time! Ideal sized portions too Pool - lovely to cool down in after a long, hot day sightseeing.

Smokers! Designated outside area. I'd prefer it to be totally banned, outside too but can understand why hotels accommodate them - they are plentiful. Very loud TV/radio in the room below

- Superb English breakfast with delicious carrot and walnut cake - Very spacious and clean rooms - Comfortable beds - Beautiful historical interior of the hotel - Pretty Halloween decorations

- Not the best location. There is nothing nearby. No shops, restaurants or even pubs. It is quite a long walk to the nearest attractions, about 20 minutes - The furniture and interior are worn out - Rooms have poor soundproofing - I was charged twice for my stay: the first time through the Booking and the second time in the hotel. Eventually, this problem was solved after a few days with the help of Booking and the bank. However, it is not pleasant that payment is made in such an inappropriate way Overall, it is a good hotel with superb breakfasts. However, its location is not the best for tourists without a car

Hotel met our wishes, we had requested a ground floor room and walk in shower. Evening restaurant staff were very attentive, although a limited menu choice in our view, this time of year. If you are staying a few days, consider eating out for variety. Public facing areas of the hotel are modern and well decorated

Couldn't seem to get the temperature in our bedroom right. Very hot and stuffy, even excepting we visited in November. Condensation on windows, no extraction in bathroom. We like a cooked breakfast and felt options provided were limited.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. The hotel was clean. We had complimentary tea and coffee, as well as bottles of water, which we appreciated. The storm caused water to leak into our room, we let the staff know and they moved us to a new room without any problems. There was also other damage to the hotel due to the storm, which was dealt with very efficiently.

The hotel restaurant was advertised as receiving 20% off, due to us being guests at the hotel. However, tips were added to the bill without our knowledge. So technically, we didn't receive a 20% discount. We felt this was false advertisement by the hotel/restaurant.
