Location was good. The staff was very friendly and helpful, many thanks to one of the housekeeper who washed a few clothes I gave her in record time, I was leaving the next day and she did everything possible to deliver to reception before my departure time before 7 am Personnel from reception and restaurant very friendly and willing to help and answer questions. One of the girls from the restaurant agreed to feed the cats living in the restaurant courtyard with the cat food I brought them, thanks for that! The room was clean and located in a more quiet side, not right on top of the music from the restaurant so that was appreciated. My breakfast was packed to go on my departure day, as I left before 7 am. Quickly solved problems, the night before the bedroom light bulb stopped working so they quickly sent someone to fix it.

No air conditioning, the room was very hot. Thankfully the housekeeper brought a fan that helped. The shower curtain could be replaced, it had a lot of mould stains on it and looked overall very old. Could be easily replaced or even washed with bleach. The toilet cistern had problems. Every time I flushed it, the water was keep running, having to press the flushing button again, sometimes taking more time and effort to stop the running water, needs definitely a fixing. The bedlinen had small stains and a cigar burnt, small but still noticeable. Small details easily fixable help to make a better impression!

We enjoyed our short stay in this hotel! It is clean, well located and at affordable price. There is a nice cosy restaurant-bar just next door to the hotel with very tasty african food and excellent drinks at affordable price, and good music. Staff is very friendly and helpful! Socket adapters are provided.

Noise from outside, absence of hangers for the towels were for some discomfort. Lights in the room could be better too. But overall this hotel is good for a short stay, taking into account the affordable price. No problem.

Great Value for money, walking distance to nice places to eat, felt safe in area. Good security. Bed was comfy. Fan was good. Had extra blankets as got cold in the night. Staff were very polite and helpful. Brought breakfast to my room as had early check out for safari. I stayed here as close to safari company for pick up. Meant didn't have the crazy traffic in the morning.

No tea/coffee making facility in room, I landed late after long haul flight, and wanting a drink. Did supply water, but wanted a hot drink. Also as a sat night, music from across road was loud. Good it you wanted to party, not so great if you need a good night sleep. I had earplugs, so I slept OK.

The staff were polite and courtesy, the helped me with my lagguage to my room, they explained everything needed to know about the room and the services offered. The room was clean and very organised. The bed was comfortable, the sitting area had good lighting where I was able to get work done. There was hot water in the shower which I appreciated. Its location is convenient as there is easy access to the highway. The ambience is also good. You get good value for your money, would highly recommend.

The only problem I encountered was noise that came from the restaurant. However, the staff explained to me that it was due to the Karoeke they host every Thursday. They also explained that they were fully booked that is why I got that room but on normal occasions they wouldn't give that room out because they are aware of the noise disturbance.

I mean for the amount that you pay to stay here in the heart of Westlands walking distance to the malls and famous clubs/restaurants, this is a very very good deal. There are inconveniences here and there but again you get what you pay for and hence I am rating this as Exceptional (10/10). I also really enjoyed how secure the place was and the staff was very friendly and acommodating

Again for the amount you pay, you need to overlook the inconveniences but here are some: 1) hot water was hard to get 2) club next to the hotel so quite loud

The hotel provided excellent services compared to the cost. It provides you with basic things, but It was totally worth it as it's very affordable. The hotel wasn't a fancy one with a lot of amenities to offer, but they also charge you less compared to other nearby ones. It was very neat and clean with a quite wonderful and very helpful staff. The location is perfect, with multiple restaurants and shops nearby, and a great access to Uber and other ride hailing services.

The breakfast was very basic, the same thing everyday, which could be improved by adding variety.

Joy Palace is always good and my go-to place to stay in Nairobi. Preferable to staying with rather than taking up friends' offers of staying with them.

This time round the restaurant was closed for refurbishment so anything involving food or drink meant going next door to Pride Inn. No hassle and a change of scene.

Great location. Room with bed, desk, and bathroom/shower. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff! Definitely recommended.

Not very soundproof, music from nearby resto/bar or people talking loudly could be heard with windows closed, BUT the music does stop in the evening so it did not affect my sleep. Bathroom window handle was broken. Walls could be cleaned (a couple of dead mosquitoes hanging).

The location is so close to many restaurants and shopping malls like Westgate and Sarit Center. The wifi was not that much reachable to my room but the staff members offered to change the room and a place where to set and connect with good internet. Overall it was really nice and I would recommend this place for another visit and for others.

It was a little bit noisy from the nearby bar/restaurants during the weekend and the wifi was not that reachable/fast.

The most selling point for this hotel is their location and affordability. close to so many malls and happening place. And the price u pay for them is rediculously cheap compared to other hotels in westland. My 3rd time to stay here and God willing, they will be a 4th, 5th and 10th time INSHALLAH.

Hotel and Rest't being under different managment. So u cant really bargain on food and breakfast.
