We booked the hotel because it was close to the airport and was affordable. It was beyond our expectations. The staff was helpful and friendly, the food was great both dinner and breakfast. We appreciated the fact they had tasty vegan options. The bed was comfortable and it was easy to get to and from the hotel via airport shuttle busses. Overall experience was great, and we will be sure to return.

The towels were too tiny

Room was comfortable and very functional. No frills but well designed for short stays. Also quiet and great blackout curtains.

Unable to get through on phone. Emailed re bus service from Heathrow and response said there was a hoppa bus hourly but gave no details on frequency or location - would have been helpful to say it was bus stop 18 (I think) and give schedule.

Clean upmarket hotel

It was a £23 taxi fare from Heathrow despite being described as an airport hotel. The Hoppa bus seems to be one an hour or less and we had just missed it.

We stayed two nights, May 21 and June 9, arriving from Australia and departing to Helsinki, visiting friends and family in the interim. Reception staff, especially Nat, were extremely helpful and found suitable rooms for us to match my friend's requirements with her wheelchair, and also arranged to keep her medication cool during our stay. Room had all necessary amenities and was clean and great value. The restaurant's daytime maitre'd was also very kind and helpful with the wheelchair, and remembered us when we returned 2+ weeks later. Overall a very good experience and we will stay again when next in London.

All was fine except for one waiter who was extremely rude and unpleasant when we dined in the restaurant on the night of June 9. Perhaps he had some objections to wheelchairs or to vegetarians (restaurant focusses on meat dishes), but his attitude was unnecessary, given he was not at all busy at the time. Fortunately, at breakfast the following morning, the charming maitre'd was in charge, and his kindnesses compensated for the previous evening's disappointment.

I was pleasantly surprised by this Sheraton after reading some mixed reviews. Everything about my stay was great - early check-in was possible with a reasonable free of 10 pounds per hour, the room was comfortable (with massive bonus points for a window that OPENS into a courtyard), staff were helpful and friendly, the food from the bar surprisingly delicious (another bonus for vegan options). In terms of location, the hotel is very accessible from T5 by public bus (a short 5 min. hop with frequent service, easy to do even when jet lagged). Pro tip: take a walk on Harmondsworth Moor right next door and enjoy a beautiful green space!

It was exactly what I wanted and could afford, but not a luxury hotel in terms of design and amenities. Also, it is not in the terminal itself so may not be ideal for tight connections or standby.

Room was clean and comfortable; restaurant was great, breakfast was great. Check in was excellent - a rude man came up and stepped right beside me to have the employee answer a question for him. The employee advised the man that he was with a guest (me) and he would be with him when he was completed. The rude man said "you can't even answer my question?" which it wasn't a question but a complaint that the outlets didn't work. Again, the very professional employee advised the rude man he was with a guest and would be with him when he was finished.

Everything was excellent

This hotel was accessible via the HotelHoppa bus from Terminal 5 LHR stopping in front of hotel (a big plus when traveling from the airport). The hotel reception was welcoming, clean and well-appointed with areas to sit and relax. Staff was gracious and accommodating at check-in and efficient in accepting our larger bags for overnight storage in the secure luggage room. Our room was spacious with all the amenities you could want, especially following multiple long flights: quiet so we could get sleep, comfortable beds with luxury bedding, room temperature easy to adjust, spotless bathroom had shampoos etc. and coffee/tea service were provided. We had another early morning flight so we did not take advantage of the restaurant. During our short ride from the terminal, this hotel appeared to be the best location/best looking option. Could not have asked for a better accommodation, especially so close to the terminal.

The only drawback was that the hotel is on the HotelHoppa route that only circles once an hour. If you miss it, sit tight! The ride is short and you can purchase a round-trip ticket (individual or family) which makes the return to the airport much easier. Our family R/T ticket was the same price we had paid previous for a one-way taxi from another hotel close to the Sheraton.

The hotel was very clean and staff were very attentive.

I was followed to my room by a stranger at 12.30am when I came downstairs to pick up my food. He followed me asking if he could come into my room and I didn’t feel safe at that time of the morning. Anyone can access the elevator without putting their key card in, so I think the security could be better.

A couple of hiccups with the room (tv not working and broken chair) but soon rectified by reception and maintenance who were very helpful. Lovely breakfast and despite busy plenty of space to dine. Great art display in the foyer with prints for sale - nice way to add a splash of colour and grab guests attention.

Room looked out onto main A/C unit and not a great deal of natural light came into the room. Not a lot of space to walk around the bed without moving furniture.

The service from the staff was exceptional!!! They offered to pack a breakfast for us, and gave us a wake up call at 5am, so that we wouldnot miss our flight...

Unfortunately, my shower had a plumbing issue and water flowed all over the bathroom floor. The carpet needed to be vacuumed, and there was somewhat of a musty smell in the hallways. Otherwise, the hotel was quite nice! We had a brief, but a lovely stay at The Sheraton Heathrow Hotel in London!
