When I arrived, I was graciously welcomed by the staff member Vsevolods. He got me checked in, explained everything and was incredibly nice. I immediately knew I was going to have a wonderful time. The hotel itself is so beautiful on the inside with its interior design and all the little details. There is a small lobby with a couch near the elevator that you can sit down in but the service is so quick that you don't need to wait at all. The hotel is accessible to anyone disabled because they have a ramp and also the elevator if you don't want to take the steps. The entire hotel is so clean and when you come to your room, you're met with wonderful color theme. Mine was red. In your room you are provided with: shampoo, body lotion, body wash, slippers, earplugs, towels, soap, shower cap(s) and a bathrobe. If you fancy a coffee or tea, the room is equipped with an espresso machine and an electric kettle and they even provide you with the tea. My room was incredible, it overlooked the square. There was a TV, but I didn't use it at the end of the day because I was too tired from exploring the city. The location is within walking distance of everything most guides tell you that you need to see on your trip to Riga. Seriously, you can't get better location than this! The breakfast was delicious and the workers incredibly nice. I appreciate all their hard work and I hope they know they're amazing. I wish I got their names because they deserve to be called out by name. Also the food made was fresh and they provide a lot of options if you are a picky eater. Overall, this was the best hotel I've stayed at so far. Due to its staff, its location, cleanliness, services provided and everything awaiting at the room. Also special thanks to Vsevolods. He was incredibly helpful and overall spectacular!

It can be a little noisy outside but they do provide you earplugs if you need to use them. I only needed them for one night but it was quiet for the rest of my stay.

Location was excellent! Staff and facilities were great. Room had everything one needs. We stayed at a room without window but it didn’t make us cramped. Room was clean and warm. In the end, it was a pleasant stay.

Breakfast was good but staff from kitchen were a little bit unwillingly. They were like “just eat and go” mood and if you want to have a slow morning it is not the best. It would be better if buffet can have more option. It is not nice to have limited option when you are at a hotel breakfast! Also breakfast area pictures with view are unrealistic. No way to see anything when you are eating.

This hotel is situated in the historic center of Riga and therefore many tourist highlights are in reach by walking. The French theme of the house is covered from the name to the elegance of the interior. We wer regretted by helpful staff who checked us in and gave us some advice on how to start with exploring Riga. The breakfast was very good, one freshly prepared dish was included in the booking (such as omelette or oatmeal). further, there was a good choice of bread, sausage, cheese, jams etc. so we always left the breakfast table well nourished.

nothing. Maybe one thing is worth mentioning even if it is not be any negligence on the side of the hotel - at least some rooms (like ours) get day light only via the inner court of the building. We did not mind this much but it may be good to know.

This is a very nice hotel that I've stayed at three times now. It has met my expectation each time. Each room is slightly different. The central atrium is magnificent with the mirrors. Rooms are comfortable and the plumbing works well. The linens are high-quality. Breakfast on the upper floor is very nice. There is a modest selection of items to eat. There is a small view over the central city from one end of the breakfast area.

One needs to walk about 200 m to get from an automotive form of transportation to the front door. This isn't really a downside, although many of us are autocentric in our lives. It does make it very safe to walk out the front door with only pedestrians.

The hotel's central location was superb, the rooms and hotel were immaculate, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff was incredibly helpful and nice.

The first night, we slept poorly because the room temperature reached between 25 and 26 degrees. We realised too late that adjusting the room's air conditioning controls had no effect whatsoever on the temperature. The staff was really kind and helpful, and after seeing the problem, they let us switch to a different room. (Another traveller also commented on room temperature, which indicates that the hotel should really focus more on the AC issue.) Another nuisance, although a minor one, was that the other morning, bottom-floor speakers played jazz, and the sound carried quite loudly to upper stories. Jazz is nice, but not that much on holiday mornings.

Very nice hotel following the french theme throughout, rooms were clean and spacious. You can hear the music outside faintly overnight but the hotel have addressed this with providing earplugs but even so the music was very well blocked by the windows.breakfast is a set menu for hot food and a selection of cold is also available. Staff are very attentive...only thing I would have liked is additional pillows on the wardrobe...but maybe these are available on request

Ideal location between Old and New Riga, close to park, Central Market, Railway station. Surrounded with plenty of restaurants, bar and stores. Exceptional breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Exclusive interior. Very clean.

Not enough storage in the room. Not very big closet is 1/3 occupied with refrigerator (heats up inside the closet) and tea set . Electrical sockets placed under the table - not easy for elderly couple to get it. Insite services are not coordinated - two days out of 5 there were only cold water in the shower and drain blockage. Air conditioner is not really effective. We felt deficiency of fresh air.

Great location in Old Town of Riga convenient to all sights and only 15 mins away from bus and train stations. The rooms were comfortable tho our standard double was not large and had no windows besides one above the door. Breakfasts were very nice with a buffet and one can order a main dish tho it can be a wait to order and be served. We also enjoyed the French atmosphere of the hotel. We were very pleased by our choice and really enjoyed our stay in Riga.

Beautiful building and exceptional decor and style, both in the communal areas and the bedroom. A lot of attention to detail in every aspect, from the wall art to the cups and plates in the breakfast room. The location couldn’t be more central and it was very convenient for the airport bus. Every staff member we dealt with was very friendly, polite and professional. The breakfast was a great selection and beautifully cooked, highly recommended.

Well located gorgeous hotel. The rooms were exceptionally clean and tidy. The bathroom was beautiful and clean. Great staff who greeted us every time. And the breakfast menu - wonderful! Also what a beautiful view from the dining area! Other guests were very nice and quiet, even during the weekend. All in all, would recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful stay in Riga.

It's not that we didn't like it, but the TV programmes could maybe have a wider selection of English language channels. Otherwise we had fun watching some Latvian hiking programme :)
