Everything was as described, large room, well working bathroom facilities, good location

Only reason why 9 instead of 10 - I have not found refrigirator in the room, but it is in room description

Room rate is very affordable. It is an old building in the Old Town but the interior is well renovated. I like the spacious room and the brightly lighted bathroom with white tiles and rain shower. Location-wise is perfect 10. Only 5 minutes to the Town hall square and Lido restaurant for the daily affordable meals. The front desk staff, Ms. Leila, is welcoming and very accommodating but she failed to tell me regarding checking out, such as where to leave the key card if early morning check out since front desk is not 24Hrs. Overall, i highly recommend this Hotel and will stay again if have the chance to visit Riga again.

Front desk is not 24 hrs. There are kettle, cups, teas, and coffees in the room but there are no sugar and creamer and free bottled water. There are bottled water in the front desk but was not offered when i checked in, so no idea if it was for sale or free.

Location is excellent. Hotel is placed in the old town, very close to everything, also clubs and bars. They upgraded our room from standard double to suite and so we had really large room and large bathroom. There is even a small kitchen in the room. Hotel staff were friendly and we could check in earlier (around 12 o clock). We also checked out a few minutes after check out time, also no problem. There are some reviews mentioning noise from the clubs in the street. We stayed in the hotel during the weekend in January. There was no loud music or anything else that would break our sleep.

The bed has two mattresses instead of one large, so there is a small gap in the middle.

Booked it 2 times. First time booked standard room and they upgraded it for junior suite (room 301) for free. It was huge and almost everything except the view was great. But thanks to the bad view it was really quiet room. Booked junior suite a week later second time and got other room on second floor and view was to the street. Better view, but a lot of noise from street until around 00:00. On weekends can expect much more noise. And the room size was bit smaller but sill big enough.

On second stay did not like the noise from the street, needs better noise isolation. If you want quiet room ask the one that does not have windows on street side. Pillows are too thin for men. On second stay our room had a door to the other room and you can hear what they are talking there. Got lucky that they did not talk much.

Central location, easy self check-in/out. The room was very spacious and comfortable. It was also nice and cozy given the cool temperatures outside. The bathroom seemed recently renovated and was very well equipped. We also appreciated the mini fridge and beverage facilities. Staff were very helpful and communicative before and during our stay.

There was some noise from the street during the night as we had an exterior room. This was not a major problem for us, but it was noticeable. We managed to rest well in any case.

The position is amazing: 1) easy to reach from the airport thanks to the 22 bus stopping nearby 2) close to the train station 3) every major point of interest is within 20 minutes on foot 4) close to good restaurants and cafés Instructions on how to self check in were clear and the staff was polite and efficient. The room was definitely clean, the only blemish were the wallpaper and the bathroom door that were probably ruined by previous guests. Absolutely stellar value for our money!

This hotel far exceeded my expectations. The rooms were huge and very comfortable. Loads of space to store luggage etc. Only seen one staff member but she was very helpful - I was doing some travelling and she let me keep my case at the hotel for a few days. She was there on my return and assisted with other queries I had. Could not recommend this hotel highly enough and wouldn't hesitate staying again. Having read other reviews I stayed on a Monday, had no issues with noise

The reception closes at 5, from then you need a code to enter. This is explained on arrival but perhaps not the easiest/best way to run it. A room card to enter would be better, it also causes problems for guests arriving later on.

The location is perfect, in the very old town and very quiet!

We stayed here in 2022, and they had normal reception. Now they work from 10 am to 5 pm, and then you're on your own! Self check in/check out. No information about this update when you book. We stayed only one night and left at 5 am. Usually, I ask reception to book the tex to airport. This time, I felt helpless since we didn't have internet other than wifi. If I pay for the hotel, I would prefer to have the full service. Otherwise, I could rent from Airbnb. Other than that, everything was fine

We arrived almost at midnight, the staff was gone, the keys to the room were in the safe, the information was sent to the email. The room is nice, warm, excellent mattresses with pillows and bed linen, a good shower room. There was even an electric kettle with tea bags and sugar. Very quiet in the room. Excellent location of the hotel: close to the center and the bus station, from where we had to go home early in the morning. In the future, we can consider this place to stay for a longer period (we were there one night).

Perfect location right in the old town and 6 minutes from the bus station. Bed was one of the best I’ve ever slept in. Clean bathroom and spacious room.

We stayed for 2 nights and didn’t see any staff apart from when we were checking out. The door is coded so not a massive problem but it next to nightclubs so could do with more security. There was a lot of black hair under the sheets on one of the beds and a stain on the curtain. These are minor things and didn’t impact our stay too much.
