Nice room. Lovely chef who comes out and speaks to you, explains what everything is and hangs around to see if you like the food. He was very friendly and dedicated. A lovely personal touch. Parking.

Our room was not cleaned. The first day we asked for it not to be cleaned as we were in the room. The second day, we went out for the day and came back at 3.30pm. They came to clean the room at 4pm which we refused as we were in the room. This is the first hotel I ever been to where rooms are cleaned so late in the day. The room was cleaned during the day on the third day. Parking IS free, but you have to hand in your credit card at reception every time you want to go out so they can authorise your card. Then you tap out at the barrier at the car park. If there is a queue at reception for check in/out as there was one day, you have to wait a while.

A very modern, comfortable hotel in a good location within walking distance of almost everything in George Town. The air conditioning is great, the shower is fully enclosed and has good water pressure, and there are outlets all over the room. If you like to sleep in pitch darkness, you'll love the blackout curtains. And the big wardrobe is very useful if you're staying long enough to unpack. My wife accidentally left a ring in the room when we checked out; the cleaning staff found it and returned it to us.

The music venue across the street had loud, not very good singers performing until after 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, which we could hear clearly from our room facing the street. The free wifi codes given to guests are only good for two devices, so if you have two people in a room and each has more than one device, you have to go back to the front desk to ask for more. They're good for five days, so if you stay longer than that, you'll also have to ask for new ones.

It was clean. When we came back, the bed was made and the towels were changed.

The hotel staff pretend as if it's fully booked and all you can see is the staff chatting freely with no customers around. They purposefully wasted our time over 3pm to give our room although there was no crowd of customers. It was extremely hot that day and we had to roam around uselessly just to pass the time. Also, the pictures are not true. There is no view from the balcony. Also no roof if it rains and you have kept your stuff outside they may as well get ruined.

If you're looking for swanky 5 star luxury - this isn't for you, if you're looking for unassuming and livable luxury. it's ideal. The hotel has a delightful local flavour without being bland and faceless like so many of the big chains. It's in a quiet street within easy walking distance of the main sites in Georgetown. It is spotlessly clean and the rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would certainly (and probably will) go back.

I really can't think of anything not to like. I guess if there's anything, I booked without breakfast but on the one day I chose to east in the restaurant, I couldn't put breakfast on my bill - I had to go to reception to pre-pay before I could go in. A bit unusual and not really too serious but that could be smoothed out.

Location is v central to street arts and Lebuh Chulia, Armenian Street. Rain shower v strong and comfortable. Bed is comfortable. Car park is convenient and free (need to validate touch n go with reception). Room size and toilet size is pretty good. Housekeeping daily and it's really clean. Up to Japanese standard. There's a station for CAT bus (free shuttle around Georgetown) about 3 min walk away. Further down is the famous Ali Nasi Lemak Bungkus about 5 min walk from hotel. About 10 min walk to Fort Cornwallis and the Esplanade. Hotel is also at a quiet part of Georgetown but still very central. Really worth the money. Didn't have any breakfast there - the whole point of Penang is to go out early enjoy the local breakfast places there! Penang Hill is 20 min drive.

Toiletries given are mediocre. hotel has no pool or gym or other facilities, but it serves the purpose for comfortable night rest and go out the whole day for exploring. If you're looking to enjoy the hotel and its facitlities, then this is not a suitable hotel for you. There's only one chair in the room. So if you want to buy back some food or snacks to eat, have to sit on the bed, which then will dirty the bed. Hotel should consider putting another smaller stool and coffee table. there's a big empty space next to the king bed.

This was my forth stay here. It is without doubt my hotel of choice. Modern, comfortable and very good value. The hotel is well placed to see most of the important sights of George Town. Great cafes and restaurants nearby. I had a room with a balcony - easy to get fresh air if you want it. The aircon worker well and the shower was perfection. If you want comfort to come home to after the heat of the day this is a great choice.

I tried hard to think of something but honestly could not think of anything.

Clean, spacious, stylish and comfortable. AC worked really well. Responsive staff. Old town, art street and jetty are within walking distance. Convenience store just next door and coffee shop accross the street.

You can still hear a bit sound from the street at night.

Perfect Experience, Highly Recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I must say it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Everything was simply perfect – from start to finish. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with incredibly comfortable beds that ensured a great night’s sleep. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive – they really went out of their way to make sure my stay was the best it could be. I felt truly welcomed and at home. As for the food – it was absolutely delicious! Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and diverse. I haven’t had such great cuisine in a long time. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with my stay and am giving this hotel a solid 5 stars. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for quality and a pleasant stay. Thank you to the entire hotel team for such an unforgettable experience!

The room was really nice and enough for one person it was situated in a silence part of the hotel. The room was clean and nice. The hotel location was ideal as it is easy to visit by foot the city in a few hours it is close to most street art in penang and the must see principal location. Had really nice cafe, restaurant bar cross and at a 4 minute walk other well location and nice cafe at 10 minutes. Have at 10-15 minutes walk the nicest must see street art and the hotel itself is really good and nice.

The view wasn’t that great but it was overall nice since I did not have the car passing noise. The cleaning was done really late which kind of disturbed my day but it was overall okay.
