I enjoyed the stay, the room were clean. Staff was very nice and location of the hotel is nice too. It is closer to the airport than the majority of the hotel zone. The beach was great, and we did not have lots of rocks like many other hotels down south from Emporio.

I did not quite like how the thermostat works at the room. Also we had a few times a problem with the warm water at around 10 PM, I guess during peak hours. However, considering how hot it is in Cancun, it feels good to take refreshing showers :)

This hotel was probably the most clean hotel I've ever stayed at. Better brush up on your Spanish if you don't speak it. Many employees speak little to none--all staff was very kind and accommodating. Our room was fantastic--opens right out to infinity pool, spa and the ocean is steps away. This is not a "swimming" beach--mostly only wading as there are too many rocks and dangerous currents. Food was just okay (not bad though), including the Italian Restaurant, Fasano (Argentinian) and the buffet. I would stay here again.

If you want to actually "swim" in the ocean, this property is not for you. The beach is nice and clean, but too many rocks and dangerous currents.

very clean, very good services, a variety of amenities and overall an excellent hotel

only issue - adult pool. every day there would be children in this pool which we didn’t enjoy. some staff would challenge this but not enough. parents happy to let kids in there so they can sit round the swim up bar but there are two other pools for children which we found to be hardly used. as a couple with no children this was the one thing that made us book with Emporio and we didn’t enjoy this. start charging parents $200 pesos every time and I guarantee the pool will actually be adult only then!

Terrific food and great stuff Very family friendly Good location: right next to the meusium of Maya Cancun, close to a bus station, two convenience stores

Poor response to call, had to physically come to the reception or concierge to make a restaurant reservation Timeshare sales pitch at pool sides

Amazing food, great pool with swim up bar, great cocktails, great location. The restaurant staff, staff with pool towels and bar staff were all amazing and it felt like they genuinely cared about you having a great vacation. The restaurant had incredible ocean views. The rooms were so comfortable.

The staff on front desk to check in were terrible!!! So unhelpful and rude. We went to check in after a 10 hour flight and they pretended not to see us for ages. It’s like they think they are too cool to speak, so weird. It is a terrible welcome to an otherwise amazing hotel. Also a terrible representation for all the other staff who are amazing. Also the entertainment in the evening is very bad/basically non existent. Consisted of one night of three people kind of dancing next to the pool.

This place is beautiful. I highly recommend ‘all inclusive’. If you’re going to splurge on a trip, then enjoy this 5 star food because it’s all OFF THE HOOK. The cocktails were a little weak, but they’re doing you a favor drinking in the sun and water all day. All of the wait staff talked to you like a loving family member. The entire resort looks like an empire fit for a king and queen. Even the lifeguards are fantastic. We watched one save a lady from an undercurrent and it was quick and swift. Aquahut is a quick walk or even quick bus ride if you want to snorkel, take a submarine ride, take a fishing charter, etc. Waverunner rentals are right on the beach.

The ONLY downside to our experience was checking in. After a long flight and a long day, we waited in line in the lobby nearly 2 hours. There were only 2 people at the desk which is not nearly enough for the amount of people coming and going. It put us in a ‘mood’ for the rest of the day, but by morning we got over it and loved every second of our stay.

I love the pool and it’s super close to the beach.

Cleaning of the room can happen at anytime of the day. There is not a set time. One day they came at 10, the next day they came at 17:30. If you want to sleep or relax in the room, you always have in mind that they are going to come, but you don’t know when. One think I didn’t like it and it looked suspicious was that even though I paid everything, when I checked out they asked me more money for taxes. If you pay everything, taxes included, why when you check out suddenly you have to pay more taxes?

Perfect Location, walkable to the famous Playa Delfines and El Rey about 10 mins. Bus stop is right outside the hotel if you are not fit to walk. A oxxo is right outside the hotel, 7-11 is opposite. The pool area is big and with options. There are pools for kids, pools for adult only, pool with a bar, pool with bubble. Direct access to the beach. If you are up for activities or tour, you can enroll yourself at the activity counters.

The check in is a mess, try to avoid checking in on the dot. Everybody wants to check in at 15.00, if i knew how chaotic it would be, I would have dropped my luggages and come back 1 hour later when there were less people.

Hotel was nice for price, room was good, views were great pool area is very nice great for families food at the mexican restaurant is excellent my overall stay was pleasant and enjoyable

The drinks at bar are horrible and you could literally watch them poor water into your drinks to water them down which is bizarre I think we pay alot of money for accommodations for them to be able to serve us better drinks, food in all areas is bad except the Mexican restaurant which was the only good food experience I had while there food at bar isnt too bad but takes a long time to arrive lobby area is hot and could be better they could have more live entertainment but the worse part about hotel is the food and terrible drinks

We had an ocean view room on the 8th floor. The sunrises and sunsets were just breathtaking! The swimming pools were very nice too although we spend most of our time on the beach just by the hotel. Breakfast was tasty and had a lot of varieties. All the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Big shout out to the lady (Gina) in the jewellery shop in the hotel. She helped us to get the beautiful pendants with Mayan translations of our names. What an amazing souvenir! Although the hotel is a little bit further from the main strip that wasn't a problem because just outside the hotel on the main road you can catch very frequent local buses R1 or R2 which will take you there very quickly for just 12 pesos.

Nothing. Everything was just perfect.
