The room was very clean and had a wonderful view to the ocean and the swimming pool. Staff were incredibly friendly, particularly with our 8 years old daughter. She loved eating at Ventana restaurant as there was a great variety of food and she could try new things every night. The day we left the chef even prepared her a special plate of strawberries covered in white chocolate with a goodbye message. She loved it. Great praise also to the entertainment team/ equipe de esportes who was organising little games by the pool. Our daughter and the adults too very much enjoyed them. The prize for the winner was a Wyndam Alltra cap. We played many of the games and got second place many times and our daughter got a bit sad about never winning. I explained this to the concierge at check out and the lovely lady got our daughter one of the cap - free of charge. We also enjoyed very much the night entertainment - we saw 3 different 50 minutes shows in the ballroom during our stay and one by the pool with acrobats! On the last day check out was at 12, but out plane was at 19:00. They changed our wrist band to one that allowed us access to all facilities and drinks free of charge till we were collected by our taxi at 5pm. All we can say is that we had a fabulous stay and we wish we had more time to stay longer... This hotel was perfect for us a family!

All of the staff were very attentive to the needs of the guests. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We rented a cabana and the servers were attentive all day long bringing drinks and snacks. Neftali and Norma provided exceptional service. The entertainment staff were energetic, fun and very engaged in making sure guests were having a good time. All of the entertainment crew were tons of fun. Highlights included…salsa dancing instruction from Alonso and Isai, Beach walk with Griselle, cooking class with Claudia, Yoga with Lucy, pool Zumba with Jonathan, beach volleyball with Reuben and Carlos. We also really enjoyed our time playing in the waves at the beach. We had a family of 5, and I was very impressed that the resort have a variety of food to keep all of us fed and happy. The taco bar on the beach served all you can eat tacos every day from noon-5 pm. And mom teenage sons loved the tacos! And, they also served grilled chicken by the pool all afternoon too. So I could relax and the kids had easy access to food, drinks, and activities all day long!! Very relaxing and fun trip. The variety of activities, food, and drinks available assured that every member of the family could find both food and activities that interested them. would go back next time we are looking for a relaxing family vacation

I read so many reviews before and even after I booked this hotel and was still a little hesitant about going due to some mixed reviews but there was no need! Cleanliness is one of my biggest concerns when I travel and this hotel was spotless. The rooms, the common areas, the restrooms, and the restaurants were some of the cleanest I have ever seen. Yes, some of the hotel is a little dated but it is not dirty at all. I think they might still be in the process of updating their rooms because the room I booked did not look like the picture on the website (no hammock and the seating area was quit small- two chairs and a table pushed right in front of the sliding door to the balcony). I was not there to be in my room so I didn't mind. While the beach did have some seaweed, there was a tractor that raked it and the water was still very clear and the beach was clean. There is a lifeguard on duty if you have children and want to ensure there is that additional layer of safety. I am vegan and had no difficulty finding food to eat. The staff was accommodating with my dietary preferences and never made me feel like I was an inconvenience. The entire staff at this hotel works so, so hard. I was blown away by everyone's work ethic. I took myself on vacation (aka I went alone) and found the resort to be welcoming to singles, couples, and families. I was able to relax and read books all day on the beach which was exactly what I wanted. I never felt unsafe or uncomfortable. I also enjoyed the nightly entertainment even though the shows were definitely geared more towards kids and families. I would like to give a special thank you to Antonio at the front desk, Ivan at Casa Rosa, Hipolito one of the servers, and Claudia and Jesus at the pool. I wish I had written down more names because I was truly impressed with everyone that I came into contact with.

There really is very little that I did not enjoy. I had two beds in my room and one was very uncomfortable (the mattress was very saggy) but the other one was okay. It would also be nice if there were more umbrellas and lounge chairs on the beach. It could be challenging to find a place to sit at times but I did go in the middle of the summer.

We have 3 kids, 2 adults and 2 senior, family vacation and we tried to book a hotel to pleased everyone. and this hotel meet the expectation. all our kids love how big the pools are even had kids playing section with staffs watching them whole time. love the bar and vip lounge to enjoy the drinks everyday. we all loved the food quality of the hotel! the hotel's restaurants' stuffs might look bit aged, but the foods were wonderful so we enjoy every breakfast and dinner. there is a cafe that you can always take snacks, fruits, coffee, and bread so everytime we leave, we could ask foods to go. the bar plays different music every night, have different program for people to enjoy. :) The beach in front of us was clear and nice. Wish we could stay there longer!! ahhh! and all the staffs were so mice and kind.

the hotel looks bit older than i expected. I guess I expected everything would look like a new. but they aren't. But all of the place, the staffs work hard to maintain them well. so had no problem. Also, we loved all the restaurant's foods but asian restaurant. that restaurant needs better food.

The staff are nice and friendly, and the service is good as well. The food in the restaurants is wonderful and the menu is changed regularly.

The room is humid and moist, which might make you feel uncomfortable. The sound of the AC in my room is quite loud. Sometimes I have to turn it off, because we cannot bear it. The facilities are kinda old, but clean enough.

At sunset and Ventana restaurants and café were great, beach, water slides and pirate ship kept the kids happy all week, entertainment staff (beach sports and nightly shows) were outstanding, on-site Covid testing was efficient, bunk bed and trundle were perfect for our 3 kids, shower was large. Overall a wonderful trip!

Room smelled like mildew, pillows were very uncomfortable, toiletries provided were inadequate (we had to buy conditioner from the gift shop), couples massage on the beach was not private (and we were not notified of this beforehand). I wish they would offer bunk beds in oceanfront rooms - we would have definitely upgraded if they were available.

Excellent location. We loved the hotel. It was all in one and we enjoyed every minute. I would say the best thing is the kindness and service of the staff members. I would like to mention in particular Patricio who works at the bar in the 6th floor and Bladimir, the bartender who works at the bar by the beach. They were great people and prepared great drinks.

This resort was beyond our expectations: - Rooms: clean and everyday our feeling was that was becoming better and towards to our way of how we like our stuff; Good room, with silent air conditioning, good size of bathroom; - Location: perfect location, excellent beach and not much affected by the seaweed; - Food: we loved dining every time in different restaurants and even better because each one was totally different. Plenty of options in menu, all courses, Italian, Asian Mixed, Mexican and Natural cuisines. For breakfast and lunch you will have very good options too. The 24hr Cafe is very handy and each Taco, Grill, Hot Dog tents are strategically positioned to attend very well the people. The drinks are very good too! - Staff: we felt special during our stay. So many nice people there made our stay really remarkable. Aida from beach Cabanas, Hipolito from Casa da Rosa Mexican Restaurant, Martha and Mayra (masseuses) from Aura Spa, Jesus and Joshua from the front desk, we also give kudos for the Party Crew of the hotel, they were awesome, making everybody to have fun and respect everyone's boundaries as well. Definitely the staff is kind, respectful and the hotel is making a good job training with the best practices. It made the difference for us. I am sure that you will love this resort like us.

The desserts, with no exception they should to better, because everything put the bar very high, every dinner, every menu course, drinks, etc, but when come to desserts, definitely is a point to improve.

Honestly after reading the reviews, I knew the food had to be good. I’ll say I definitely recommend. The resort doesn’t have many pools so maybe get in when you feel there’s less people. The resort does have a dress code for dinner so no swim anything around that time. They do have activities throughout the day and night for families like beer contest, karaoke or yoga. The staff was amazing. For those of you whom get drunk or have that one drunk friend they will help you, trust me they gave endless support( i.e wheelchairs and room service). The concierge was so helpful calling and verifying reservations for excursions. The check in and check out process was very smooth. If you don’t want to wait in the airport hours before your flight feel free to stay at the resort until it’s time for you to leave. Truthfully a great experience and the people you meet here are so friendly.

One complaint would be to add some tequila to the mini bar, not just beer. Even just restocking it everyday as stated and adding more than one item especially for room sizes of more than one person. Other than that no complaints.

he hotel is very nice. It had two pools which are getting way too warm. There are several restaurants with nice food, the Italian restaurant is delicious. There is also an ice-cream bar with delicious ice. The people working there are making their best to accommodate you! The animation team is fun and there are lots of activities. The kids club is as of 4yo and there is a small aquapark only for kids. The beach is white and wide but the see weed is quite annoying. It’s also amazing to see the turtles coming from the see to lie their eggs on the beach every evening and the hotel releases just born turtles with the hotels guests. There are enough of chair on the beach and at the pool. The parking is free of charge. The family room is nice and big. There are toiletteries and hairdryer.

The hotel gets outdated and needs some renovations. Carpets at the kids pool are broken. The kids club is not so nice, kids can’t just come and play with the toys if they don’t like schedules activity. The music from the shows in the evening is way too loud near the area where family suits are. Knowing that kids go to sleep early and letting loud music till 23:30 is pretty annoying. The WiFi signal is sometimes poor.
