Lovely hotel situated into the reserve, 10 min walking distance from the Maya ruins The resort room are on the beach so be ready to find some insects...

During breakfast I had to pay for the water but there is a free water dispenser at reception... I do not understand. The reception forgot to book my taxi and we almost lost the bus to Cancun. Since the hotel is in the natural reserve, if you want go out between 8am to 5pm there is a federal tax to pay (once per day) Taxi in Tulum are quite expensive compared with rest of Mexico. From city center to the hotel 400mxn (negotiate with taxi driver before take the taxi).

The beach club and beach access was fantastic. Also walking through the bungalows and the resort was a delight, so beautiful

The hotel is right inside the national park "Parque del Juagar" so you really get to disconnect from the world and just enjoy the peace and beauty of nature. It’s super relaxing, and to top it off, it has a beautiful beach front perfect for unwinding and soaking it all in.

Just a heads-up—while the hotel is in a beautiful setting, there are a few things to keep in mind. The on-site restaurant is quite pricey, and there's an additional fee since you're inside the national park. If you're someone who likes to unwind with a little TV, the rooms don’t have televisions. The pool is on the smaller side and didn’t appear to be in use during our stay. Overall, the hotel could benefit from a few updates, but the location and natural surroundings definitely make up for some of that.

The staff, the location, the beach, the beach restaurant, and that special light, were all outstanding. We had a lovely brief stay that allowed us early, direct access to the Tulum ruins (as you are already in the Jaguar park), and a lovely time at the beach with the unique colours. The restaurant is at Tulum-level prices (i.e. expensive) but everything we eat was excellent and the staff were very efficient, fast, kind and friendly. The breakfast was very good too, and kids friendly, and mostly included. We saw no evidence of what other travellers complained of.

We stayed in a room in the main building, so cannot comment on other room types. Yes the room facilities are somewhat run down and simple, apart from excellent aircon which is essential. Do not come here if you are the White Lotus kind. If however you are not, this will be a comfortable enough stay, very clean and pleasant with its own relaxed charm and decadence in a simply unique and stunning location. All families and adults around us seemed relaxed and happy and we loved our brief time here. While expensive, and please factor in extra costs for access to the park (every time you enter) and separately the ruins, this was much cheaper than the more pristine resorts further up and down the coast, so overall good value for money.

We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach. Everything was beautiful, clean, and safe. The staff was AMAZING, respectful, and courteous, especially the staff working at the front desk -- Giovanni and Mily. They will be the main reason if we do return, to return to this hotel. Giovanni and Mily were so kind and helpful with all of our questions. They also gave awesome recommendations and made the trip even more worthwhile. The hotel restaurant food was delicious - even the free hotel breakfast was good, and the portion sizes were all fair.

While the location and closeness to the beach were convenient, you would have to pay a fee per person to (re)enter the park, where the hotel is located. While this was annoying, as guests of the hotel, you can enter before 6 am or after 5 pm to avoid paying these fees related to the National Park. You'll just have to show your hotel reservation to the National Guard.

The location is superb, the interior courtyard is dreamy. Breakfast is served quickly and is reasonable. At the beach, a sunbed is included and the prices for food and drinks are OK.

The first room we were given had a musty smell, the bathroom ceiling was full of musty and the hot water was not flowing. Then they changed our room and it was OK. Another issue to consider is the access to the park and the fees, every day we were asked for a new fee under various pretexts.

Location staying right on the beach is amazing and the staff is absolutely fantastic! The wildlife is also so special. The beach is not crowded and the facilities, bar and restaurant is great ! bungalows bathrooms are not private as there is no real door or roof of the bathroom. The water pressure in the shower could be better but you are staying at a beach !

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The bungalow was lovely and the surrounding area was beautiful and well-maintained. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful—special thanks to Carlos and his colleague at the reception for their warm hospitality and assistance throughout our visit. One suggestion for improvement: it would be more convenient if the cost of park entry were included in the hotel price. This small change would make the experience even smoother for guests.

Beautiful idyllic grounds. Our room was small but clean and modern. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. Plenty of cabanas to lounge in. Nice large dipping pool to cool off. The hotel is just a short walk to the archeological park, so very convenient for that.

The hours of the bar and restaurants. I was looking for a quiet holiday but didn't expect this. The beachfront bar closes at 7, but really they pack up at 6:30. The staff literally grabs the pillows from your back right at 6:30. The inland restaurant closes at 9 pm but they basically stopped serving at 8:30. We arrived at 8:30 and were offered only a quesidilla. The resort was pretty full, lots of people were coming in and being turned away so not sure why they close so early. The area is dead at night so your only choice of food past 8:30 pm is an expensive taxi to town.

This is an awesome place with a hut concept for rooms. Rooms are very basic including beds, mosquito nets (thank you, I loved them), sink, toilet and shower. Our room was probably 10x12 feet but had 2 double beds so fit my family of 2 adults and 2 kids. There is air conditioning but the breeze at certain times a year is perfect. There is no TV, no fancy amenities. There is a paid snacks basket. My bungalow had a fence around it with a table and chairs within the fence but outside in the sand. There is no running/ play area in doors but you Walk out and there beautiful white sand all around and then comfortable beach club area on the premises and then the beach and ocean outside the ropes. It's perfect for anyone wanting a calm vacation destination with all minimal needs and a restaurant and an absolutely gorgeous view of the ocean.

My kids like to play in the room. Definitely not enough space for that. But we can totally manage by being outdoors.
