Everything thing is fantastic. The food is expensive but incredibly delicious. Samual the restraint manager makes a wonderful cocktail. The Aperol spritz was our favorite.

i wish there was direct beach/swimming access at the hotel, but the sister hotel just Mezzanine is just a short walk away and has a great beach and swimming.

The property was amazing. The views of the pool and ocean. The staff was very friendly!!

The room I booked. Wasn’t the room I was given. I was suppose to have a balcony sea view, but was given a sea view garden view. I wasn’t happy about that

The hotel was lovely, staff were particularly nice. The breakfast was fantastic as were the cocktails. We had a spa treatment which was lovely. Location was a bit out of the way… about 20 mins In taxi to get to the area with lots of bars etc. This hotel was beautiful, perfect for couples. Sun loungers on the rocks overlooking the beach, local wildlife. All gorgeous.

The room was noisy. We were right by reception so we heard everyone coming in, talking, suitcases rolling over the decking outside the room. There was also a little construction outside as they were building a proper road. This is no fault of the hotel and tbh only disturbed us for two days. Hopefully make accessing the property easier because it was tricky to find on a one way system.

Loved the private and secluded feel of this hotel. Very cool vibe. Felt like Hawaii at times. Staff was nice and food was wonderful. The bungalows on the rocks overlooking the water were the highlight of this hotel. Very unique and I don’t think any other hotels have anything like this. Felt like we had the hotel all to ourselves even though I believe it was sold out.

While the rocks were cool, I missed not having a beach out front. You can get to the sand, but it's a short walk down the road. The pool was hard to get in and out of without feeling like I was disturbing others. I did not like the expensive taxis and how hard it was to get back to the hotel whenever we left. This was the biggest negative. But that's what kind of makes it secluded I guess.

Unfortunately, we had to leave on emergency because of health issues while pregnant. In the midst of the pain the hotel called a doctor to give us advice. The doctor arrived within an hour and helped us through the pain. I vomited a couple of times in our room due to the pain I was experiencing. The hotel cleaners cleaned it right away, where incredibly kind, and discrete. Our baby is ok but we had to leave prematurely to get medical help in our country. The service was amazing.

The food was great, I just wished they had more Mexican food options on their menu.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mi Amor in Tulum, and I can't say enough good things about my experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any request or provide recommendations for things to do in Tulum. They even surprised me with a special welcome treat in my room, which was a delightful touch. The hotel's restaurant served delicious cuisine, and I enjoyed every meal I had there. The chef's creativity and the use of fresh, local ingredients made dining at the hotel a memorable experience. One evening, I needed help arranging transportation for an restaurant reservation and not only the hotel staff not only organized it for me but also followed up to ensure everything went smoothly. Their commitment to making my stay stress-free was truly remarkable. The location of Mi Amor was also fantastic, with easy access to Tulum's beautiful beaches and vibrant nightlife. I appreciated the quiet retreat it offered, while still being close to all the action. Overall, my stay at this boutique hotel in Tulum exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of impeccable service, charming ambiance, and convenient location made it a truly unforgettable experience. I can't wait to return and enjoy their hospitality once again.

First let me start by thanking Denise for a job well done as the manager! I would also like to thank the extraordinary staff from waiters, waitresses and house cleaning crew for the extraordinary accommodating job they do every day. I am always intrigued when I travel places I've never traveled as a SOLO TRAVELER! I would like to say that although this hotel is recognized for their couples retreat I've seen entire family members during my stay!!! CORRECTION the restaurant is open to the public family and children over the age of 12 years and older. Thank you so much for the birthday wishes and the beautiful ambiance of my room. I definitely recommend Mi Amor to provide you with a pleasant experience with lots of humidity.

They don't have a shuttle to the airport however they have a private company that they utilize to transport you to and from round trip mine was originally $280 American dollars. I must stress if you're going to use a private transport service in Mexico make sure you get that in writing before arrival. Make suggestions if you can for your driver to atleast speak enough English to announce to you what's going on along your drive. Also don't let them try and change the price on you while you're sitting in the vehicle on drop off. Whatever your original price was stated to you through email is exactly the price you will pay.

honestly AMAZING! the amount you pay is so good for the facilities, room, service and grounds. Most hotels in this area are really expensive but this I think is great value for your money. everyone was so lovely and attentive and you really felt like you were taken care of. little touches like different hot teas left on your bed every night and the welcome drink really made it 5 star. would recommend for couples who want a romantic getaway. also happy hour love it!

we personally loved everything. But the rooms may not have as much privacy as most people would like - we were in room 9 and it was not on the waterfront so not many people walking past our pool (just the staff). but to get to the cabanas you do have to walk past people pools, you do feel a little awkward.

perfected the little details when it comes to comfort and feeling like you’re at home! oh and the view is phenomenal

service in restaurants (like everywhere in Mexico) aren’t the best when it comes to making contact with the guests within the first couple of minutes and following up for orders and/or the bill.

I had a wonderful stay at this quiet hotel. It provided a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere that was just what I needed. The tranquil surroundings allowed me to unwind and recharge, making my stay truly enjoyable. The staff was attentive and the amenities were great. If you're looking for a serene getaway, I highly recommend this hotel.
