The property itself is stunning and stylish and our vast room had an incredibly high ceiling with a huge picture window looking onto the garden. We had a little outdoor terrace with a lovely pool (not big but certainly more than a plunge pool). The bed was huge and very comfortable. The room opened onto a very pretty courtyard with hammocks and a fountain. We didn’t have breakfast there as there was a lovely restaurant across the square that did lovely Mexican breakfasts (Yerbabuena del Sisal) as the hotel offers continental breakfasts only. The location of the hotel was great - it was easy to park on the square and it was a lovely walk into the centre of Valladolid.

It felt as though the hotel room was very much an add-on to the shop and there was a general feeling that the room itself was a shop as everything was for sale! Whilst the room itself was stunning it wasn’t user friendly - the shower flooded, it wasn’t easy to use the shampoo etc as it was in huge glass bottles (for sale!) that you worried might break if you took into the shower. The lighting was terrible (atmospheric, but way too dark).

The hotel is situated in the corner of a quiet square at the end of Calzado de los Frailes, a trendy , street with upmarket shops , restaurants and bars and opposite the 16C Convento. There is an excellent vegetarian/ vegan restaurant in this street . So it was perfect for us. The hotel is beautifully decorated in the French chateau style, it has ( at present , it is expanding) only 4 suites, situated in each corner of a beautiful courtyard, with palms and hammocks and fountain.We had breakfast there which was delicious , fresh fruit, yogurt,homemade granola, toast , coffee and fresh orange juice. The staff are very attentive and helpful. A beautiful touch was we could choose perfume and toiletries to use for our stay from their own collection of Coqui Coqui perfumery. Everything is of high quality . We are so glad we discovered Meson Mandeville, it was a highlight experience of our trip.

Only small details considering the high level of the hotel, it could have had tissues, a waste paper basket in the bedroom, individual face cloths and a shower curtain for the roll top bath/ shower to stop the water going on the floor. But this didn’t detract from enjoying our stay.

Everything! Especially I would highlight the amazingly tasteful and creative design and extraordinary service. Got to be experienced to understand how unique Meson de Malleville is. Looking forward to coming back (stay longer) and also experiencing other Coqui Coqui properties!

This property is exceptional. Highly recommended. It's beautifully appointed, and the location was just perfect for us. I will definitely look to stay at some of the other properties in this group.

Gorgeous restored home in the heart of Valladolid. Impeccable design and comfort, and oh that perfume! Simply divine!

if you want to sleep in a perfumery decoration shop this is the place.

Coqui is all about selling their products, but they forget that it is not only about beautifully decoreted rooms, it is the total experience and service. The rooms are missing essential convenient things like there is no hand soap, body lotion or tissues. You need to go get the shower soap for your hands. There is also only one trash can next to the toilet where you have to throw the toilet paper. Breakfast is also very poor and made reluctantly (maybe because it was Easter?) the girl who had to make it also first encouraged us to have breakfast somewhere else, we would have done better
