a little oasis of tranquility… we were so sad to leave this place which says it all. Beautiful decor, immaculately clean, comfy huge bed, powerful shower & hot water which has been hard to come across on our trip so far! …. All the staff are so lovely, the super cool night guy who welcomed us home each night with a huge smile & the day staff Christina, Yuly, & Magaly who really make you feel so welcome! Massive thank you to these ladies who made our stay feel that bit extra special & for the complimentary valentines wine & chocolates. it really was a magical stay. the hotel was easy to find & a 15 minute stroll from El Centro… 20 mins to Calzadea de los Frailes. 5 minutes to the big supermarket to get room supplies for kitchenette, and at the bottom of the road is a specialty coffee shop where you can have beans grounds for use in your room coffee machine… we highly recommend the Chiapas coffee 👌🏻… there are so many amazing restaurants in Valladolid, but just along the road, do not miss the incredible “pastor” from el taco loco 👌🏻 🌮 Finally the small but perfect pool is super cool for a refreshing dip… the sun is on it during the morning if you want to top up your tan before going Cenote hunting!

We stayed one night in this hotel and we would have extended if we had the time. The room was very clean and cozy. We did not use the kitchen therefore we cannot say something about the equipment. But the room was huge and the bathroom had also a good size. We had the room directly beside the pool and we read some ratings that the pool is too loud and that you hear that in the room. We cannot confirm this. The hotel is not directly in the city center but you will reach the center after a 10 min walk. For us this is a comfortable distance. The pool area and the hotel in common is nicely decorated with a lot of plants. The air conditioning as well as the wifi worked absolutely fine but we've been there during off season. In summary the price-performance ratio is really good and we would stay there again.

Christina at the front desk was very helpful with all the services we needed. The hotel is luxurious - and so comfortable and quiet. We loved it. Lots of extras like ground coffee, treats and wine in your room. It was a dream to come back to every night after exploring Valladolid and the area around it. Super comfy beds, very large rooms with a sitting area for eating/snacking, and even a couch in your room for reading. High ceiling and hot water...a spiral staircase to the roof top in addition to a lovely deck/patio outside our room.

I like everything - not one complaint!

Room - big room and big bed. Room is stylish and very functional. There is a small terrace as well. All rooms equipped with fridge, coffee machine, microwave and some basic cutlery. It was all clean. AC working very efficiently. Public areas and pool are great - if all rooms are occupied I presume it might get crowded at the pool but it was not a case for us, every time we've used pool we did get it only for us. There are tables next to pool, good spot for breakfast or evening. Some nice extras from the hotel - complimentary water, two complimentary beers, two pepsi cans and some snacks. Staff was also very nice and helpful, partially English speaking. It total one of two best hotels we've visited during trip through Yucatan.

Not a minus, but something just to be aware - Location - it's not central. Still in a walking distance (10-15min to main square, even less to many bars/restaurants), neighborhood is safe all the way from center. It might be considered a downside, but at the same time if you want to visit cenotes, ek Belem, Chichen Itza by car it's s great location as main roads are close to the hotel (as well as road to Rio Lagartos and highway Cancun-Merida). There are also small shops (oxxo) and big markets (Chedraui) in the area. Depending on the needs location might be a big advantage but also disadvantage, so just worth to be aware

We stayed five nights at the property - we highly recommend it. It is a pleasant ten minute walk from Valladolid center and they rent bicycles from the hotel. There were three members of staff (Christina, another woman, and a man at night time) and they were very friendly, professional and helpful. The hotel has a beautiful swimming pool, and the apartment was very luxurious, with a huge comfortable bed,sofa area, beautiful tiled floor and private terrace atea for each apartment.

The water didn’t drain out of the shower well. we had to turn the shower off halfway through and wait for it to drain.

Big rooms, nice pool, welcome drinks and snacks. In general a comfy stay!

Our room had a kind of weird balcony with 1 chair and a stairs to an unfinished rooftop, couldn't really sit there. Rooms downstairs have a more charming terrace. Door from balcony couldn't be locked, not a big deal as no one can enter (no access to roof terrace) but still strange. First night a lot of flying ants, second night nothing after we killed them and staff might have done something.

We stayed two nights here, and used it as a base for our trips to Chichen Itzá and the Cenotes. We found the rooms big and beds very comfy! Christina and the team were very helpful and friendly with recommendations and organizing the scooter rental. The pool area is really nice to chill out.

Only negatives: wifi can be a bit weak and patchy on both the networks they have. Also, though the rooms are great overall, they aren’t very soundproof, so you can hear a lot of commotion on the streets outside sometimes.

we had a wonderful two night stay at sayab! the staff was super friendly and helpful, the rooms were very big and clean with a nice bed! the location was good, everything was close by (city center was a 13 minute walk). and lastly, the pool area was super cozy. especially at night, with the lights! would definitely book this hotel again in the future

If I have to say one thing: the pillows on the bed were too hard for me (but that’s a personal opinion)

I loved the overall style and decor. the pool area was charming. the check in was easy. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and was great at anticipating my needs. snacks and wine waiting for me when I checked in. I also liked that it was located in a more quiet part of town. the beds were very comfortable too!

little things that could be improved... 1. off color dry wall repair patches on the walls 2. rusted and worn water faucets 3. water leaked into the room through the windows during the rain, but of course the staff came up and cleaned the water without me even asking. 4. paint stains on the floor outside from when the spiral staircase was painted I still had a lovely stay!

Very nice and modern setup. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room had a few complementary drinks and a bottle of wine. This, together with the towel animals made arriving after a long bus-ride feel extra pleasant and relaxing. The pool area had a very premium feel to it.

TV in the room was ancient and wasn’t able to cast anything.
