Overall, no major negative comment. Only be aware that the "rooftop" is actually a restaurant where you need to eat to access it (i.e. it cannot be accessed freely and/or just to have a drink).

The hotel itself was truly amazing, the feel of a big complex with many ambiances was wonderful. The pool with bar, breakfast/restaurant area was just mesmerizing, terrace area at the 4th floor. Breakfast was amazing, you get coffee, juice, (the most amazing) bread with jam and butter, and one dish of preference. For additional dish you had to pay, but we managed to trade one juice for fresh fruit. The location was the best, it can’t get any better in Valladoid.

Bed wasn’t comfortable, but ok for 2 nights. There was a family of pigeons living outside our bathroom window. When we came the window was open and I nearly had a heart attack. Remained calmed for the rest of the trip with the window closed.

We've stayed here many times and we'll keep coming back. The restaurant is incredible, including the free breakfast. The whole vibe of the hotel is so awesome. The pool area is so beautiful and relaxing and the poolside bar is a great bonus where you can also get snacks like guacamole and chips (It might help if you know a little bit of Spanish). The staff are excellent and happy to help. The location in Valladolid cannot be beat. There's also a hip rooftop restaurant with a great view of the main square and church, great food and amazing cocktails. Do not hesitate to book a room here.

The pool is only open until 8:00 (though there were a couple times when we were there past 8 and nobody said anything, so maybe as long as you're quiet they don't care? haha).

Such a beautiful hotel, happy to have stayed here. This place couldn’t be situated better. From here you can drive to the cenotes or visit Chitzen Itza (do a guided tour!). The restaurant is actually really great and very aesthetic. They even have a separate vegan menu to my surprise. Locals come here to eat on the weekends with there family for a more elegant brunch. We didn’t find the terrace to be that spectacular but we did enjoy a nice cocktail here. Staff is really polite and friendly. Would recommend!

To the cleaning staff: please keep the door of the room closed when cleaning. Otherwise mosquitos come in all the time.

I liked the location and the place itself. The staff at the front desk and bar (pool side) were very friendly.

My #1 complaint about this property is going to be the restaurant. Just about any place that I've stayed around the world, that has a restaurant that is a "hot spot", has ALWAYS given seating preference to registered GUESTS over just anyone walking down the street hoping to get a bite to eat and walking in. I was clearly told by the hostess at this place that being registered guest at the hotel, did NOT matter at all to get a table on a rainy Tuesday night. I believe you should pay attention to this small detail, which can take you long ways with your guests, whether a continued or future guest. I won't discard you from my list of choices to stay in Valladolid, hoping to see a change. Thank you.

The Reception staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful; the hotel itself had a grand atmosphere; the pool was clean and big. Toiletry amenties were generous; AC and water pressure were terrific. Location is perfect to explore the town and shops. Plenty of nearby restaurants. Breakfast and menu in general offered a variety of choices at reasonable prices.The waiters were very attentive and proffesional . Ample parking space which was secure .

The bathroom could get easily messy as there were no hooks /racks for towels to keep them dry and not get wet when taking a shower. They had a wooden type ladder within the shower cubicle which was not very practical.

Location is perfect. Rooms and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. We travelled as a family of four (kids 10 & 12) and enjoyed our stay here. Valladolid is a great base for visiting nearby attractions and this was a nice stop to stay. It really is in the heart of valladolid. 5 min walk to cenote xaci which we loved (only 180pesos for the family). We also visited zazil Tunich underground cenote which was a magical experience and good option if it's raining. Really glad we chose this hotel and would recommend

Pool was full of bugs when we visited on the morning. I was surprised they hadn't fished them all out.

I like the mostly everything. Loved the old historical feel of the hotel, the halls, the rooms, the doors the balconies. I like that its not a big modern chain - I avoid those. It was warm, inviting and reminded me of old Mexico. A heads up to travelers - Its not a single building. The hotel has been added on to building by building over the years so its sort of a collection of different buildings with parking areas and the pool within. Breakfast in the hotel courtyard restaurant is fantastic. Dinner can be a little more hectic as the restaurant services a lot of non-hotel guests. Beds are not supper mushy, very comfortable.

Doubled edged sword on this one: Our two rooms opened onto a wonderful deck that overlooked the rooftop bar with a view of the church. Incredible on all counts. A little warning though, the Bar plays bumping music until very late... and you definitely hear it. We salved this issue by going to the bar until they closed :-)

Restaurant is very good. Room (superior double) was quite good. Bedding was good. Air conditioning/fan were very good. Staff was very pleasant. Room could use a chair. Safe in room was easy to use and excellent. Maid service excellent.

Occasional lack of hot water late in the evening. Parking is tight (altho the attendants DO help a lot). Night time street noise (3 Kings holiday sirens, etc.) came into room thru bathroom window (too high to close). Front steps (facing plaza) a bit awkward (too high). Info regarding roof top dining should be more easily available. I found the swimming pool not inviting ... a bit "too public" ... could use a little more privacy. Oversize sink in bathroom left little room for personal bathroom items.

It was clean right at the center of the city. 10 out of 10 on location. Restaurant inside hotel. Tourist office right outside the hotel made it easy. Oxxo is one block away for 24 hr coffee/snack. Very safe city.

The power outlets had low voltage. My phone took all night to charge. I tried multiple chargers across all outlets and it was all the same. I came for leisure wasnt a problem for me to charge once all day but if you depend on electriciry for work or laptops i can see this being a problem. I also didnt like that the bathroom/bedroom doesnt have curtains. The windows are facing a wall but I personallt still felt a bit uncomfortable to shower.
