This is a gem of a hotel, made complete by its incredibly helpful staff. We have travelled to Marrakesh often and can honestly say that this Riad stands out. Special mention for the judges lookout tower, where you get the best view imaginable.

We liked everything. Although upon arrival, make sure that you have been in contact with the hotel so that they can send someone to meet you in order to get you to the Riad door, without being bugged by unofficial guides/porters

We had such a great time staying at Dar El Qadi — a beautiful quiet space, stunning rooftop and a nice breakfast that varied slightly day-to-day, super clean and a great location for exploring the Medina as the majority of the main attractions are within walking distance. But by far the best thing about our stay was the staff! Everyone was so lovely and willing to help with absolutely anything we needed, from afternoon cups of tea to airport transfers — special shout out to Rashid who was especially great and made sure we had a screen to watch the Euros final on our first night 😁 We had a hammam treatment which was fab, and nice to be able to chill out afterwards in the room rather than trek across the Medina. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone for a brilliant and relaxing stay!

Nothing :)

The riad is a beautiful refuge from the hustle and bustle of the medina. Even in a place with famously good hospitality the staff stand out for their exceptional welcome and help throughout our stay. The rooms and beds are especially comfortable and the roof top is a delightful retreat to have breakfast or watch the sunset with a drink. We also really recommend their dinner. Unfortunately we didn’t get the chance to use the Hammam but that looked delightful too. Don’t hesitate to book this place - you won’t be sorry.

In addition to everything else, Nadia was wonderful in every way and her assistant Radidja and the night watchman Hassan were also exceedingly kind and caring and Nadia's meals served to us by Radidja were out of this world. We also very enjoyed the Hammam and massage services that Nadia arranged for us, in the riad, the first evening and we had the extraordinary good luck to be the only guests in this extraordinarily lovely, comfortable and absolutely quiet riad during our entire week-long stay. (No doubt this was due to the great heat at this time of year and few tourists in general.) This allowed us to take breakfasts and dinners in the beautiful open area downstairs and to spend late evenings on the roof terrace listening to the call to prayers at from all the different mosques nearby in the Medina....

Everything was just perfect..We are only sad that when we come back we probably won't be lucky enough to have the whole Riad el Qadi to ourselves again but wish a wonderful stay to anyone else who decides to take our advice and stay there. PS For travellers looking for something showy on the outside this is not the right place.... from the outside there's no way of guessing how wonderful and marvellous it is inside. It is located on a very quiet side street in 100% residential neighbourhood.

The breakfast was great, the location was excellent for exploring the Medina and seeing the local sights, the accommodation was comfortable and the roof terrace provided excellent views of the city and sunset but for us it was the staff that really made this a memorable trip, they were kind, welcoming, passionate and very knowledgeable. Mohamed really went above and beyond to ensure we got the most out of our visit. Could not recommend staying here more, if we come back to Marrakech this will be at the top of our list.

The Riad was charming from the moment you step through the door. I love how all the historical elements were retained such as the doors and the tower. We enjoyed the view of the Medina from there. The room was spacious and done up very well. All the staff were very welcoming and attentive. The owner was very personable, checked in on us daily and even walked us to our taxi on our last day. The location was great, it was more quiet and outside of the main tourist area but still very central to everything. It was 10 mins walk to the main square.

Loved everything but the bathroom door didn’t shut fully in our room.

Beautiful Dar, stunning architectural detail and history and with a unique tower you can climb for far reaching views. Extremely comfortable rooms (feather quilt and pillows), lovely bathroom with beautifully scented soaps and toiletries. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Beautiful rooftop terrace areas for relaxing. We also had an evening meal here which was cooked very well. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Only very minor point is we got a bit of hassle from locals on the street when walking to the Dar - we know this level of hassle of tourists is a part and parcel of visiting Marrakech but it seemed a bit more persistent in this area. But not a problem if you just ignore...

The breakfast was delicious and varied every morning according to the produce available. We also had our suppers, all delicious, at the Riad. We mainly had our meals on the terrasse on the roof which was always lovely and so atmospheric every time the call to prayer was made. Nothing was too much for the helpful staff Mohamed, Rachid and Sidonie to name a few. We really were made to feel at home in the most refined of surroundings. We will definitely come back and recommend it to friends and family.

We can't think of anything we didn't like. All was perfect. Just one night we were woken up by some noisy and disrespectful fellow travellers that stayed up late (it was after 2am) playing music and talking loudly on the terrasse, disregarding others (our suite had an open roof onto the terrasse) but that wasn't really the fault of the staff. Although next time I hope they will be stricter towards this kind of behaviour.

We enjoyed that the room was on the ground floor so we didn't to be lugging our bags up and down steep stairs We enjoyed the friendly welcome by Youseff and Mohammed. It wasn't too too far from a few good restaurants though one wrong turn and you could easily get lost. Because we only stayed one night we didn't get a chance to check out the facilities which included a great view of the Zouk from the rooftop, and a spa

This was the second of two Riads we stayed at in Marrakesh. It was an extra long walk from where we were let off and had not Youseff come to get us, no way we would have found it. FYI, whichever Riad you stay at, the staff will come get you. It was a good long walk to the tree taxi.

It was our first visit to Morocco, the property was beautiful and felt like a real safe haven in the heart of the medina The staff were amazing, advising us on where to go and providing us with some very special meals, I would definitely recommend pre-booking and experiencing their amazing Tagines. They made our stay feel very special with all the little touches like rose petals in the bathroom and beautiful breakfasts on the roof terrace
