Magnificent overall experience in Marrakesh! Super friendly and lovely hostess Dominique gave wonderful recommendations for sightseeings. The interior was authentic and cozy, rooms were clean and WiFi worked well. Delicious breakfast was cooked on sight. The entire hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. They help to arrange taxis, use trustworthy drivers and come out to meet arriving guests, so the hotel can be found withouth getting lost in the labyrinth of the streets. The hotel is like an oasis in the old town of Marrakesh. Definitely the best stay in Marrakesh!

Unfortunately, we fell for a scam right outside of the hotel. After researching it since, I found out it's a very common scam whereby locals offer to take you to a tannery, or festival of colour, where you see products made by mountain people who have been affected by the earthquakes. They tell you there is only one hour left to see the tannery or festival, and then guide you to it. Basically, it's in a bad area, they try to sell you things you don't want and then pressure you into paying them for their "tour". I would actually like the hotel to warn people about this scam as soon as they arrive. We saw so many groups falling for it, and it put a dampner on this otherwise great trip.

I really liked how we were welcomed by Dominique with Moroccan tea and cookies our first night she gave us instructions on how to maneuver through the Medina and always made sure the guys would accompany us outside. We felt very safe especially being three women alone in a foreign country. Our last night she got up at 3am in the morning to see us off and gave us a hug. Her and her staff were exceptional. We received fresh breakfast and it was always clean and we felt safe always.

Staying at Riad Dombaraka made our stay in Marracesch special. Location in the center of the Medina was perfect. The house is amazing with it's many places to relax....the court yard with it's trees and tropical plants, the rooftop terrace, breakfast on the terrace. And our room was tastefully decorated with a very comfortable bed. We also enjoyed the sunny sitting area in the library. Dominique is a wonderful hostess with great advice and suggestions ( which was a real bonus for us as we knew very little about Marracesch). She arranged an evening dinner in the beautiful dining room of the riad, a day trip to a Berber village in the Atlas mountains, and an evening concert in a historic Moroccan house. The staff was exceptional, so friendly and helpful. We left Riad Dombaraka with fond memories.

Nothing to not like.

The riad is stunning, even more than in the pictures, and the location is very handy to explore the Medina but the entrance to the riad is a bit hidden in an alley that can make you feel a bit unsafe in the night. I loved the library and watching the sunsets / sunrises on the roof terrace, so relaxing! The two young men working in the reception were super nice and they always tried to help me out with anything I could need ( directions, recommending restaurants, luggage, offering tea.. thanks) : ) I used the riad's airport transfer service at my arrival which I'd strongly recommend it to save time as it isnt easy to find your way in the Medina!

Although my room was beautiful and big I was a bit disappointed because it was not the one that I had chosen on Booking when I reserved it. The room I was given was darker than the one I was expecting and I specifically wanted a room with lots of sunlight ( coming from London...) and that was the main reason why I had liked the one in the pictures and discarded other riads. It also was cold, but I guess any other room would be similar as the temperature outside was about 3°C in the nights and mornings. I discussed this with the owner abd she explain that this was dued to a mistake in the listing of the rooms on Booking.com

The Riad was fantastic. The location couldn't be better - a few minutes walk from the main square, markets and Ben Youssef Medrasa. Dominique, the owner, was great - her lunch and dinner recommendations were spot on and the staff were very professional and helpful. The Riad itself is beautiful, a real hidden gem which has clearly been lovingly cared for and yet restored to make it comfortable and modern for the international visitor. The bed was fantastic and the breakfast delicious homemade bread and jams eaten on the roof terrace with a view over Marrakech. We loved our stay here - there really was noting to fault and we'd highly recommend it to anyone who would like an atmospheric, centrally located hotel with lots of character and a tasty homemade breakfast.

The riad was lovely - very traditional, and our room was comfortable. The roof terrace is a lovely spot to relax with a book in the sun and a beautiful view of the mountains. The staff were all very friendly and helpful (and Dominique too!). It’s in the perfect location to be a bit quieter than the busy main square, but very short walking distance to everything. We arrived by bus from the airport and it’s a ~15 min walk from the bus stop to the riad. Before we arrived, I was a bit concerned with safety but we felt safe in the area taking normal precautions.

We’re from a country that doesn’t use euros, so it was a bit confusing to be presented with prices in euros when we had local currency (dirhams), but this wasn’t really an issue!

Riad Dombaraka is a visual treat on the senses. It was stunning, so much attention to detail and every inch of it has beautiful, tasteful artefacts that simply blow you away! The staff are friendly and work very hard to keep the riad spotlessly clean and always with a smile on their faces. The breakfast was incredible, starting with an espresso coffee, before presenting you with a selection of tasty and varied dishes. Dominique phoned Tucs Tucs for us and was very helpful, she told us where to go and what to avoid. The location was perfect, easily within walking distance to the main attractions of the medina. The Riad was a calm, peaceful and welcoming respite from the busy, stimulating atmosphere of the Souks and main square. We loved every moment and we're very sad to leave. My bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. I highly recommend booking Riad Dombaraka, it will make your visit to Marrakech even more blissful.

The rooftop is currently not at it's full potential, due to some renovation work in progress. However we still sunbathed and it didn't change the wonderful experience we had in this Riad. Most parts are open and those that are, are very pretty. The views are incredible!

Great location and lovely Riad , excellent host madam Dominique and her team are exceptional in making sure guests are well looked after. It was my husband’s birthday and they baked a surprise cake for him( which was super yummy 🎂) and also did all the decorations which made the birthday so memorable for us and the family The team at the Riad are very service oriented, very well mannered and customer service is top priority The breakfast was also very decent and they catered to our needs based on our day trip timings Excellent location to the souks and the medina, 15 min walk to the main square which is very reasonable

When we arrived the A/C was not working and it was really very hot but eventually it got fixed later that day - so all good For next time it might be nice to have the rooms cooled a bit before guests arrive

This hotel is unified by the owner's aesthetic sense. They are also very kind to the guests, and their customer service is filled with the hope that they will enjoy their stay in Marrakech. For taxis from Marrakech airport, be sure to use the hotel's transfer. It's safe. My family of three stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days, and we had a relaxing time.
