Beautiful riad, conveniently located with great patisserie for cakes on corner and shops close by for bottled water which was handy. I felt safe and that my belongings were secure, riad was very clean, excellent food (both breakfast and evening meal), unlimited free mint tea, hot shower with toiletries, towels (fresh daily) and robe, rooftop for sunbathing/relaxing, lovely staff who look after you and help in anyway they can. Taxis were organised to/from airport which I appreciated as a solo traveller, helpful sign-in process with information about local area, where the nearest ATM was etc. Nice restaurant on corner if you don't fancy travelling far for food (Dar Marjana). Thank you Mohamed and Yassin.

As riad is traditionally small, noise travels easily between rooms and up from the seating/ courtyard area so you can be awoken by other guests easily if they are up and eating breakfast/chatting before you. This was a very minor annoyance, however, and wouldn't stop me from recommending the riad or from staying again.

They took care of our entire journey from the moment we got off the plane to the moment we boarded our return flight. We were warmly welcomed at the hotel, given detailed explanations about places to see on the map, and provided with opportunities for the activities we wanted to do. The atmosphere of the hotel and our room made us feel at home; we never felt like strangers. The hotel was not only aesthetically magnificent but also centrally located, within walking distance of everywhere. It was wonderful to wake up to the sun and have breakfast there. We had days that we will always remember.

Firstly the staff at the location were very accommodating and helpful. They spoke to us about Morocco and gave us traditional things to try which was very nice. They also helped with recommendations, they were very friendly. Secondly the location was amazing only a 12 minute walk from Jama El-fana and other locations that need to be seen. We walked from all the different directions and the maximum time we walked was 25 minutes to Jardin Majorelle! All the attractions are only a short walk away. Lastly, the Riad itself was beautiful it was beautifully decorated, my favourite part was having a delicious breakfast in the Riad by the pool. Overall, it was a great stay, I will book this Riad if I come to Marrakech again and I suggest you do too!

Nothing!

Riad Julia was our true oasis of well-being in the midst of hectic Marrakech. It is beautifully designed and very quiet. There aren't many rooms so there's plenty of space to relax. We often sat by the pool, which is just the right size to cool off in between. There are also nice, cozy places on the roof terrace. Our room was large, cleaned every day, and had everything you could need. The breakfast was delicious and very extensive. But the best thing is the staff! Hussein and Mohamed, who took turns, took great care of us and everything we needed. They are two very competent and wonderful people who made the riad feel like home to us. We would like to say a big thank you to both of them for everything!

We observed that Hussein and Mohamed, depending on who was there, were available around the clock and for any request and would like regular working hours for them. We as guests would feel more comfortable with that. Small fridges in the rooms would be great

This Riad is the best service Me and my partner have ever had wherever we’ve stayed. It’s central to Marrakech and it’s not a far walk to anywhere. We visited the Bahia palace, Marjorelle and also went to the Atlas Mountains on a partnered excursion along with Hammam at the sister Riad Sofia just a 2 minute walk away. They offer more for you to do but it’s fitting it all in that’s the only problem. Karim and Mohamed looked after us along with the cook and cleaner who was excellent, Both of them are to the highest level of hospitality and we actually couldn’t of asked for more with how they treated us. The riad itself is in a beautiful part of Marrakech away from the main Souks it sits near so many good restaurants and smaller Souks where you see less tourists and feels more authentic to Morocco. If I could say anything to anyone who’s thinking of staying here I’d say stay as long as possible and ask for recommendations on where and what to eat and if you’re looking to buy anything while here just ask and you’ll find help.

We loved our stay at Riad Julia. The location was excellent as close enough to the Médina but also far enough for the peace and quiet. The little streets are a maze but once we got there we had the route sussed and it was tucked away in a corner which meant complete peace and quiet. The Riad itself is very attractive with a lovely courtyard and also the roof terrace which got the best if the afternoon sun. Our room was in the first floor and although very firm the bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was perfect for our needs. Breakfast was served in the courtyard and always with a smile. The mint tea was also refreshing and lovely. We didn’t eat any main meals at the Riad but we did do the Hammam at the sister Riad Sofia, which was also a lovely experience. We would have no hesitation in recommending Riad Julia and Marrakech in general which was a fantastic trip.

The staff were amazing, they were so welcoming and always willing and on hand with any requests. We had breakfast each day which was always excellent and made for us precisely when we were ready. We had dinner one night and the variety and quality of our meal far surpassed the experiences we had with very good local restaurants. The room we stayed in was very traditional, like the whole Riad and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is in the heart of Marrakesh and you are only a few steps away from the hustle, bustle and chaos of the surrounding street life but the Riad was perfect solitude and calm.

It was a great place to rest from the busyness from the city. The staff is amazing and you can call them for everything. Shoutout to Jabbar in special for making our stay unforgettable. We also booked the cooking class from him. Wich was amazing and really tasty. I would also recommend the squad to agefaley and the hammam experience with massage. Over all a really great city and and stay we could call our home for this week. Would recommend this to everyone. Thanks Karim, Jabbar and the other staff. You guys rock!

I liked absolutely everything about Riad Julia: the central location, the prettiness of the place, the quietness, the cleanliness, the delicious breakfast and mint teas...it was amazing from all points. The most outstanding point was the incredible care that Mohammed and Abdo gave us during our stay, they couldn't have been any more helpful and kind. Thank you so much!

Nothing at all!
