Location amazing! Cute space with plenty of room. Could make coffee every morning. Staff was very efficient dealing with a few minor issues we had with the shower. Bed was comfortable. There was a nice place to sit and look out the window at our great view of the canal. Good insulating windows because it was quiet at night for us to sleep

Could use better lighting in the bathroom. No window in there and only a dim ceiling light. Towels smelled of strong detergent. We were fine with the steps, but could be an issue for someone with large luggage. It was a bit on the pricy side.

An absolutely lovely place to stay in a great part of Amsterdam. My host generously upgraded my room to one overlooking the canal. It was like a mini apartment with lovely touches like antique furniture, a real potted orchid and more "treats" than I could eat and drink by myself! Décor Canal House is very convenient for public transport, shopping, and nice places to eat. I would very happily stay again.

I was fine, but guests should be aware that the stairs are very steep and narrow (it's a tall Dutch house!). Also that it's not a guest house with a reception desk— but Jonathan the host was always responsive and available by text.

The stay at Decor Canal House definitely enhanced our time at Amsterdam.The overall experience was fantastic since our arrival until the last minute. The house is extremely well located and the accommodations was very comfortable. Decor Canal House is certainly a great place to stay for when will be returning to Amsterdam. The view is splendid, almost addictive . Unforgettable moments…

We had a great stay! Someone came to exchange towels and make the bed daily, which was not expected since we were not staying at a hotel, but appreciated. We also liked the daily chocolate, stroopwaffel and coffee that were available. The umbrella was thoughtful, considering we had a lot of rain! The location couldn't be better, and since our room was in the back of the building it was very quiet at night.

The room is small, especially if you are two people with large suitcases. Perhaps some shelving instead of the large chair would offer more storage!

Great location with a perfect Amsterdam view over a canal! comfortable bedding, comfortable temperature, smart tv, outlets (brings converter, If needed!) kitchenette was perfect (fridge & microwave available) & I appreciated that coffee, water & other beverages were also available. I really loved sitting at the table with my coffee/wine looking out the window!

This property is “almost“ perfect! My only struggle was the shower/tub. it felt narrow/cramped to me and I am only 5’1”. although I do have broad shoulders. there is a rain shower head that swivels and a hand held jet spray head as well, but only a half-glass door so I struggled a bit to be comfortable. Not a trip ruiner (for me) by any means, but a consideration. I would still book again.

Great location with an amazing view from the window into the canal. The room has everything for a short-term stay. Close to restaurants, public transport, and some attractions.

There was a party in the building next door, so I might use earplugs once (provided by the host). Nothing to do with the property itself

Stylish but homely feel, kettle and coffee machine, comfortable bed & great location. Nice touch having mini fridge with complimentary food & drinks. Free access to Netflix & Prime in multiple languages. Useful advice on things to do & eating out.

Could have provided a sponge & detergent to wash plates and cutlery. Difficult access to room with luggage due to narrow entrance & winding stairs.

The beautiful location can't be beat. The Studio room sleeps 2 and looks out onto the canal and the bridge over it. Sit at the window any time of day or night and watch the canal boats go by. The partial kitchen was fantastic for our family (2 of us in the Studio room and 2of us in the Standard room) for cold drinks and snacks. Tea, coffee, a bottle of wine and a Toblerone were in our room as we arrived. Everything is close by - The Anne Frank House, Negen Straatjes (9 Streets boutique shopping), Dam Square, and Restaurants galore! Museums were further but still within walking distance. Jonathan was friendly and very helpful. We fell asleep every night with the bells from the nearby Westerkerk church riging in the distance. We will definitely stay at Décor Canal House again.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. In general the room was really quiet. We appreciated that they provided a fridge, coffee maker, and hair dryer. They also left complimentary beverages, which was great.

We didn't see or hear from the host at all during our stay, which was generally fine but it would've been nice if he had checked in during our stay. There was also some loud construction very close to the window that started around 7:30am.

Amsterdam is my favourite city in the world to visit and I won't be looking for anywhere else to stay now that I've experienced the Decor House, absolutely fantastic. Location is perfect, beautiful room with ample space and nice kitchen and bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Thanks so much for everything and see you again next time.e
