This was my second time staying at Hotel La Belle Vue and again loved it! Breathtaking view from the triple room with balcony, clean and spacious room, clean bathroom, very kind and helpful staff, great location, luggage storage if needed - no complaints whatsoever. To touch on location more if you stay here you are within a stones throw of the main square with the national monument, also a stones throw away from 2 of arguably the best coffeeshops in Amsterdam which are The Plug Utopia and Terps Army, some other decent ones minutes away are Sativa and Grey Area so if you are someone who indulges in Amsterdams finest herbs you are in for a treat staying at this location with the high quality coffeeshops nearby and absolutely spoiled with proximity to them. I've been visiting Amsterdam for over 10 years now and finally found my home away from home at La Belle Vue, also I forgot the name of the lady at reception but I made a request last minute and she was kindly able to accommodate this which I appreciated so much so just wanted to extend my thanks again. Looking forward to seeing you again!

That I had to catch a flight back home!

The location was ideal. Easily accessible by tram from Amsterdam central. Close to Dam Square and Anne Frank’s House.

The door at the bottom of the stairs didn’t allow us access to the Belle Vue. Having to go through the door for the Hotel Diann instead. Which was fine but we were told our key would work.

Value for money and location can't be beat. Yes facilities are poor but it's not a 5 start hotel. Great place to stay location wise.

Rooms a little dirty nothing crazy. General dirt. Beds were cleaned and washed daily along with towels.

The hotel is a great location, and I had a stunning view from my room. The accommodations a very basic, but get the job done. Staff was kind and helpful!

My room had some quirks to be sure. The shower had no curtain or door, so inevitably water would get out of the tub. You also had to keep the door closed or risk the fire alarm going off. My bed was in a loft, which was fun - but it would have been better if the stairs were carpeted and there was an outlet available at bedside level instead of overhead.

Expectations were low due to the past reviews but honestly my experience was great. Price for what you’re getting is good yes it’s not top standards with all the pretty things but it gets the job done with a great location aswell

The room layouts are different so some rooms have certain additions but nothing else

This was a very good hotel with great staff, easy check in, great location and perfect room. I stayed in the triple with the balcony and the view was breathtaking, room was big bathroom was clean - perfect! Will only stay here if visiting Amsterdam in future

No complaints whatsoever

Excellent location and value for money. Friendly and available staff who were happy to respond to any queries or requests. Rooms were cleaned to a high standard every day. Easy check in and check out with the option to store bags.

Some of the rooms and decor were in need of an update however given the price and cleanliness of the rooms this was not a problem at all; overall we were very happy with the rooms and services provided.

I was travelling alone, for fun: great position. the first market near the hotel, coming from Dam's, has cheaper bottled water. as Italian, the best espresso was on the boulangerie downstairs. The room was clean, good shower. I had the most wonderful balcony with a boar, AMAZING VIEW, but look out for seagulls: they poop. also, you can ask any infos at the reception: they are super nice and cordial. Bonus +1: there was a cat at my arrival. .

the doors are self-closing: so, during the night they might be a little loud with people going in and out. I think the average turist doesn't have more than 35 yrs old. they do not allow visitors: which was perfectly okay with me, but if you're travelling alone for fun, maybe not what you're looking for.

Nice treatment and a permanent smile from all the staff at the front desk is very nice, as well as the maid who does room service. They were all great. I highly recommend going to this hotel.

Location perfect Price Perfect Even come back to my room.and their were cleaning it for us as they do every day we just chilled on balcony the lady and the rest the team are so friendly and nice second time staying their and will be back after Xmas and new year for sure
