The hotel is in a great location, right next to Amsterdam Sloterdijk station, so getting around is very easy. You only need to take one stop to reach the city center. There’s a market open until late right under the hotel, and there are also some places to eat nearby, including options at the station. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were generally nice, and the beds were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was enough, and even though it was busy, we didn’t have trouble finding a table. The room was clean enough for me; I noticed some stains on the carpet, but since we wore shoes in the room, it didn’t bother me.

One of our rooms was a bit cold. The staff gave us a heater, which helped, but I would have preferred a working air conditioner. The fire alarm went off on two of the three days, and we were told they were false alarms. This could be fixed, because if it keeps happening, guests might not take the alarm seriously in a real emergency, which could be dangerous. Also, when I first tried to heat water for tea, I noticed the kettle was overheating even though it was empty. The switch must have been left on, and it started heating when I put the room card in. This could be dangerous if not noticed, so I recommend the staff and guests be careful.

Close to the train station (when you get out of the hotel, turn right for the correct entrance and platform at the station) and just a few minutes away from Central Amsterdam. Room was very comfortable. Stuff is international and extremely friendly.

Breakfast is okay, but nothing special.

The exterior of the hotel looks quite ordinary, but the interior is very modern. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and tidy, making it quite comfortable. Since we checked in very late (11:45PM) on the first day, the hot water in the hotel bathroom was unstable, sometimes cold and sometimes hot. The floors were quite low, and the windows were close to the street, so it was noisy. The next day, I communicated with the front desk, and they immediately arranged for us to change rooms. The hotel is just one stop from the airport, about a 10-minute by train. From the train station, turn left and walk for three minutes to reach the hotel front desk. It’s also just one stop by train to Amsterdam city centre, about 10 minutes, so it’s very convenient to visit any attractions in Amsterdam. The hotel staff, including the front desk, breakfast staff, and cleaners, were all very friendly. A simple breakfast is provided every day. Since we stayed for 5 days, the breakfast felt a bit repetitive (except for one type of cheese that changes every other day). It would be nice if the breakfast options could change every other day. There is a convenience store downstairs that operates until midnight, making it very convenient to buy snacks and drinks.

The location was perfect for us, 20 mins to Central Station by the GVB, which is a cheap train service, similar to underground.The station is right next door to the hotel There is a Spar right next door to the hotel and the beds are very comfy, the room was clean and the shower was so nice. Hairdryer provided too. Breakfast was plentiful although I did miss my bacon and sausage but a vast range of options. The hot menu was toast, tomato, scrambled egg, boiled egg, but overall very nice. And the catering staff were very pleasant. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Bacon and Sausage available. This was my only moan. Although there was a hot choice.. a toasted bacon sandwich would have been 5 star!!

A COMPLEMENTARY DRINKING WATER BOTTLE WOULD HAVE MADE IT BETTER

It was very near to Sloterdijk station and flix bus stop. Room was spacious and very clean. Staff was supportive with all queries. They even cleaned the room on 2nd day. Breakfast was also good and had several options.

All good, no issues that we faced

I think this can easily be the most convenient location in Amsterdam. It is just 2 stops away from the airport (10 minutes) and 1 stop (5 minutes) from the Central Station. The station is literally next door - 1 minute walk and if you need a tram - it’s a 2 minute walk too. We were leaving on Sunday and we checked out and left our bags at the hotel and went to the centre for a coffee and went back to the hotel before heading to the airport. Just shows you how close you can be to the centre and Schiphol Airport. Tram 19 which you can take just behind the hotel takes you to many places in the centre including the museums (Rijks and Van Gogh) and also the Vondelpark. If you are there for 2 nights or so I’d highly recommend buying 3-day pass. It covers all transport. Breakfast was ok. Staff are nice and pleasant. Shower was spacious and good pressure of the water. Clean bathroom. You have a kettle with tea and coffee. No fridge, though. It was quiet with windows closed but can get noisy if the window is open. Grocery shop SPAR is downstairs.

The beds are very comfortable, and their are a number of electrical outlets which isn't always the case in Europe. Roomy shower for my tall husband, adequate breakfast for this type of property. Noon check out time is appreciated.

The windows leak. We new noise would be an issue as it's near a train station. However, we arrived during a wind storm, this property needs to replace the windows. Not a fan of the glass bathroom door. You can't close the door while others are sleeping without a "clunking" sound. The area currently has much road instruction, and getting to the parking lot was quite the challenge. The front desk gal wasn't able to give us instructions. Thankfully I remembered a bus lane that lead us to the garage.

There was a good selection for breakfast. The reception staff were very helpful. I liked the security system used within the lifts whereby people not staying at the hotel could not access the bedrooms. This made us feel secure and safe. The fact that there is a transport hub within a very easy walk made the location of the hotel excellent.

The access to the hotel was not obvious, Tom Tom brought us to the back of the hotel where the Bus and Tram station is. There was no obvious access to the front of the hotel and the parking area. Never having driven in that part of Amsterdam it is quite confusing, we ended up driving along the cycle path to access the parking area.
