Staff were super friendly and helpful, sorted out any queries and issues we had straight away. Good breakfast for €14,50, could go down in the morning and book for the same day no problems whatsoever. We were a bit skeptical after reading some awful reviews about the place but by the time we arrived we couldn’t fathom how these people could have had such an awful experience, any excuse to complain is all I can think of. Tram stop was 5 minutes away and they came every 10, perfect for getting around and are super easy to use. Could also buy passes for the public transport at the hotel reception.

The only issue we had was we woke up a couple mornings with bites all over us, after a bit of discussion and research we concluded they were bed bugs. However for us it really didn’t change much, you’re not gonna die from them so for those who made such a fuss in a few of the reviews about it, grow a pair!

Breakfast had a nice selection of foods and had a nice time frame for all purposes. Location was futher out than expected to central amsterdam but public transport was close and easy to use.

Shame there wasn't a kettle in the room as this did let it down but other than that it was a great stay. Also despite the signs saying towels will only be changed if on the floor we ended up with 6 towels for 2 people which was a bit overkill. Beware of killer bikes.

I liked everything! The staff was really kind! They were really helpful in all of our needed !! The place is clean, comfortable and quiet! was a really beautiful experience!! You are like a 20 minutes from the center and from schiphol airport, so is a really nice place if you don’t wanna be in the middle of the crowd!

It was our second time in the hotel - it is conveniently located, has free parking, and for us for 1-night visits it is almost ideal. The hotel is simple but clean, breakfast is good, it is 10 min to the tram through the nice park, and 30 min by tram to the very center of the city.

The neighbourhood was noisy that night, and my husband didn't sleep well (light sleep). The sound isolation could be better. No water is suggested upon arrival in the room. The hotel is a bit overpriced; still, convenience for us outweighs the inconvenience.

• the mattress were a little worn out not firm enough • we wished the restaurant could have offered more than a limited selection of heated frozen pizzas, but this is only a wishful option.

Room was comfortable and clean, breakfast was good, staff was polite. In general, accommodation in Amsterdam is very expensive, and this hotel has a more reasonable price comparing to the others. To get from/to the airport, there is bus 369, which is part of GVB network, so you may use standard 1,2,3...-day tickets (there are sold at the reception, as well as at the AKO store at the airport).

Check-in is at 3 pm. Fee for early check-in is 20€. As many other said in their comments, there is no kettle in the room. Windows can't be fully opened, and it's warm during hot days. I understand each of these things to some extent, but I'm just writing down and mentioning for other potential guests to know what to expect. In general, I'm satisfied with the accommodation.

Nice comfortable hotel with very helpful staff. Things to do in the hotel like play pool, walk about, etc. We explored the city and surrounding all day and returned to the hotel to sleep. The car park is free. It is on street parking but it was very convenient. So parked the car and took the tram to the city centre. There are a few supermarkets near by and nice restaurants too. No tea or coffee in the room so had to come down every morning to get Euro2 coffee from the machine. It kept us going until we had brunch in town. Staff were brilliant. The rooms were spacious and clean.

The main issue we had was having to buy the coffee downstairs every morning. Other than that everything was ok.. bit pricey from all the places we stayed for this particular holiday but I guess that the way it is. we saved on parking which was brilliant !

Cozy, warm picture on the wall about windmills at night. Relatively big desk in case you would work. Fast WiFi connection. Kind and direct staff at the reception.

There is no radiator (central heating system), but local airconditioner which has a digital controller on the wall. Max. 24 C degrees can be set. In case you increase it, then it will switch back to 24 C degrees. When I arrived the temperature outside was around 0 C degrees and my room was cold as the staff did not switch on the heating in the room. It took for long hours while the airco was warming up the room, but the big (non isolated) windows have dissipated the heat, so it was really challenging to reach some warm in the room.

Their staff was very helpful and very client centered, constantly asking for feedback. One of the young reception ladies actually exceeded her record and her normal tasks to help me resolve an inmportant issue for the purpose of my travel, own initiative(pro active finding solutions).

They do not have good smoking places. If the weather is bad, you will have to face it. The places are generally not covered and if there are multiple persons somking, you need to watch where you keep you cigar, not to lit anyone up.
