I recently stayed at A&O Rotterdam City with a group of friends for 7 nights, and it was a fantastic experience! The hostel was exceptionally clean, and the staff clearly took great care in maintaining the space. The common areas were welcoming, making it easy to relax and socialize. The location was perfect for exploring the city, and we loved how everything was conveniently close. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Overall, it was great value for money, and I’d highly recommend A&O to anyone traveling with friends or solo. We’ll definitely be back!

Great staff. Really clean and well maintained rooms. Bathrooms were cleaned daily, which is a huge plus. Its not a luxurious hostel, but given the price you pay its extremely good value for money. Would stay there again.

In shared rooms, sometimes, the people there arent so great. Its not the hostels fault, but just a disclaimer that you might have to deal with them if youre staying in a dorm. Maybe a solution would be to introduce 2 or 3 bed sharing dorms. But either way was pretty good

Comfy location kitchen

AN OLD MAN HE WAS LOUD IN THE ROOM DIDNT LET PEOPLE SLEEP IN THE MORNING. SECURITY GUARD WOKE US UP ASKING IF DOOR WORKS..NO GOOD. THEN THERE S A MAN FAT RUDE TO ME DISCRIMINATED WHY ? I AM A TRANSIENT FREQUENT GUEST LOVED YOUR ROOMS YOUR PROPERTY BUT THIS TIME IT WAS BAD FORCING ME TO LEAVE THE HOTEL. THEN I DESERVE A CREDIT BACK. I AM YOYR FRWQUEST GUEST I BROUGHT YOU LIKE 5 GUESTS PEOPLE I MEET ON MY WAY HERE. I AM FROM CALIFORNIA I DO TV PUBLICITY. BEST REGARDS

centrally to the city center and plenty of late night bars. the Tram is literally a hop, skip, and a jump from the front doors of the hotel.

1.the property on booking.com offered a tea kettle, coffee maker, hand soap , and other basic room amenities. however when we checked in the first day, the staff relayed that all those things were recently taken out of the rooms due to new management. to me, that is unacceptable. we paid for these rooms under the assumption these basic amenities would be available; however they were not. Tea and coffee were ONLY available at breakfast.

private twin room with private bathroom and balcony. (was the same as a hotel room, Minus the coffee making facilities which to be fair I didnt expect anyway. The TV was a bonus though we didnt use it. Very quiet room, Never heard anyone else. Room well heated, very dark curtains. Looked to be newly refurbished. Staff very helpful and freindly

I like it because I am on the fifth floor and the view is very nice. You can see the green top of Rotterdam. On that day, I am also having online class via Zoom, and since no one yet checked in my room, which is shared, I was able to do it conveniently. The internet was fast. The room is clean and fresh. It looks like a three-star hotel, only that you shared a bed with others but it is okay. I have learned so much from them.

Great location, just 15 mintues walk from central station & city centre. Very kind receptionist, was happy to stay here.

Not the hotels fault but some other guests were pounding on your door at night. They were very loud but the receptionist told them to stop and after they did thankfully. Also, at the room I’d be happy to have a small fridge, sadly that was not an option, but we managed without one.

I like the always friendly and helpful staff . Ready to help and solve any problems. 24 hours open for tourists.

This time Instead of a double room as always, we got a 6-bed room for two. They explained that there were no rooms for 2. It was a little uncomfortable, there was no free space. Hope it will not happen again. I like this hotel and don't want to look for another one.

Helpful staff, rooms were fine

Had to upgrade from a shared room to private because the guests already in there had devastated the room with half eaten food and garbage everywhere. No fault of the hostel though, some people are just animals.
