At 1030 pm a member of reception staff banged on our room door demanding to know what I was going to do about an unpaid bill. I told her I didn't have an unpaid bill. She then went away. Less than five minutes later another member of the reception team banged on our door. demanding to know what we were going to do about the unpaid bill. I told her I did not have an unpaid bill and I had booked and paid with Booking.com and I would speak to reception in the morning. I worried all night about this. In the morning reception said there was nothing to pay. We left a day early because I had made myself ill with worry and we cut short our stay and went to France I am getting old and did not want this. In future if this was the last hotel in Europe I would not stay in it

The staffs in the hotel were very helpful. The hotel look really nice and quiet. the room is same as in the picture. Breakfast was nice and there are a lot of parking availability. There is fitness center in the leisure area.

I have nothing that I don't like about this place as I stayed only one night. And I totally satisfied with the service and the hotel itself. I definitely stay here again in the future. But you might not like it if you are expected to stay in the city center.

It was further out out of the city than implied by the the web site. Some of the staff did not appear to know the area. We had no stransport and relied on the bus service which was good, but hotel staff did not have a time table for the bus. The staff could not tell us if there was any where local to eat other than the hotel.

Typical business hotel, normal standard, fairly spacious room and bath. Balcony is nice and facing into some green space, although noise from the motorway. Good parking.

Not sure I got the concept around the fitness / well-being area. Open and free of charge in the morning and until lunch, but needs to be booked (and chargeable?) in the evening? Weird ...

Room size was fine , matress was excellent, pillows as well.

Bathroom had hair from previous guests. The carpet had few stains and the hotel didnt offer slippers which i find non negotiable when they have a carpet on the floor which cant be cleaned enough. Breakfast was limited . Was ok but limited .

When booking I had requested a room with a balcony or terrace, on arrival was told there were none available, even though I had booked a month in advance. Otherwise everything was really fabulous and I would definitely return to The Carlton President Hotel. Buses (and metro and trains) are so very efficient with Utrecht city just a 20 minute journey away and Amsterdam just 45 minutes on the bus. The bus stop is just a two minute walk from the hotel.

The bed was so comfortable, breakfast very good and so much to chose from. Very nice people. And really helpful. It was really quiet in the hall. If theres the next a state of trance in Utrecht i will definitely come back and stay in that hotel.

I can’t really complain much, but i guess the room was a little bit too cold for my girlfriend. But i didn’t matter to me.

The parking lot is controlled with a parking arm but no ticket is given. ?? The parking lot is well lit at night and plenty of parking is provided. Check-in was quick. Our room's walls were all an interesting color of green with a picture of a huge grasshopper on one of them. ?? Room with a sink and shower and a separate room for the toilet which was nice. Shower was big and the water pressure was good with constant hot water. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Our room faced the canal. Room was clean. Can't comment on the breakfast and we didn't have it on site. Bus stop is very close to catch if going into Utrecht.

Staff could have been friendlier on check-out and check-in. The room was super green which was kind of annoying. We left our balcony door open in the mornings to vent the shower steam and neighbors were smoking on their balcony which wafted into our room which was annoying. The shower room and toilet room were raised about an inch from the rest of the room so if you weren't paying attention, you could stub your toe if walking around barefoot.

I was told that due my Genius level with Booking.com I was upgraded to better room and use of mini-bar was free - staff very pleasant and helpful, room very nice

No complaints about the hotel. Location is a bit away from the centre for somebody like me who is not travelling by car. Taxis are expensive and take a long time to come, but once I worked out that there is a very good local bus service to/from local station, running every 15mins until after midnight, with bus stop 5 mins walk from hotel, this was no longer a problem.

The hotel itself, and all amenities are great and very helpful staff.

The location is a bit far from the town center, ~ 20 minutes by bus, but since the buses are frequent, it's not such a big issue, at least it wasn't for me, but just something to have in mind.
