The room was very quiet (other than the occasional sound of water in old pipes, but that didn't really bother me). The bed was absolutely divine. SO comfortable. I slept so well every night. Nice mirror lighting in both the bathroom sink and the bedroom vanity- perfect for putting on makeup before a wedding I was there to attend. I appreciated the 3x mirror in the bathroom too. The shower was equipped with lovely smelling soap and shampoo. There was a great selection of food to choose from at breakfast. I didn't originally include breakfast in my booking, but it looked so good I decided to have breakfast at the hotel. The staff were so accommodating and friendly. One thing I really appreciated was that I had an overnight train and I got to the hotel a few hours early and I was so thankful that they had my room ready so I could have a rest. A lot of little and big gestures made this stay perfect. The neighborhood is very quaint and charming. I didn't have the chance to rent a bike from the hotel, but if I'm ever back I definitely will. Would absolutely stay here again. Thank you, The Anthony staff for making my stay amazing.

room was tiny, but adequate and clean, and well thought out for such a tiny space. courtyard rooms have glass walls on either side, shielded by curtains. could hear parking lot and courtyard noise. Noise was negligible in winter, but I imagine courtyard could get noisy in warmer weather. Parking was spacious and easy to negotiate, and very accessible and convenient to those courtyard rooms. fantastic location, easy walk to shopping and historic area.

massive construction zone, which they can’t help, construction equipment and taxis blocked entrance both arriving and departing. had to get out of car and seek someone to move their vehicle.

Had a wonderful stay at The Anthony. The room was small but cosy and comfortable - great for someone who was out all day and just needed somewhere to rest at the end of the day. The inner courtyard was an unexpected surprise and a great place to sit and relax, even when it rained! A charming hotel with a boutique feel to it that is right by the central station and convention centre. Would highly recommend it over the more generic hotels in the area. The streets around the hotel are also lovely and quiet and you can enjoy a beautiful walk along the canal to get to the station/centre.

I have booked a room for my parents. Unfortunately, an upsetting situation took place during the check-out. Breakfast has been included in the initial bill. Nevertheless, my parents were demanded to pay for it at the check-out and also Hotel stuff didn't find my total online payment for the room. It took about 40 minutes to check all the bills and payments. As a result of this major misunderstanding they have missed their train to the airport and had to take a taxi for 120 euros.

Beautiful hotel with lots of nice details and a luxurious feel to it. We had a nice surprise that our very spacious room had a seating area on the ground floor with the bedroom upstairs. The receptionists were super friendly and welcoming. We only stayed for one night but enjoyed the hotel very much.

No fault of the hotel but the location is not that great, we didn't feel at ease to walk back from the center at night. Instead we took the bus back and the last 5 minutes walk from the bus stop were fine.

Location 20 mins walk from centre of Utrecht however we enjoyed exploring local parks & cafes. Loved the new air conditioning unit installed in our apartment the first new day we were there. Loved the friendly staff, hotel courtyard and excellent food. Fantastic service for food and drink.

It was hot while we visited. The first night we had no air conditioning or fans in our apartment. However the hotel did warn us this was the case, installed air conditioning as promised and gave us a bottle of wine.

Our room was beautiful and comfortable. The location was quiet. There was plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the beautiful weather.

I have to say that the area around buffet island in the restaurant is a problem, especially if you have mobility or vision issues. They serve the cold portion of breakfast on this island. There is a full step down halfway down the length of the island, and no amount of caution tape on the step prepares you for suddenly falling off it.

The staff was really nice and helpful, the location perfect close to the city centre just 15 min walking and the apartment clean. We booked an apartment for 4 people, 4 nights and it was big, comfortable with such a nice decoration. It was equipped with everything you need!

Bathroom and toilet were in different spaces which is helpful when you are 4 people. The toilet was a bit tiny. Would be handy to have another one toilet in the same space with the bathroom as the room was massive.

I really enjoy the restaurant in main building of hotel, food was excellent and also service . Lobby bar was pleasant atmosphere and kindly staff. I think in summer theres is more nicer as there was also terrace.

Room cleanliness could be better and also in room was quiet cold maybe because I had 1st floor room. And was little bit loud because the street was being repaired. Coffe machine was with broken used capsule holder and tea bags looks like very old and tea bag packaging doused with water.

Excellent hotel with very posh design both in the common areas and in the rooms. Friendly and helpful staff, good parking opportunities. The hotel has a beautiful courtyard and terrace which I imagine will be wonderful in the summer months.

While the breakfast was excellent, the dinner we had in the Monk restaurant was horrible. To give the staff some credit I think they were overloaded due to a large group who just finished a day's conferencing, but our food took over an hour to arrive and when it did my meat was heavily undercooked.
