The room was of great size with a very comfortable bed. The shower had good water pressure despite being located on the top floor. I really appreciated that the hotel provided earplugs for the stay cause without them I wouldn't have slept a minute. The room was very well equipped

The room was facing the church tower with bells which kept tolling every 15mins. Not ideal if you are hoping for a good night's rest or can't wear earplugs. The stairs to the rooms are extremely steep, I couldn't imagine myself carrying a heavy suitcase up to the top floor!

Cozy Pillow was very good. In the centre of historic Utrecht, so could go for a rest in afternoons. Spielkas museum right across the hotel. Everywhere is easily walkable. Room was modern,comfortable, with modern, big bathroom and a outside patio which we enjoyed. The vitual key entrance to room and hotel worked excelent. You need wifi though. We could leave our luggage after check out in the shop attached to hotel. Photos on site is a true reflection.

The stairs to the room was very steep. Normal for old buildings. You need good balance to get up and down there with a suitcase. It was well lit.

This alone makes a stay at Cosy Pillow memorable. Given the overall positive experience, I am looking forward to booking a night at Cosy Pillow on my next visit to Utrecht.

Fantastic location, friendly staff, beautiful large room, with great facilities. We had read the reviews so knew that you had to check in at the back of the store under the hotel - not immediately obvious but if you know, checking in is super easy, and the staff are so nice. We arrived a little early but our room was ready so we were able to access the room an hour early, which was terrific. If your room isn't ready they are happy to store your bags for you so that was great. We were also given an emergency contact number, as there is not a 24 hour reception, which we did not need to use, but was a great relief to know just in case!

The soundproofing wasn't great but the hotel provide earplugs. The church bells do go off during the night (not the hotel's fault!) but we barely heard them and neither me, nor my husband could hear them with the earplugs in. There was some noise from above us and in the corridor but if we were to stay again (I wouldn't stay anywhere else if I were visiting Utrecht again!) then I'd ask for a room higher up.

Our overnight stay was an exceptional experience thanks to Sonia. She is, without a doubt, the shining star of this establishment and the reason our Utrecht trip was so memorable. Sonia's warm hospitality went above and beyond. She not only welcomed us with a friendly smile but also shared fantastic recommendations for places to visit and delicious food to savor in the city. What truly stood out about Sonia was her remarkable problem-solving skills. When we encountered a challenge with our luggage, she displayed incredible creativity in finding a solution, making our stay stress-free. Her service was nothing short of five-star, and she made us feel incredibly accommodated and valued guests. If only everyone in the hospitality industry could be as exceptional as Sonia, the world would be a better place. The hotel itself is a hidden gem in Utrecht. It exudes charm and is a true boutique experience. Our room was impeccably clean and well-appointed, comfiest bed, with thoughtful amenities such as complimentary bottled water, earplugs, and a convenient coffee machine. The quality of the toiletries provided was also impressive. One of the highlights of the Cozy Pillow Hotel is its perfect location. It allowed us to explore the beautiful city of Utrecht with ease, making our visit all the more enjoyable. In summary, our stay at the Cozy Pillow Hotel was nothing short of delightful, thanks to Sonia's exceptional service and the overall charm and quality of the establishment. Excellent location, right in the historic centre, very close to the Dom Tower and canal. Love the tower bell singing. The e-key works well. Powerful shower. During our three-day stay, we went to a few recommended eateries, Anna’s Pancakes, Ted’s, and an Indonesia restaurant Blauw, all serving excellent foods! Thank you for the recommendation.

Crunchy mattress protector

Amazing accommodation! The room is huge, with a terrace, lots of natural light and a bathroom with heated floor. There are all needed facilities and even more. The bad is big and very soft with comfortable pillows (Cozy Pillow, I got it 😉). And the towels were surprisingly soft! I mean, in an average hotel they are always super tough, but here they were very gentle. Of course the location is 10/10: city centre, quite and nice. And for me, as for a “digital” person it was amazing to have a digital key, online check-in and check-out.

The room itself seems to be soundproof, but the door has a small gap in the bottom, so we could hear other guests walking and talking on the stairs.

Very comfortable bed. Everything I needed in the room. Reasonably quiet on top floor. Miserable outlook at rear but I wasn’t there for the view! No staff on site at the hotel. All digital which worked. The breakfast at Ann & Max cafe was one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. Delightful place.

Missed the top up of coffee creamer, washing wine glasses and shower gel. Getting larger travel bags up the stairs takes some energy but is worth it.

Lovely, spacious room with balcony. View was amazing - seeing both the Domtower and another belfry. I loved the clock bells ringing the time. Easy to walk to - between train station, hotel, and area around Domtower. Manager was lovely, friendly.

Stairway was quite steep so people with disabilities might find it hard to utilize this hotel.
