Location Location Location Fabulous. Our room #2 was a bit quirky, up 1-1/2 flights of typically narrow and steep Dutch stairs, then into the suite only to find the lovely bathroom on that level, while the bedroom was down a full flight of typically Dutch narrow spiral stairs. Perhaps not for everyone, but fine for us. Very nice to have a small fridge as well as a set of pates, bowls and cutlery provided, making it easy to have a granola breakfast in.

A one level suite would have been slightly better - but surprises are part of the fun of travel.

Super comfy bed with feather pillows. Additional bed for our 16 yo that was apparently comfortable too. Very convenient breakfast available at Daen's Cafe downstairs/next door - this was complimentary on the first morning. Excellent location in the centre of Utrecht, a short walk to everywhere. Very friendly and welcoming staff who gave additional helpful information by email before our stay - thank you!

It was all great! I was a bit worried about the potential noise from the square, but we could hardly hear it at all and did not need the ear plugs provided.

No breakfast. As we had room 3 with rooftop balcony, we bought breakfast food at supermarket 1/2 block away and ate it on the balcony. Room fully equipped with silverware, dishes, bowls, cups. Beautiful decor. They decorated our room with hearts to celebrate our anniversary! 💕 nose from cafes below til midnight or so. But they supply earplugs next to the bed. Beware: STEEP STEPS. loved dinner at Streetfood Club a block away. Amazing food!

For our second night we moved to room 1. No criticism of first night just that the room was no longer available. Room 1 was more expensive but worth it. Very spacious and with a great view over the square. In both rooms the beds were super-comfortable and the rooms were spotlessly clean. And the staff were amazing! Utrecht is a great city too. Please ask about parking options. We parked about 15 minutes walk away, in a very secure car park, and it cost 19 euros for two days.

The stairs are steep but this is the Netherlands - that’s how they built them! if you have mobility issues then this could be problematic.

Spacious room with a very comfy bed. Excellent location ~ close enough to the Central train station but in the heart of the action of the old city. Boon's grocery store a 2 minute walk away. The balcony doors allowed us to enjoy the busy-ness of the street below at an arms length. We appreciated the provision of a few essentials that allowed us to have snacks in our room. Friendly host who was interested in our well being.

The guesthouse is located in the city center, there are plenty of shops, cafés and restaurants in the area. We had the room on the top floor (there are only three rooms) with a terrace, which was amazing. The room was very clean and decorated beautifully. I was so thankful, that someone brought our suitcases up the stairs.

It's not a negative at all, just a heads up, the stairs are quiet steep.

Spacious room. Stayed together with my son who found the room amazing because he could watch TV from the bed as well as have dinner in the room at a table. It is ideal for people looking to stay in a room where you can both sleep and have dinner.

We loved the location of this hotel, and the room itself was one of the nicest we've stayed in! It did get a bit loud outside at night on a Saturday, with people out until 2-3am, but the hosts were thoughtful enough to provide earplugs, so it didn't bother us at all.

Nothing; we had a great experience with the staff, room, and location. The noise was the only thing that some people might be bothered by, but it really wasn't bad.

I stayed in two rooms actually, because I extended my stay and switched to the other room for the third night. The first room (number two) was smaller but cute and comfortable, even though you need to take the stairs in the room itself - the bathroom is next to the entrance to the room, while you need to go down on steep stairs to get to your bed. The room itself and the bathroom were spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable, the pillows as well (and I'm usually quite demanding in that area). Then I switched to the biggest room on the top floor with a terrace and it is beautiful, spacious, and a true delight. If only I booked that one for my entire stay. The lady at the desk was very kind and helpful.

It's not that I didn't like it, but maybe for some people it's not convenient - there is no lift and the stairs are quite steep so you need to be careful.

The room was big and spacious and was wonderfully designed. It was right in the middle of town, excellent location. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

A little noisy since it's in the middle of town but earplugs were provided (I didn't actually need them - I'm from New York so noise doesn't bother me - but it was a thoughtful touch!) and I don't fault the property with that.
