Breakfast was tasty, would have liked a full kiwi breakfast option or buffet. What we did have was delicious and the staff were very friendly.

We put the 'Clean my room' sign out but we came back and the room hadn't been touched. Ended up going to reception to get clean towels.

Great location and price, room had everything I needed

Throughout the night it was quite loud, both inside and outside noise, and being the first room next to the lift didn’t help

Very conveniently located near the top of the CBD, easy access to most of the inner city. The room was very clean and the bed was quite comfortable. Good size for a single traveler but a couple could also make it work I think. There is a Lone Star restaurant on the permits for dining and other options very close by. Bathroom was immaculate. There was a small, fenced balcony providing a small private outdoor area for the room (which seems to be an Auckland feature, only a view of surrounding buildings though).

The air con was locked and the room was unpleasantly warm overnight, with no natural airflow. Opening the door to the balcony helped a bit but was very noisy until the early hours.

Very friendly check in with an unexpected upgrade. Comfortable bed, excellent hot shower with soft towels and nice toiletries. Blackout curtains good for light sleepers like me. Breakfast next door at Lone Star was very good. Excellent selection, topped up regularly and good quality food.

Unfortunately when we went into the room the bin hadn't been emptied and the desk drawer had some of the previous guests belongings inside - this could only mean the room hadn't been fully cleaned by housekeeping prior to our stay. Also we could not get the safe in our room to work so we had to take our passports etc out with us for our evening meal and breakfast.

Lovely room, good central location for downtown Auckland, staff were very nice about letting us leave our bags in storage between check-out and going to the airport. There’s a nice little gym/fitness centre available for use.

Amenities were good but for one small thing, our bottle of soap was almost empty when we got in, and wasn’t refilled even on the second day. Also, it is on the steeper side of Queen St so would warn people about the walk up!

Firstly the Staff were amazing! I cannot stress enough the Customer Service was one of the best Ive encountered in my life, throughout our whole stay. He was very professional yet chill & polite. First impression at the front desk greeted by this man was awesome, Im sorry I can't remember his name but he was an awesome person & is definitely an asset to the property 😊 I loved my room, the bed was comfortable & the space was nice! The balcony with the sky tower view was awesome aswell, so thanks to the staff for accommodating to my request! This was appreciated 😊 The hotel itself felt very nice & modernist.

I feel this was important to note, that the towels provided had a off smell to them, like the washing machine filter needed changing/cleaning. It had a really bad odor in the towels which gave a bad impression whether they were clean or not? Same goes with the sheets & pillow cases on the bedding. It didnt really impact our stay but it did leave a noted thought to feedback.

Comfortable beds, good sized bathroom, large refillable bottles of products for use - shampoo, conditioners, body wash etc. rather than the small throwaways. Good location walking distance to main centre and Karangahape Rd.

Overall a good stay. It should clearly state on the description when booking rooms with no balcony that there is *no natural air* into the room as the windows do not open - room was stuffy; also the rooms are very small/narrow, you can knock into the tv when walking past the beds so the size of the room contributes to the stuffiness. It should also state that $100 bond is required which I only discovered on arrival, and the same for photo ID - I don't drive and I didn't think to bring my passport, thankfully they accepted my daughter's license. The small couch and in between the beds had bits and crumbs that cleaning had overlooked. There is lack of space to place your belongings on other than a small round table. There was also no water available. Not much info about parking.

Very clean with rooms that looked brand new. Very good location. Very comfortable bed and room in general.

Booked 2 nights with 2 breakfasts. On the first day the breakfast was average (especially the coffee). The second day they took too long (waited for at least 25 minutes) so I had to ask for a refund since I had to check out and head over to a meeting.

Friendly staff, great location. Rooms well decorated and we'll lit, great veiw of queens street from thebalcony. Perfect place to crash after a night out

I didn't realise parking had to be booked in advance. Upon arrival I asked about parking on site and was advice that the carpark was at capacity and I would have to find somewhere else. Not ideal given that on site parking was advertised on the website and this was a large reason why I decided to chose this hotel. Ended up going on a bit of a goose chase and settled for 67 symonds street around the corner. No biggie. Just not what I expected, was hard to find my way out of the car park building (and back in the next morning). However I wiill certainly be visiting again. Just be sure to ask about parking before hand.

I absolutely loved it. We booked here a year ago and loved it then. Close to the movies, a park, art museum, you can walk to so many things, shopping the peek. The office was amazing they accommodated our request for a room switch and even were able to separate our beds and assist us without our luggage. to the next room. We had dinner at Lonestar it is in the hotel. The food was fantastic. Highly recommend

Service at the Lonestar was lacking, it took us over an hour and a half to get a shrimp appetizer and a shrimp dinner.
