Such a quirky little hotel right above where the tram line is . Very close by to plenty good food/drink places. Plenty good cafes for breakfast on the tram alley. Lovely staff and very welcoming atmosphere when we checked in and even got a lovely room upgrade for our honeymoon stay too x

Rooms don’t have aircon you can adjust so we opted to open the windows for some cooler evening air for over night. Our room was to the roadside and it being a summer Saturday the pub/club noises from the near by places were fairly loud all the way until the early hours of the morning. So if you’re a light sleeper I’d ask a room on the tram side of hotel as the cafes and restaurants there close at a reasonable hour. Apart from that no other mentionable things you’d worry about. A very comfortable stay all in all x

Basic clean and modern room. Parking downstairs for a fee was useful. Good if you want somewhere to sleep and then get out into Christchurch on foot. Shops below are useful - café for breakfast at the door, Japanese restaurant, bottle shop, convenience store, Tram goes underneath the hotel - surprising the first time you hear it but not a problem as it stops by 8.30pm and rarely passes through. Toaster and microwave in a common area with seats. Staff were attentive.

I personally prefer a flatter pillow but the trend these days is to make them as high as possible. Of the four pillow, maybe provide some options.

The hotel is perfectly located in a secure and convenient location. The overall room and hotel design is both pleasing and functional. The staff deserves an A+ for cleanliness.

Not having a Nespresso Machine in the room nor coffee available in the hotel lobby was a disappointment. If one did not want to use the tedious coffee press in the room and if you wanted coffee before the nearby cafes opened at 8:00, you would have to walk to the hotel next door for takeaway coffee.

Great location and host on shift when we arrived was GREAT! Raj i believe. Veyr polite and helpful

Bathroom does not drain so when we had showers, we were met with a very wet and flooded bathroom floor. Also parking. We had arranged and paid for parking, after going out for dinner on the first night, someone had parked in this parking space and we had to call Raj out and arrange another park. I understand this happens because htey share a parking space with QUest, this could be slightly better managed with the two facilities

They went above and beyond for me and my daughter. Even putting children's bedding on her bed and a few toys to play with! The room was absolutely beautiful. There was a difficult visitor next door that arrived within the first 30 minutes. They dealt with them and apologized to me and made sure we were fine etc 🥰

Not having a microwave or toaster I'm the room. It is on the other floor out in the common area but it's better having one in the room it feels less..... awkward.

The room was super neat and cosy. The shower was huge! It could literally fit 3 people in there. The decorations throughout the hotel also made it so much more homely.

The parking spaces that you had to pay $30 a day for were really tight! I took my small car and there was a large 4wd next to me, the fence is far too close behind us so we had to do a 10 point turn to leave the carpark each time as it was so tight.

The staff were lovely, the room was large and well thought out, large bed, and the decor was modern and unique. The elevator access was also a plus with large bags! The shower pressure was great too which was a surprise!

The bathroom fan did not appear to work no matter which switches were pressed, and the water from the shower did not appear to fall towards the drain correctly, leading to a flooded bathroom floor and sopping wet floor mat.

Loved this place! Gorgeous room with comfy bed, heating in the room and the bathroom. Staff were lovely and although it doesn't look it from the outside this hotel is very boutique and nice and quiet in the room. Location was excellent, super close to the main shopping street and public transport. You can take a bus right from the airport and get dropped off just around the corner and it only costs $4!

Overall the room was good value for money. It was located right inside a train station with a few different restaurants/cafes next door. It was also pretty close to the CBD for easy access to additional food options. The staff was very nice and everything was clean.

I traveled with a friend who got a much smaller room, so be aware some rooms are more spacious than others. Outside of the room, there were very few amenities offered. I also wish it was easier to reserve a parking space ahead of time.

Great one night stay. Room a good size overlooking street. Hotel centrally located for seeing the sights. Paid for parking, which was on hotel property.

No air-conditioning, so had to sleep with windows open on a street. Also, for some reason, we were given an accessible room, which anyone in a wheelchair would not be able to access as there were stairs 🤔
