Loved the location which is literally a 10 min ride from the airport. Great access to restaurants, salon and spa on-site. Kmart and pak n save is a 15 min drive away should you need extras. Queenstown city is a quick 20m drive. Quite a bit of traffic in the mornings but can be avoided by going down the side streets. It's a beautiful drive too with the a view of lake wakatipu. Hiring a car gives you freedom to go off the beaten track and see Queenstowns beauty!

The hotel was too hot! The heaters were on in the hallways. The aircon in our room could only face down wards the vane on the unit would not move. We tried multiple times on the remote. You need aircon in the bedrooms too.

Pros Beautiful location away from hustle and bustle Free daily drinks (coffee/tea or alcohol) if you opt out of daily room servicing - you can still request fresh towels and other amenities Nice large comfortable bed Water taxi very close by Parking on site ($16NZD daily)

Cons There are no spare power points next to the bed Only hanging space, nowhere to put pants/undies, etc No long towel hanging rails to dry out towels Shower pressure is quite weak The shower takes a while to heat up, so you have to waste a lot of water before being able to jump in

Tranquil with Fantastic views at your doorstep of the lake n mountains. Low rise, quiet and spread out. Staff are excellent: professional, knowledgeable, most helpful & courteous... and go the extra mile. Comfortable bed, sofa, kitchen with amenities and spacious. Hotel offers free drink vouchers if u don't need the room made up. That is a great initiative as we don't see the need to have the room cleaned every day.

A bit far from town. If u are not driving, will have to take a taxi or boat to town, which costs$10 each way per person.

Very comfortable bed and excellent kitchenette facilities and good sized fridge. Good quality cooking utensils and crockery. Good sized room and TV. Good wifi connection. Friendly Staff.

No clear RECEPTION sign for first time visitor. Parking $16 per day. NO PARKING sign off putting for drop off/pick up of luggage outside the eventually found Reception Entry area. No cost parking available but long uphill walk via the entry road to main road shoulder parking. 3hours free parking then need to extend time for total cost $16/day.

Nice room and comfy bed too. Usually like the tv to be in front of bed but it was a nice lounge area to chill in separate from room. Handy having mini kitchen with oven microwave and everything you need to make own dinners which was good as well. Water taxi was handy as well to head into town.

Small balcony which was taken up by the heat pump/air conditioner machine so didn’t really use the balcony even though we like to have a room with one to sit outside and relax.

We were told that we had been upgraded to a better room but they had taken away our breakfast and other benefits from our original booking. Yes the room was better however to buy breakfast would have cost us another $35 each.

Paying $15 for car park when we have paid a fair price for our room. although the upgraded room was better there was no breakfast included. After complaining we did keep our upgraded room and they did give us the $35 breakfast which if you were a big eater was great.

The view from my room was amazing.

Travelling with a group, booked months ago at the same time and we were all on different levels. Would have been nice to be all on the same level.

It was hot outside and it was lovely to walk in to a cool room with the air conditioner on. It was great to have a wee kitchenette and I appreciated the cleanliness of the room.

The couch was really low and a little bit uncomfortable. As we get older in life, those low couches are not comfortable. I only 51 and my husband is 52 and we both commented on the couch being too low and being uncomfortable to sit on for any length of time. (Not a normal thing for us)

Love the fireplace in the room and staff were very friendly and helpful.

Took a while to find our way around, even with a map. Once parking our car it took 3 different lifts to get to our room. Room also wasn’t as clean as we would’ve expected, used shaving razors from the previous guest left in the bathroom. Cold shower too - my husband had a shower and he said it was nice and hot, but by the time I had one, the water was luke warm at best which is not what you want in the middle of winter.

Fabulous setting. Great staff especially Arpit. Having booked many months ago because of the location and view our first room was not what we had anticipated. We asked to be moved. Arpit went above and beyond and after we had been out for the afternoon moved us to what we had expected. His knowledge of the local area and how to navigate was brilliant. We spent 3 nights and had the most wonderful time.
