Location is excellent alone a short walk to Central Queenstown, although the walk back hill can be challenging. The room was spacious, light and had great views.

Car parking was limited and access to parking spaces was at times difficult.

I researched Queenstown accommodation for days. Deciding between an Airbnb or a hotel. This property was the best of both worlds. Our apartment was large in size with all the amenities needed for a week long stay. Coffee machine, washing machine, dryer and tv perfectly positioned so it could be watched on the couch or from the comfort of bed. If needed, there was a restaurant downstairs or room service available to be delivered to your door. The best part? Our apartment had an incredible view of the city centre. Amazing. Plus it was about 10 minutes walk to amazing food (Fergburger was visited 3 times!) and shopping.

The carpark situation wasn't great. Its definitely a case of first in, best dressed. Restaurant goers share the same park as guests, so if your timing is off, you're parking on the street (which has limited time restraints). We got lucky a few times in the underground carpark as we had a small nimble car and could squeeze into spaces others might not try.

Large, airy room. Well appointed. Comfortable bed and pillows. Nice bath and shower in bathroom. Good aircon.

Paid for a room with undercover parking. On arrival we were told it's first come first serve for parking bays. Well, there's only 23 parking bays and 4 of them are taken up with staff motorcycles. So, good luck. There's almost zero parking in the streets surrounding the hotel. The hotel is built on a hill. It's the first hotel that has sloping corridors – only the room is level to the ground. It's bizarre. You have to walk up to walk down and vise versa. Once in the room its's all good. The shower blasts so hard it's painful. The bath is great.

Everything! The staff from reception to the cleaners were amazing to deal with!

The ONLY downfall and the only reason we didnt give this place a 10/10 is our washing machine & dryer kept crapping out on us which was a real inconvenience as this was one of the filters we’d included when looking for a place to stay. We have a 1 year old so I wanted to ensure we were on top of laundry. Even worse was that our bub was sick during our stay & had numerous spewing incidents but it was such a bummer that the washer & dryer werent doing the job we needed it too to ensure our vacation was not too much affected by the sick child, dirty & smelling clothes. OVERALL, it was great. Just - again, the dryer & washing machinery really did kill it for us. It was just unfortunate. The poor reception guy made an attempt to fix but after a while it would stop again

My husband and I traveled with Gate1 Travel group which included 3 nights in Queenstown Scenic Suites. We booked 1 additional night through Booking.com and got a reply that we can't stay in the same room for our last night. But upon arrival front desk employee JJ was very polite , understood our situation and got us room for all 4 days. We 're very happy. Nice spacious room on 3 floor, very quiet and comfortable. Everybody in the hotel was very nice, polite, professional and efficient. Unfortunately, I don't remember all names, but Front Desk and Dining Room staff was awesome .Thank you

Longer stay in Queenstown :)

Big and spacious room. Water pressure in the bathroom is very good. There’s a balcony to sit outside which is nice. A staff member offered our group an umbrella and ran inside to get us one when we were leaving the hotel. Really appreciated that.

The hotel layout is hard to navigate. I was there for 3 days 2 nights by the time I checked out I still couldn’t find the way around. Room wasn’t ready at check in time. I worked in hospitality as well so I understand that happens sometimes however when room was available there was no apologies from any staff members which as per industry standard is not quite acceptable.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. Of four nights, only one night the car parking inside our lot wasn’t available (we came back after 10pm), so we had to park in the other car parking of the hotel, but there was always parking g while we were there in May. It was a very spacious apartment for the two of us, super comfortable, everything was very clean, the kitchen super well equipped (we cooked out breakfasts there), it has a small laundry… and the design and layout of the room were perfect: the beautiful views of the lake could be seen from every area. Having breakfast looking at the lake was a great experience. Great location super close to everything. Just loved it

-Close to the CBD, 5 min walk but quite uphill - nice facilities such as the gym and especially the hotpool and sauna! Only $35 for 45mins. We thought it was $35pp but nope! It was for the whole facility! They had towels and showers in there too. - spacious rooms with nice amenities e.g. bathrobe and slippers, free laundry with soap, complementary hot drinks. You needed to pay for the mini bar, but still a nice touch. Buffet Breakfast was available if you wanted.

- Didn’t really have chrome cast or other viewing channels. There was a DVD player you could use from the reception and a variety of movies but it ended up not being able to connect to the TV and was quite an outdated DVD player - it was a bit uphill but the location was still great! 5 min walk from the CBD - the hotpool was close to the road so you could hear the cars but great value for money nonetheless

We booked last minute and we were pleasantly surprised by our room. They are even better than the photos. The quality of rooms for the money are really good value and we almost didn’t want to go out to explore Queenstown because we were so comfortable.

I think the reception staff could be a little more friendlier. The girl that checked us in was lovely however later during our stay we spoke to another front of house staff about the car parking and although I understand the parking circumstances I still think the way in which she handled my frustration could of been with more empathy. I probably ended up more frustrated with her response rather than the fact that we had no where to park. She seemed to just act like “it is what it is” attitude with a shrug of the shoulders. Such a little response put a bad taste in my mouth for all staff involved after that. Also didn’t like that you have to pay extra for the spa and sauna.

Scenic suites were in a great location close to centre of Queenstown. We loved having some extra room in the 1 bedroom apartment and full kitchen and washer /dryer. Under ground secure car park was a huge bonus in busy Queenstown. We didn’t need to take the car out at all a couple of days as we could walk into town for tour pickups.

The menu in the restaurant could do with a shake up. Great having a resistant on site but we weren’t too impressed with the food. Suites close to centre of town by the Big ass hill wasn’t fun to climb on way home each day. Just be aware of you have any physical restrictions.
