The staff at the hotel were so friendly and helpful and made our stay so much easier. The view from our hotel room was absolutely amazing and the way the room was set up felt very comfortable and spacious. We really appreciated how the hotel offers breakfast and how we could have breakfast boxes to take away when we had to leave early in the morning The bathroom was very clean and spacious with shampoos, conditioners and body wash provided. The bus stop and tour pickup point is literally just right next to the hotel which was so convenient.

Like the other posts have mentioned, there is a busy street outside of the hotel so it is very important to be patient while crossing the road. There’s also a slight climb when you’re coming back to the hotel but it wasn’t too much of a bother for us.

Fantastic location, we walked everywhere & were able to park our rental car nearby on side streets for free. The room looked bigger than the pictures - very spacious, two TVs & lots of sitting areas. It also felt very clean. My partner liked the buffet breakfast, in particular, the mushrooms, hashbrowns & pineapple juice.

Our toilet had a stench but it wasnt THAT bad that we wanted to complain about it.. it was just as if it hadn’t been cleaned in a while & there wasn’t great ventilation. Also, we noted our sheets weren’t changed everyday because we could tell there were little dots in the same spot everyday. Not a big deal honestly but our towels weren’t washed one day too when we requested our room to be made up.

Very clean and modern with a nice vibe/atmosphere in the lounge area and quiet and comfortable room. Breakfast was superb and better than I expected based on my previous experience at a different Holiday Inn Express in another city. Amenities in the room were of high standard, towels were good quality and room was a very good size. Location was excellent being only a short walk from the city centre as well as conveniently close to the public bus stop for easy airport access.

The price was very expensive compared to what I have previously paid for a Holiday Inn Express. I understand that Queenstown is a very popular location but it did make me consider going somewhere else. However I trust that Holiday Inn Express will give me a good experience which is why I still decided to book in.

The location, cleanliness and the included breakfast were superior for the price. We were also lucky to have had the last parking spot while there. Excellent value-for-many choice for our 3 night family stay.

Between our 3 rooms, one room key would not work on one day. We had asked for 2 pillows to be changed due to a smell in one room, and this resulted in them being removed but not replaced. It wasn't until the next day that they were replaced. Hairdresser in one room wasn't working, and again, took 2 days for this to be replaced. It's a big hotel so I understand lots of little things get missed, but this may speak to them being understaffed or needing better communication processes. Probably the most important was our check in. It took around 20mins to have us, 3 rooms, checked in in addition to the queue to check in. There were only 2 registers and some of the staff were new. The line after us was crazy.

Beautiful place to stay! Exceptional facilities, Central location, breakfast included both buffet or breakfast box if heading off early! Incredible views! Loved it here and would absolutely stay again! Bus stop right out the front and a stroll into town, the way home uphill is rough :P

Only issue I had was at check in they had me booked in to check out Monday when I had booked til Tuesday on booking with proof. They fixed this, however I paid for a mountain view room and got a gondola view, which was still beautiful but as I was expecting a mountain view. Upon querying I was told it was subject to availability which I booked 9 months in advance so was disappointed, but this couldve been due to the fact they had to add on the extra night as above. Sometimes you can hear the people next door in the interconnecting room if theyre on their phone/alarm.

Very nice and new hotel, the ski gear drying room and other extra facilities were excellent. Room was lovely. Staff are awesome, so friendly and accommodating.

We were told the pullout bed was an excellent quality and queen sized, it was not! It was a normal crappy double pull out sofa, which was uncomfortable and not appropriate for two people. The breakfast was the same every day, it would have been good to have some new things each day. Ham, cheese to make croissants and some greens such as spinach and mushrooms.

The main lobby is a treat. Plenty of space to either sit at a table or sit in a comfortable chair by a fire. The breakfast was good. The manager was kind and went out of his way to make our stay a pleasure. He was one of the hardest working managers that I have met.

The room 412 was hot. It was impossible to lower the room temperature. I would like to have had a different view, but the hotel was super busy so I can't really complain about that. Car parking was an issue as there is little of it around, however, we were were fortunate to be helped to get a car park at the hotel. This was a kind response to a medical condition and made a big difference to our stay.

Great hotel. New, clean and comfortable. Rooms are large with plenty of plugs for electricity. Bathroom was clean and big. Staff were friendly and helpful Breakfast was nice, had a few options .There was a water filter that was free to use and refill water whenever needed. Airport Orbus stop right outside.

The first time I arrived it took a while to find the entrance. Might be better if there was a clear sign where the entrance would be. Not bad or good but there's a sign that started room service cleaning was only done if requested however one day my room was made up while I was out. Not exactly a bad thing, just wasn't expecting it.. Wished there was another vegetable option for breakfast (like spinach or mushrooms. There was tomato but wish there were slightly more options). A bit uphill to get to from the centre but nothing overly terrible.

The most impressive is the staff quality. The services are professional and exceptional. Not only the smooth check in process without any redundant hustle, we also love how they arrange the taxi to the Remarkable with less than 5 min. The hotel provides quality food with reasonable price. Besides, the room is quiet and comfy. We will be very happy this hotel again.

The room service could be better in the matter of floor cleaning. We stayed for 11 nights this trip and felt like we accumulated some dust on the floor. It's unfortunate that the room service didn't clean the hair and the dust. This could be improved.

I stayed here on two separate occasions in the one week (different rooms). The first time I stayed, I thought the room could have been cleaned better as I noticed a few stray hairs in the bathroom. However, my second room was much cleaner! Comfy beds, and a nice size room. Loved the shower! I also used the gym and found it great although there is limited equipment. The self - service laundry was also extremely useful and helpful! The check in staff were lovely and are very polite, even when I noticed them dealing a difficult guest. Kudos to them! The lobby/ reception area of the hotel is wonderful! Its a short walk down to the town, but note that its an uphill walk on the way back!

Cleanliness needs to be improved and monitored so its the same level across the board. There were a lot of roadworks near the hotel, and the car park was full although I still found it easy to park nearby, and it was free!
