The room was spotless. The bed was beyond comfortable and HUGE! Having a working air conditioner was a plus, so many places we’ve stayed have issues with these. The location was awesome - except the giant, and steep, hill to get town (wouldn’t recommend for older people or those that have issues with walking). Bus stops nearby and within walking distance to town and the lake front.

The bar closed early so we couldn’t get a drink or coffee when we returned from town, which was a little disappointing but not a major issue

The newly renovated rooms are gorgeous, the bed deliciously comfy and the shower with rainfall head was amazing. Staff very helpful with queries, and location great for walking to and from Luma and town.

Parking wasn't available onsite, and roadworks around the hotel are crazy, so finding a park not too far away was just down to luck. We were prepared to pay for parking in the building, as is mentioned on the website. We checked in close to the earliest available time to try and secure a park, but there were none available. The description of what's available for parking should be updated, or even better, you should be able to pre-book a spot when you book the room.

A well renovated room with though out placement of lights and power points. loved the bathroom mirror that heats up to prevent mirror condensation forming when you shower. The room was nice and quiet. The buffet breakfast was the usual welcoming selection. stuff in the restaurant were hard working and friendly. Located on the public bus route. (After hopping off your flight, catch the bus to this accommodation, unless of course you are renting a car.) Walking distance to central Queenstown for shopping and restaurants.

As renovations are still taking place, construction noise commenced at around 7am till about 5pm during the day, making it different to sleep in.

The restaurant was excellent. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very co.fortable and the location was great.

Some of the front desk staff was not friendly. We signed dinner to our room one night. Generally, when you sign for something, it is added to the total hotel bill. That is the convenience of signing for it. At this hotel, we had to pay at the front desk separately for the meal as we were checking out. I have NEVER had that happen before. I travel all around the world. Hannah, the desk agent, was very nice about it. The other desk agent who was not even part of the transaction felt it necessary to tell us that this is the way it is all over New Zealand. This was our 4th hotel on this trip and the only one who conducted business this way. Weird.

The lamb main at the restaurant was superb. Considering it was a very weekend the service was excellent

Bit of confusion with the menus we were told our room must have had an old menu in it so our first planned meal choices weren’t available second choice of lamb was amazing. Then room service order was a touch mixed up an order of beef and cheese pies turned up as pork pies. Was a very busy weekend and the food served was lovely just not what we expected/ordered.

The updated rooms were fantastic! Very comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. We had a room that overlooked the inner courtyard, lovely to open the door and lots of natural light. We had a car and found parking to be good but if you have a large car best to check with the hotel as it was quite tight. Location was perfect and walking into town was easy, if you are not confident walking up hills then maybe not the best location for you. Buffet breakfast was a good start to the day.

Staff were all so accommodating. Rooms are spacious and have been recently renovated. Gorgeous bathroom. Comfy beds. I had a room with a view of the garden which is really pretty to wake up to. Have stayed at 3 other hotels recently in Queenstown for the same kind of price and they’re all very dated. Millennium was much better. Would definitely stay here again.

The food wasn’t great. Buffet breakfast very basic. Would be good if they had chrome cast instead of sky tv.

Very good location. It's walking distance from Queenstown town centre, although keep in mind walking back is uphill. The room is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. Staff are friendly and menu items are reasonably priced for room service. We didn't eat at the restaurant, only had drinks but they were fantastic.

The wifi is very bad. Connection speeds are very poor, it's basically unusable. I understand some rooms have been renovated, but we stayed in one that wasn't. It's definitely stuck in the 'Millenium' and tired, but it is clean. The bathroom has a tub shower which isn't ideal.

The hotel was comfortable and within easy walking distance of the city centre. The bed was comfortable and the room spacious enough for two people. The shower worked well. The staff were helpful and accommodating.

We ate in the hotel restaurant on both nights and there was a degree of confusion and the service was delayed on both nights. The meals were okay but not particularly apertising. The hotel is situated on a corner and on first arriving it is easy to miss the hotel and shoot past. This was not helped by nearby roadworks.

Thank you so much for taking care of my luggage for 5 days of Milford trekking after staying. It was a little difficult to walk on the uphill road, but the scenery from the alleyway going down the lake is really the best.

After trekking, I tried to make a reservation for accommodation on November 15, but I couldn't because it was more than twice the cost of accommodation on November 11, but I was grateful for taking care of my luggage for free.
