Everything was perfect upon arrival. Im not too sure if we got upgraded cause i booked a 1 bdrm unit but got 2 bdrms. The pool was perfect and the spa was perfect for our winter stay. The baby pool is a bonus as we havnt been to much accomodations with a baby pool. Location is on the main road but its still quiet as if your away from the city hussle. They have every emenities you need to cook, clean relax etc and it was spacious enough for my 14 month old son to still run and play. Will definitly be coming back. One of the cutest locations to date for me and my family. 🫶

They have cats!!!! Best part of the trip was cuddles with the cat in the afternoon. Location is amazing!! Gorgeous view of the lake from the hot tub. Walk across the road and you’re at the lake. Pool is really great for families and nicely kept. Three different temperatures depending on what pool/tub you get into. Gorgeous gardens. Parking was right outside door. And more parking for guests if needed. Our apartment was perfect. Fantastic size. The bedroom even fit our baby’s portacot. TV has movie channels which was a nice way to relax in the evening. Kitchen had everything you’d need in it while away. Staff are friendly.

The information booklets they give out need updating. They said they offered cold breakfasts or hot breakfasts if you organised it the day before. But when we went to organise they said they didn’t do it anymore which was a shame. Sheets were a little stiff for our liking but bed was clean and mattress and pillows were super comfortable Wifi was patchy.

The pool view unit was warm, comfortable & very clean. The pool & spa area were great & very well maintained with nice surrounds. I found the room very quiet compared to staying at other places. I couldn't hear any traffic noise at night or any noise from other guests rooms, even the room above.

I thought some sheer curtains in the lounge covering the french doors would have been nice & would of added a bit of privacy. I felt a little exposed when the curtains were open.

My room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. Within walking distance of the beach/lake and the sailing club. Friendly and helpful staff who offered lots of local information about places to eat, drink and to visit.

I wanted to have a swim and use the hot tub but it was always full of children. I chose the Anchorage for these facilities but found it difficult to use them which was frustrating. I think they should offer adult only sessions during the day, so both can be accessible by all.

This resort did not disappoint! We were blessed to get the room right at the front upstairs which gave us front seats to the beautful view of Lake Taupo. Our room was so clean, plenty of towels provided and room had everything we needed. We arrived late which was easy to arrange, the hosts had the heatpump going in our room so we settled in cosy & warm from our long cold drive (thank you). Staff was lovely upon check out, definitely will return in future!

We loved the view of the lake. 2 bathrooms was idea. A full kitchen fridge freezer dish washer full gas stove and oven (which we didn't use) cause we are out. Space in the room was being like at home. TV had available YouTube Neon Netflix sky so good choice with your own account of course. Excellent WiFi. Extra heaters in wardrobe which we needed. Great stay would love to return some weekend.

Beds were a little bit firm for us.

Great value for money, we felt very looked after the rooms had everything we needed and exceptionally clean.We enjoyed the spa and sauna.Its a fabulous spot by the lake and a short walk to a brilliant pizza/drinking spot.

Always love this motel...rooms are clean and spacious...staff are friendly and helpful. Pool is perfect for relaxing. Great sunny spot with outdoor furniture to enjoy a wine while enjoying the view. Nice LG TV which is great for hooking up your own Netflix account to. Great restaurant with good pizzas and coffee just a five minute walk away.

Nothing...everything was great.

Spacious, well furnished accommodation with a separate bedroom and sitting room. Very comfortable bed and great kitchen facilities. A lovely terrace and a small but lovely swimming pool plus a large spa pool. Welcoming staff who told us about all the local points of interest. Altogether, a great place to stay.

A separate shower would have been welcome but that was only of minor significance.

Peter was Very helpful, he was very welcoming he also gave us great suggestions of places to visit, so friendly, such a great environment. Our kids loved everything about this Resort. So family oriented. 👪 Staff are amazing, so welcoming and such a homely feeling. Swimming pool was a highlight for our children whom wish to swim all day an night if they could. That's all they wanted to do is swim, but over all our children called it home. The view from our room is also amazing, so exceptional and guaranteed a place to come back too, looking out to the lake. We are definitely coming back here again.
