Good price/quality value. Amazing location, 15' walk from restaurants/shops and immediately in front of the lake. Staff was nice and helpful. We got lucky because they gave us a free upgrade to a lakeview room, a very kind gesture that was immensely appreciated and shows they know how to take care of guests. Room well equipped with fan, heater, mini-fridge and basic but solid kitchen supplies. No complaints.

We had a good stay, so I can't really say too much. Some people might prefer to be immediately in town or closer to the i-site, but the 10-15 minute walk is really easy. Great place!

Booked at late notice, apon arrival reception gave a free room upgrade from roadside view to lakeside view. Lady at reception was very friendly and eager to know a little about why your in Taupo which is also nice. The location is a short 2 minute drive from the town center and a mere 10 meters from the lakeside. There is parking on site which is out of view of the public which was a nice security when travelling with a classic car. Couldn't fault this place at all, photo attached is from the bedroom window.

Stayed three nights, got a free upgrade to a lakefront room. The room was clean and tidy and recently upgraded. Awesome view across the lake. Old motel, but comfy. Went across the road and swum in the lake.

Nothing, really enjoyed my stay. Didn't notice the traffic noise.

Great location near waterfront. Carparking available, but if fully booked and everyone had cars, may need to have park on street. Customer service when arriving friendly and excellent. It was a last minute booking.

Took ages to figure out how to work TV, had to find a switch on back of TV as no remote for screen, only Sky remote. Rang office but was after 8.30pm, the answerphone said would ring back shortly. Never did. Large cobweb in bedroom. Toilet cistern button would get stuck, didn't realise until morning water had been running all night.

We were only in Taupo for the night, but not a long stay. Nive beng so close to the Lake and to the centre of town. Had excellent parking so close to our room, and that made moving our luggage so much quicker and eaiser. Didnt have any problems with the room, the staff or the property at all. Would definitely stay there again.

No issues, there wasnt anything to dislike. A great place to stay with excellent service.

Located right on the edge of Lake Taupo, perfect for walk into town eateries and sunset watching. Room was comfortable enough. The Lake is beautiful and lots to do on the foreshore. Free washing machines and dryer was appreciated (limited hours)

Bedroom only accessible through bathroom is a strange configuration but not a big deal for a family unit. Dated decor.

A great motel located just by the lake. We were surprised with the facilities in the room. A microwave, fridge, iron, and ironing board. They even have free laundry (but from 8am-8pm only). They also have a ping pong table, a huge kitchen for everyone to use. It was quiet and we had a lovely stay there. Will definitely come back again.

If I have to be very picky, it's the laundry time that's limited to 8am-8pm. But I'm okay with that as this rule was set as it was meant to keep the noise down at night.

Was there for Ironman 2024, our stay was very pleasant and enjoyable, v3ery close to where I needed to be, across from the beautiful lake and the swim start, 5 min walk to transition and not too far for grocery shopping and food for the night.

not much I didn't like about this Hotel, so will definately be back for another stay...

Great room views. Nice kitchen facility and bathroom, though bit dated. All right parking space. Good comfy beds. Central location.

The bathroom windows had a cumbersome way of opening and locking. Cumbersome driving around the motel facility in order to park. The motel seems a bit dated and needs a refurbishment, but it still serves its purpose.

I like that the room has a microwave, toaster and jug so I can be self sufficient. I arrived very late and had been out of cell coverage so they did not know if I was coming as was unable to answer their call. I phoned the missed mobile number when I arrived and the chap was lovely. He met me at reception and organised the key for my room, nothing was a problem.
